A Calculus of Real-Time Distribution, Mobility and Interaction for Tracing Mobile Agents with Transporting Objects (객체전송 이동체의 추적을 위한 실시간 분산, 이동, 상호작용)

  • GPS/GIS and RFID technologies have been changing the paradigm af our society toward ubiquitous era. Especially, geographically distributed mobile agents with transporting objects need to be automatically recognizable and traceable under certain conditions. To do this, fundamental theories and technologies are required to specify and verify spatial and temporal behaviors of agents on geographical space. This paper presents a new formal method, called Calculus of Real-Time Distribution, Mobility, and Interaction (CaRDMI), for this purpose. For specification, CaRDMI defines a map, mobile agents with transporting objects. The movement of on agent is represented by a path on the map, consisting of a list of nodes and a list of edges with spatial and temporal constraints. Interactive constraints among agents are represented by synchronization modes on objects at nodes. These constraints are distinguishable features of CaRDMI from other methods. Especially, many-to-many timed synchronization constraints are noticeable. For verification, CaRDMI presents the spatial, temporal and interactive deduction rules and the spatial and temporal equivalence relations.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide a virtual CG - based image production system for a simulator camera. The video production system proposed in this study is designed to synchronize the virtual camera of the graphic tool with the simulator camera at the shooting site and the CG application image editing, And can be easily and easily performed through a graphic tool by being controlled virtually through a control interface. Blaze Knights, an animation created by Dongseo University, was used to illustrate the superiority of the research results by comparing the progress and the amount of work before and after the application of the system. According to the results of the research, the CG artist's work efficiency is increased, while the physical constraint is minimized when the scene of the CG application image is minimized. It is possible to produce various scenes and minimize the re- We expect the contribution to the industry to be high.

  • Recently, as digital broadcasting and internet are spreaded out of the world, we can easily use informations with less restrictions of time and space. According to the current trends, concerns for the ways of representing multimedia data has been rapidly increased, and users demand the services with integrated document that takes not only simple text and image but also time varying audio-visual data. Therefore, in 1998, W3C presented an international standard, SMIL in order to solve multimedia object representation and synchronization problems. By using SMIL, various multimedia elements can be integrated as a multimedia document with proper view in a space and time. Using this SMIL document, we can create new internet radio broadcasting service that delivers not only audio data but also various text, image and video. In this paper, we describe on a SMIL document editor for the common users to be able to represent time varying multimedia data with special layout and synchronization of time and space.

  • 최근 가상현실 및 증강현실 기술을 응용한 콘텐츠 개발이 활발하다. 증강현실 기술은 가상현실 기술과 다르게 현실세계와 컴퓨터 그래픽과의 융합을 토대로 개발된다. 때문에 증강현실은 현실감, 몰입감을 극대화 하는 방향으로 개발되고 있다. 그러나 현실과 컴퓨터 그래픽은 서로 다른 차원에 존재한다. 이를 해결하기 위해 마커검출 기법과 오차를 미리 계산해 출력 전에 반영해주는 방식이 제시되었지만 이는 사용자의 자유도 향상과 공간적인 제약을 최소화하기에 부담이 크다. 본 논문에서는 캘리브레이션을 통한 증강현실 구현결과로서 사용자의 관절 정보를 증강현실 내 캐릭터의 관절과 맵핑한다. 이는 사용자의 움직임을 캐릭터와 동기화함으로써 증강현실의 자유도와 몰입도를 향상시켰다. 제안된 증강현실 시스템은 사용자의 생활에 적용될 수 있는 범위가 넓어지고 사용자의 편의를 향상시킬 수 있는 가능성이 높였다.

  • The Internet of Things refers to a space-of-things connection network configured to allow things with built-in sensors and communication functions to interact with people and other things, regardless of the restriction of place or time.IoT is a network developed for the purpose of services for human convenience, but the scope of its use is expanding across industries such as power transmission, energy management, and factory automation. However, the communication protocol of IoT, MQTT, is a lightweight message transmission protocol based on the push technology and has a security vulnerability, and this suggests that there are risks such as personal information infringement or industrial information leakage. To solve this problem, we designed a synchronous MQTT security channel that creates a secure channel by using the characteristic that different chaotic dynamical systems are synchronized with arbitrary values in the lightweight message transmission MQTT protocol. The communication channel we designed is a method of transmitting information to the noise channel by using characteristics such as random number similarity of chaotic signals, sensitivity to initial value, and reproducibility of signals. The encryption method synchronized with the proposed key value is a method optimized for the lightweight message transmission protocol, and if applied to the MQTT of IoT, it is believed to be effective in creating a secure channel.

