Microalgae are unicellular microorganisms inhabiting various ecosystems of the world, including marine and freshwater systems and extreme environments. Only a few species have been actively used as food. Microalgae are attracting attention as a means of biological CO2 reduction because they play an important role in absorbing atmospheric CO2 through their rapid growth by photosynthesis in water. Besides, microalgae are considered to be an eco-friendly energy source because they can rapidly produce biomass containing a large quantum of lipids that can be converted into biodiesel. Several microalgae, such as Chlorella spp., Spirulina spp. and Haematococcus spp. have already been commercialized as functional health supplements because they contain diverse nutrients including proteins, vitamins, minerals, and functional substances such as docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), β-glucan, phycocyanin, astaxanthin, etc. Moreover, they have the potential to be used as food materials that can address the protein-energy malnutrition (PEM) which may occur in the future due to population growth. They can be added to various foods in the form of powder or liquid extract for enhancing the quality characteristics of the foods. In this review, we analyzed several microalgae which can be used as food additives and summarized their characteristics and functions that suggest the possibility of a role for microalgae as future food.

Currently, in Korea, large-scale, deep excavations are being carried out adjacent to structures due to overcrowding in urban areas. for adjacent excavations in urban areas, it is very important to ensure the safety of earth retaining structures and underground structures. accordingly, an automated measurement system is being introduced to manage the safety of subway tunnel structures. however, the utilization of automated measurement system results is very low. existing evaluation techniques rely only on the maximum value of measured data, which can overestimate abnormal behavior. accordingly, in this study, a vast amount of automated measurement data was analyzed using the Gaussian probability density function, a technique that can quantitatively evaluate. highly reliable results were derived by applying probabilistic statistical analysis methods to a vast amount of data. therefore, in this study, the safety evaluation of subway tunnel structures due to adjacent excavation work was performed using a technique that can process a large amount of data.

Recently, due to adjacent excavation work such as new buildings and common tunnel expansion concentrated around the urban railway, deformation of the underground box and tunnel structure of the urban railway built underground has occurred, and as a result, repair and reinforcement work is frequently carried. In addition, the subway is responsible for large-scale transportation, so ensuring the safety and drivability of underground structures is very important. Accordingly, an automated measurement system is being introduced to manage the safety of underground box structures. However, there is no analysis of structural damage vulnerabilities caused by subsidence or uplift of underground box structures. In this study, we aim to analyze damage vulnerabilities for safety monitoring of underground box structures. In addition, we intend to analyze major core monitoring locations by modeling underground box structures through numerical analysis. Therefore, we would like to suggest sensor installation locations and damage vulnerable areas for safety monitoring of underground box structures in the future.

Recently, the West's interest on Buddhism has been uprising. If the interest on Buddhism is especially from Western intellectuals, it will surely be the motive to change, the future of Western society. Actually, while the West has been interested in the material civilization on the basis of Christianity, the East has been pursuing after the spiritual culture on the basis of Buddhism. However, what does it mean that many of civilized westerners have come to dislike the manner of scientific pursuit and strict rationality which made them wealthy materially\ulcorner It means that they have felt their ideologies which is based on the Christian culture, has met an end or at least they have started to get interested in the Eastern ideology, 'Buddhism'. Particularly, if we agree that industrial design is a field of basis on the stringent rationality, and is a field of applied science on the basis of technology and production, it surely must have rather been influenced by Christian culture than Buddhism. But regardless of material richness by Christian culture, some Western intellectuals'secession from christianity means that their pursuit of material civilization doesn't help much in chasing after human original happiness. Instead, they are charmed by the fact that their mental illness problem, which is the result of the incessant pursuit of materialism, can be salved more 'scientifically'rather by Buddhism than Christianity. Compared with the westerners'spiritual unhappiness by the strong pursuit of material, Buddhism lowers their passion for material and help to lead their lives happily with least'pursuit of materialism. In this sense, I insist that we need to study'Design'from a viewpoint of Buddhist idea.

