  • 엘리베이터에서의 어린이의 안전사고가 지속적으로 발생하고 있으나 현재 사용되는 보호자 중심의 주의표지는 효과적인 사고의 예방이 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 방재디자인을 기반으로 엘리베이터에서의 어린이 손끼임 사고의 예방을 위하여 국내외 주의표지 디자인을 분석하고 디자인 가이드라인을 적용하여 어린이 중심의 손끼임 방지 주의표지를 제안하였으며 대전 소재 어린이집의 어린이 34명을 대상으로 한 위험성 표시 평가를 통하여 선정된 어린이 중심의 주의표지는 엘리베이터에서의 어린이 손끼임 사고의 예방에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

  • Recently, to make game gotten out of negative perception of game addiction and gradually established as an immersion-centric and ositive and new game culture of the digital era from a culture perspective, the necessity of development of game composed of various materials has been emerging. In other words, the important part to make the environment of game industry which is growing into a higher value-added business expanded in a short space of time as the base culture together with the public in cultural aspects is the development of game material which enables more various objects to approach besides the development of material focused on profit. Above all things, it is the easily accessible material through fusion sith the diverse contents by using elements of interaction, function, system which game itself has. In this connection, this study suggested design approach process ti fuse the material of positive function into game and also proposed the development case ay each level.

  • In this paper, the funeral was defined as a culture of death and, on the most important ideological basis, the biological death was not recognized as the end of the world, but as a starting point for another life. Various funeral cultures were investigated and the funeral floral design was analyzed through the case. Based on this, it was concluded that Korea's funeral floral design was an impediment to the development of funeral floral design, similar to the use of limited materials. Storytelling, a communicative concept through the exchange of emotions and opinions, rather than unilaterally conveying a message as an answer, is one of the most effective marketing strategies in the emotional consumption era. Based on this, the target person was selected to analyze life and draw suggestions from his life. Accordingly, the production of the work was attempted by applying storytelling to the funeral floral design. The painting design applied to storytelling expressed the symbol and meaning of the painting design material, and the color and form of the floral design in various forms and colors of pastel line, which are based on peach color that symbolizes the deceased, in a departure from the traditional funeral painting design with the solemn atmosphere of the geometric design centered on the white chrysanthemum material.

The Effect of Motives of Ramie Fabrics on Sensory Image Evaluation (모시 소재의 문양에 따른 감성 이미지 평가)

  • The purpose of the study were to find out (1) the effect of motives on perceiver's image perception on ramie fabrics, and perceiver's trait, age and gender on sensory image evaluation of ramie fabrics. The research was a quasi experiment and experimental materials developed for the study were a set of material stimuli and semantic differential scales to measure sensory image of the stimuli, an aesthetic value scale. the independent design was motif design techniques(Plain Weave, burnt-out, embroidery, stripe, check). The subjects were 421 adults in Daejeon and Seachun. The results was as follows: The factor analysis of semantic differential scales for the ramie materials emerged 4 different image dimensions: attractiveness, hand, elegance, weight). The five design techniques showed significantly different image affects on some selective dimensions. The burn-out design gave the most attractive image, the embroidery design gave the softest image and plain weaved fabric presented the lightest hand image. Consumer's aesthetic values, gender and age tended to affect sensory image evaluation of ramie materials. On conclusion the result revealed that design strategy for the ramie material, design development though motives will be an essential process. and for material design pursued design image and target consumer's trait should be carefully considered.

  • Carbon fiber frames are actively developed for developing carbon fiber frames as the material of the next generation of bicycle frames, and are currently being developed with carbon fiber frames, hardness, shock absorption, light intensity, and strength. The carbon fiber bike models require a premium, differentiated design concept, which is essential to the development of a conceptual and differentiated design, requiring the development of essential structural structures, safety and refinement, and more of their own identity. In this study, a personal and unified image was derived from the research of the needs of consumers and image analysis process and then in the practical design work, the road bike bicycle frame design was proposed targeting the frame on the basis of carbon fiber materials.

A Study on the Character Creation of Traditional Incantatory Pattern for Individual Character Industry (Individual Character 산업을 위한 전통 주술 문양의 캐릭터 개발 연구)

  • Each country, each organization and individual have pursued their own identity, which require a unique design discriminated from other countries, cultures and people. As character related industries including character, cartoon, animation and CF appeared everywhere, development of character of mascot concept which can highlight individual personality has been required. This study is to meet these requirements and develop character of Korean subject as the concept of mascot or guard angel in order to develop the unique design with discriminative features from individual identity. For this, this study named it "Individual Character", analyzes the Korean traditional incantatory patterns and develops three patterns such as line art character, five-color 2D character and letter '||'&'||' picture 3D character as a form having individual character with the twelve gods of the earth through examination of materials of traditional patterns home and aborad. These three-typed characters seek strategies by types and are applied to calender, ceramic, metal, animation source, living goods and accessories. Application to commodities include line art and the products of 20 and 3D types based on re-design and add metal, paper, web and ceramic. Therefore this study finds that "Individual Character' using traditional incantatory patterns can discover the cultural identity and originality through Korean design creation and application of "Individual Character" to character industry can develop the pluralistic characters with a material and it can be extended to consumption goods.onsumption goods.