  • With the increase of various user's requirements, lots of interesting applications on the Internet have been emerging recently. However, Internet has many limitations for providing upcoming new services because it was only designed to provide basic connectivity between research networks and simplified forwarding functions at the first time. Internet has many problems in the aspects of routing scalability, mobility, security and QoS, so lots of researches are being actively performed in many countries to solve these problems. In this paper, we implement RED(Random Early Detection) scheduler using NetFPGA platform and local testbed to provide active queue management. Using the implemented RED scheduler, packets are dropped according to the specified drop probability, so Global Synchronization coming from simultaneous TCP segment losses in a congestion condition can be prevented. With the comparison to the Drop-Tail scheme in the basic router, we show TCP performance can be enhanced in the congestion situation using the NetFPGA-based RED scheduler.

A Real-Time Scheduling Technique on Multi-Core Systems for Multimedia Multi-Streaming (다중 멀티미디어 스트리밍을 위한 멀티코어 시스템 기반의 실시간 스케줄링 기법)

  • Recently, multi-core processors have been drawing significant interest from the embedded systems research and industry communities due mainly to their potential for achieving high performance and fault-tolerance at low cost in such products as automobiles and cell phones. To process multimedia data, a scheduling algorithm is required to meet timing constraints of periodic tasks in the system. Though Pfair scheduling algorithm can meet all the timing constraints while achieving 100% utilization on multi-core based system theoretically, however, the algorithm incurs high scheduling overheads including frequent core migrations and system-wide synchronizations. To mitigate the problems, we propose a real-time scheduling algorithm for multi-core based system so that system-wide scheduling is performed only when it is absolutely necessary. Otherwise the proposed algorithm performs scheduling within each core independently. The experimental results by extensive simulations show that the proposed algorithm dramatically reduces the scheduling overheads up to as negligible one when the utilization is under 80%.

  • The performance of data transmission from mobile devices to cloud storages is limited by the amount of data being transferred, communication speed and battery consumption of mobile devices. Especially, when the large-scale data communication takes place using mobile devices, such as smart phones, the performance turbulence and power consumption become an obstacle to establish the reliable communication environment. In this paper, we present an efficient data transmission method using USB Hijacking. In our approach, the synchronization to transfer a large amount of data between mobile devices and user PC is executed by using USB Hijacking. Also, there is no need to concern about data capacity and battery consumption in the data communication. We presented several experimental results to verify the effectiveness and suitability of our approach.

FPGA Implementation of Doppler Invarient Low Power BFSK Receiver Using CORDIC (CORDIC을 이용한 도플러 불변 저전력 BFSK 수신기의 FPGA구현)

  • This paper is to design and implement a low power noncoherent BFSK receiver intended for future deep space communication using Xilinx System generator. The receiver incorporates a 16 point Fast Fourier Transform(FFT) for symbol detection. The design units of the receiver are digital design for better efficiency and reliability. The receiver functions on one bit data processing and supports main data rate 10kbps. In addition CORDIC algorithm is used for avoiding complex multiplications while computing FFT and multiplication of twiddle factor for low power is substituted by rotators. The design and simulation of the receiver is carried out in Simulink then the Simulink model is translated to the hardware model to implement FPGA using Xilinx System Generator and to verify performance.

군 장병의 개인특성과 기업가정신이 창업의지에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 : 군 창업동아리 활동을 중심으로

  • 최근 우리 사회는 코로나 19(COVID 19)와 4차 산업혁명으로 인한 노동시장의 불안과 더불어 매년 증가하고 있는 청년실업의 해결책으로 청년창업에 관심이 집중되고 있고, 창업지원 정책 또한 다양하게 시행하고 있다. 이와 관련 군에서도 일과 후 자기 개발을 통한 생산적 군 복무로 부대 전투력 극대화와 개인의 경력 단절 최소화를 위한 일환으로 2018년 부터 '청년 Dream, 국군 드림' 이라는 역점 사업을 추진 중에 있다. Dream의 알파벳중 'Ⓡ 창·취업 기회 제공(Raising Job Opportunities)'의 경우 2020년 3월 기준 육군은 약 870여개의 창업동아리를 운영하고 있다. 하지만 군부대의 특성상 전투임무 수행에 우선순위가 있다보니 창업동아리를 능동적으로 운영하기에는 여러 가지 제약사항이 있으며, 군 창업동아리와 관련된 선행연구 또한 미천한 수준에 머무르고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 군 창업동아리 활동 장병 200명을 대상으로 '군 장병의 개인 특성(성취욕구, 자기효능감, 동기부여)과 기업가정신(혁신성, 진취성, 위험감수성)이 창업의지에 미치는 영향'을 분석해 보는데 있다. 이를 통해 군 장병을 대상으로 하는 군 창업동아리 활동이 지속적으로 운영 될 수 있는 방안을 모색해 보고, 실질적인 교육지원 방향을 제시하는 등 군 조직 역량 강화와 개인 발전, 그리고 군 창업동아리 활성화 방안에 대해 논의해 보고자 한다.