This paper attempts to explore how Ang Lee depicts Asian and Western women in his films. We focus on two parts of his consciousness First, Ang Lee does not consider himself a feminist, he understands the world in terms of women who play societal roles. Second, Ang Lee's films reflect his identity in a juxtaposition model, in which he is a member of mainstream American society and also holds an onlooker's viewpoint at the same time. He depicts women, who are often marginalized or considered the minority, and their feminist ideals, as means that break down the authority of the father and the man, the traditional ideology, and the male dominant nationalism. Chinese women in movies divide apart traditional Chinese patriarchal ideology and male-dominated anti-Japanese sentiments. Also, the Western women in his films reveal the non-stereotypical appearance of Western society in the 1970s and 1980s, with daily tension, anxiety, abdominal pain and anger, silence and anxiety about homosexual husbands, and excessive obsession. The director's portrayal of women not only separates the male-centered and Western-centered discourse, but also reveals a self-division of internalized masculine patriarchal Asian thought consciousness.

This article is to investigate into the philosophical background and the applicability of the humanities programmes effectively to practice them, not to educate the religious doctrines, based on the traditional-cultural resources in the education center affiliated with the religious institution. These humanities programmes can be understood on the lifelong education associated with a person. In the light of common curriculum practising in the existing education center, contents of those programmes are reviewed with classifying the humanities programmes into 3 parts, that is, eastern classical language education, eastern classical education, and eastern traditional prognosticating arts branching off from the eastern philosophy. Eastern classical language education indicates the classical Chinese characters and literatures in the context of our historical tradition. Eastern classical education implies the education which can acquire classical literatures in a modern way, as a accumulation of knowledges having been in charge of a person's lifelong education, and as a entity responsible for making a person to bring to maturity of his character by comprehending the life of human being and the world in pre-modern, Finally, the eastern philosophy is chosen for the reason that have the very interesting contents which can report facts that recover the integral relationship between nature and human being lacking in contemporaries, and instead of rejecting to interpret human being excessively in terms of materialism, is a significant one endowed with the mission which should develop his potentials through the his lifelong. Especially, eastern traditional prognosticating arts are selected that people has considered with them so kindly, and are the knowledges forming the cores of national culture. It may be a very important that attempts to develop the humanities programmes practising in the education center affiliated with the religious institution are not only the demands of the times in our days, but also a new teaching way replacing with old fashioned teachings.

In this study, the structural stability of the railway level crossing system using rubber panel for high speed lines was investigated by applying the specification for wind load conditions (Train gust) of high speed train (300km/h and 360km/h). A finite element analysis using three-dimensional modeling was carried out by applying the field conditions that was installed with the complicated configuration of the rubber plate panel system. As a result of this study, the structural stability of the rubber plate panel system for high speed train gust was analytically verified.

Rail corrugation is continuously increasing due to the lack of maintenance regulations for the amount of rail irregularities. Rail corrugation is causing various problems, such as a decrease in ride comfort and an increase in the amount of track maintenance. In this paper, the effect of rail corrugation on the track force was analyzed by measuring the rail irregularities before and after rail grinding and the track measurements (dynamic wheel load, displacement, and acceleration) for the section where the rail corrugation occurred. In addition, it was experimentally proven that the rail grinding performed to reduce the corrugation of the rail was very effective in reducing the additional forces on the track.

본 연구는 회화문화재 속에 표현된 다양한 종류의 객체를 검출할 수 있는 딥러닝 모델생성을 위해 필요한 학습용 이미지 데이터셋 구축방안을 제안한다. 먼저 기존 동양화 기반의 회화문화재 이미지 데이터 및 객체 특징 분석을 진행하였고, 이를 바탕으로 Natural image에 Pose transfer 및 Style transfer를 적용한 새로운 방식의 회화문화재 이미지 데이터 생성 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 프레임워크를 통해 기존 문화재 분야에서 가지고 있던 제한된 데이터 구축문제를 극복하고, 검출모델 생성을 위한 대용량의 학습데이터 구축 가능성을 제시하였다.

The historical drama played on TV in 2003, Daejanggeum is originally based on the short historical record of lady doctor of the palace from the [Jungjong record] of Josun. The drama mixed fiction and historic record well together draw enormous interest and became a novel, musical and animation for children. Also the location of shooting drama became a theme park to attract travelers and the name 'Daejanggeum' was used for products to create great additional value. Most of all, the drama then was exported to overseas and became the representing drama of Korea. Therefore, drama is the representing piece that proved the success of historic data with its application as various modern cultural contents. The analysis of success reason of showed the creation of new modern woman character, fresh selection of the item that suits well in the time of desiring wellbeing, the strong drama scenario with different story development compared to previous historic drama. Also, it used 'one source multi use' method prior to the broadcasting and prepared production of various cultural contents. This success of Daejanggeum means a lot from the point of 'modern acceptance of tradition' to tradition researchers.