  • 우수디자인이라 불리는 굿디자인(GOOD DESIGN)은 산업디자인진흥법에 의거하여 상품의 외관, 기능, 재료, 경제성 등을 종합적으로 심사하여 디자인의 우수성이 인정된 상품에 마크를 부여하는 제도로 1985년부터 매년 시행하고 있다. GD마크 선정제란 우수한 디자인 상품을 선정, 장려함으로써 환경친화적 디자인개발을 유도하고 지속 가능한 녹색성장에 기여하고 상품의 디자인개발을 촉진하고 독창적이고 우수한 상품디자인을 개발, 상품의 경쟁력 강화를 통한 수출증대와 국민경제 발전에 기여하는데 목적이 있다. 또한 상품의 디자인 수준향상으로 국민의 다양한 욕구충족 및 국민생활의 질적 수준을 높이고 디자인에 대한 일반인의 인식 및 관심을 고취시킴으로써 산업디자인 발전을 촉진하는데 주력하고 있다. 굿디자인은 제품디자인, 환경디자인, 소재표면처리디자인, 패션디자인, 포장디자인, 커뮤니케이션디자인, 건축디자인, 패션디자인 부문으로 나누어 선정된다. 본 고에서는 2013년도 우수디자인(GD) 가운데 포장디자인 부문을 살펴보도록 한다.

  • 굿디자인(GOOD DESINE)이란 산업통상자원부가 주최하고 한국디자인진흥원의 주관 아래, 산업디자인진흥법에 의거하여 상품의 외관, 기능, 재료, 경제성 등을 종합적으로 심사하여 디자인의 우수성이 인정된 상품에 GOOD DESINE 마크를 부여하는 제도로 1985년부터 매년 시행해 오고 있다. GD마크 선정제란 우수한 디자인 상품개발을 장려하여 국가 경쟁력을 확보하고 국민 삶의 질 향상에 기여하는 것을 목표로 하고 있으며, 나아가 유니버설디자인, 서비스디자인, 전통시장, 산업단지 디자인을 고도화(우수디자인 선정, 장려 등)함으로써 사회적 문제해결과 지속가능한 창조경제를 실현하는데 그 의의가 있다. 선정 대상 품목으로는 제품디자인, 환경디자인, 소재표면처리디자인, 패션디자인, 포장디자인, 커뮤니케이션디자인, 건축디자인 패션디자인으로 대통령상 1점을 비롯해 국무총리상, 대상, 최우수상 등을 시상하고 있다. 굿디자인 상품은 향후 조달청이 시행하는 우수제품선정 및 물품구매 적격심사 시 우대되며, 중소기업청이 시행하는 수출유망중소기업지정 및 수출기업화 사업평가시 우대받을 수 있다. 마크사용에 있어 호주 디자인상(AIDA)과의 상호인증으로 마크 부착이 가능하다. 본 고에서는 2015년 우수디자인(GD)으로 선정된 제품 가운데 생활 포장 및 산업포장 부문 수상작들과 일부 선정된 제품들을 살펴본다.

Style Types and Design Features of Sneakers using the Knitted Upper (니트 갑피를 활용한 스니커즈의 스타일 유형 및 디자인 특성)

  • This study aims to propose the directions of design strategies and product development by analyzing the style types and design features of sneakers using the knitted upper which has been rapidly increasing due to merits in a variety of aspects including goods, production and marketing aspects. To this end, this study analyzed total 924 style types which had been gaining popularity in online markets and brand products drawing attention in the sneaker market with the knitted upper and their design features. In accordance with the analysis results, uniqueness was identified as the first merit. The unique hybrid style and design of sneakers with the knitted upper have been established without complying with the conventional materials and production techniques. The next merit was multimodality. The sneakers with the knitted upper create multiple images highlighting each feature of colors and materials by mixing those elements in various ways. The third merit was experimentality. The sneakers with the knitted upper have been attempted decisive change of designs by combining more engineering approach and new materials and techniques than existing sneakers. In these days when the sneaker market has been gradually expanded, the analysis results of this study reflecting the industrial trends will provide the fundamental data for a variety of research activities related to shoes and for the direction of brand planning in the relevant industries.

  • In development of liquid-propellant rocket engine, engine gimbaling requires various types of bellows movements and cryogenic insulation is applied with movement-based design and material on each axial and circular bellows. Cryogenic insulation of Bellows for high pressure line and recirculation line are necessary to maintain cryogenic temperature for engien efficiency and protect from heat transfer and radiation of high temperature components during engine gimbaling.
