  • In this paper, The TE (Transverse Electric) scattering problems by a perfectly conducting strip grating over a grounded two dielectric layers are analyzed by applying the conductive boundary condition and the FGMM (Fourier-Galerkin Moment Method) known as a numerical procedure, then the induced surface current density is expanded in a series of the multiplication of the unknown coefficient and the exponential function as a simple function. Generally, the reflected power gets increased according as the relative permittivity ${\epsilon}_{r2}$ and the thickness of dielectric layer $t_2$ of the region-2 in the presented structure gets increased, respectively. The sharp variations of the reflected power are due to resonance effects were previously called wood's anomaly, the numerical results show in good agreement with those of the existing papers.

  • Safrolechitosan (SaCs) and eugenolchitosan (EuCs) were synthesized and characterized to increase water solubility and functionality of chitosan. Product impurities were removed by Soxhlet apparatus using methanol to obtain final product with high purity. Using Ubbelohde viscometer, molecular weights of chitosan, EuCs, and SaCs were determined as $1.2{\times}10^{5}\;Da,\;7.8{\times}10^{5},\;and\;7.5{\times}10^{5}\;Da,\;respectively$. IR spectrum of SaCs revealed chemical shift of amide II band ($1,553cm^{-1}$) of chitosan grafted by safrole caused by generation of covalent bond between primary amino of chitosan and double bond of safrole. Due to graft reaction of safrole onto chitosan, vinyl bands ($1,611\;and\;1,442cm^{-1}$) of safrole disappeared. In graft reaction of eugenol onto chitosan, shift of amide II band ($1,553cm^{-1}$) and disappearance of vinyl band were observed. On $^{1}H-NMR$ spectrum of EuCs, $H_{2}C=CH-$ peak in eugenol (monomer) disappeared, whereas $-H_{2}C-CH_{2}-$ peak appeared. Above results indicate safrole and eugenol were successfully grafted onto chitosan.

  • In this paper, electromagnetic scattering by a perfectly conducting strip grating on dielectric multilayers is analyzed for the normalized reflected and transmitted power by applying the Fourier-Galeakin moment method. The induced current density is expanded in a series of multiplication of chebyshev polynomials of the first kind and functions with appropriate edge boundary condition, the continuous condition of electromagnetic field is applied in the boundary planes. The confirm the validity of the proposed method, the nor- malized reflected and transmitted power obtained by varying the relative permittivity and thickness of each dielectric layers are evaluated and compared with those of the existing numerical method and a paper, and then the numerical results in this paper are in good agreement with those of the existing numerical method and the paper. The sharp variation position in the geometrically normalized reflected and transmitted power can be moved by the incident angle, grating period, and the relative permittivity and thickness of the dielectric multilayers, these sharp variation points which are called the Wood's anomaly of the Geome- trically normalized reflected power are observed as a main factor when the reflected powers of the higher order mode are transitted between propagating and evanescent modes, and the local minimum positions are slightly moved to the left hand direction in which grating period is getting small according to the increase of the relative permittivity of dielectric layers.

  • In this paper, TE(transverse electric) scattering problems by a resistive strip grating over grounded dielectric multilayers according to the strip width and grating period, the relative permittivity and thickness of dielectric multilayers, and incident angles of a TE plane wave are analyzed by applying the FGMM(Fourier-Galerkin Moment Method) known as a numerical procedure. The induced surface current density is simply expanded in a Fourier series by using the exponential function as a simple function. Generally, the relected power gets increased according as the relative permittivity and thickness of dielectric multilayers gets increased, the sharp variations of the reflected power are due to resonance effects that take place and were previously called wood's anomallies$^{[7]}$. To verify the validity of the proposed method, the numerical results of normalized reflected power for the uniform resistivity R = 0 as a conductive strip case show in good agreement with those in the existing paper.

  • Based on fully self-consistent dynamical mean field theory (DMFT) method, we investigate electronic structure and Fermi surface nesting property of LiFeAs and NaFeAs, focusing on the correlation effect of iron 3d orbital. For LiFeAs, good nesting property by density functional theory (DFT) method is much suppressed by DFT+DMFT method due to the orbital-dependent renormalization magnitude. NaFeAs shows a similar behavior, but a better nesting is obtained than LiFeAs from DFT+DMFT Fermi surfaces. Our result is consistent with the observed superconducting (spin density wave) ground state of LiFeAs (NaFeAs).

  • This study investigated electrical properties and far-infrared ray emission according to the carbonizing temperature and phenol-formaldehyde (PF) resin impregnation ratio of ceramics manufactured using sawdust and rice husk. The far-infrared ray emission values and emission energy values decreased as the carbonizing temperature increased. The far-infrared ray emission values of the ceramics manufactured using a carbonizing process at $600^{\circ}C$ and a board with a PF resin impregnation ratio of 60 percent was 0.930; the emission energy presented the highest value of $4.32{\times}10w/m^2$. The electric resistance decreased as the carbonizing temperature increased. For the increase in the carbonizing temperature above $1200^{\circ}C$, ceramics was very close to a conductor due to the small resistance. The power consumption increased by the decrease of electric resistance and increase of the electric current in the case of a higher resin impregnation ratio.

  • Selenized yeast (Se yeast) containing $0.1{\%}$(w/w) of selenium was obtained when the yeast was incubated at a selenium concentration of 1$1.14{\times}10_-3 M$ in rich medium. After washing several times, the inorganic selenium on the cell wall was confirmed with MBRT. There was no indication of inorganic selenium on the cell wall when the blue color in MBRT was stayed for 15 minutes. The selenized yeast was sonicated, then the selenium contained protein was obtained after salting out by ammonium sulfate at the concentration $80{\%}$ saturation. The seven protein bands were seperated by SDS-PAGE and the selenium concentration in protein was measured by ICP-AES. Analytical data showed that the large expressed protein band contained a relatively large amount of selenium. The proteins of the 47kDa was contained the concentrations of 69.5 ${\mu}$ Se/g of most many content. The protein (47 kDa) was seperated from PVDF membrane by tank-electroblotting. The isolated protein was hydrolyzed under acid condition and reacted with PITC. The derivatives of amino acids were analyzed by HPLC and compared with the data obtained from regular yeast. The resulting selenium-yeast was analyzed with the selenomethionine concentration of $2{\%}$ comparaed with general amino acids. The goal of this study is to analyze the selenium concentration in protein bands and measure the degree of biotransformation of selenomethionine in a specific protein.
