T'oegye placed great emphasis on the cultivation of quiet-sitting. His idea of quiet-sitting, like Zhu Xi's, had various therapeutic effects as well. This can be highlighted as a real-life practice and a diverse application of the "abiding by Gyong" that he stressed; it is also associated with the treatment of physical diseases, composure in the mind, the benefits of reading, meditation in solitude, and many other areas. And We can easily infer that T'oegye would have set some premises before referring to Hualin Simbang. First, he would have been wary of quiet-sitting being the goal of cultivation: Too much obsession with and emphasis on Toinsul would actually obstruct the practice of "abiding by Gyong" and mislead one's effort for the "preservation and nourishment of the mind" and "reflection and examination." T'oegye would have probably used the physical and breathing exercises in Hualyin Simbang mainly as a reference to treat his physical illnesses. Also, his Toinsul would have been employed independently and partially as a sort of supplementary practice-without being used in parallel with quiet-sitting as one of the methods to achieve reverent seriousness.

Toinsul consists of breathing method and exercising method by stimulation of acupuncture point and meridian. It activates the circulation of energy and blood and helps excretion of noxious vapor and it improves elasticity and vitality of muscles, tendon md ligament. It sharpens both secretion of synovia .and circulation around joints and also controls the whole body through meridian. This report introduces some about the exercise methods for treatment of lumbago and shoulder joint diseases among medical, surgical and gynecological diseases. It can be used for health care, treatment, relaxation muscles and recovery from fatigue in an aspect of prevention. It has been widely used for treatment of diseases and promotion of health so far even though it is not yet demonstrated scientifically. Therefore, it should be used mere efficiently as an important part of the oriental physical therapy.

본 연구는 핵심기본간호술 학습경험과 중요도인식, 학습 자기효능감이 수행자신감에 미치는 영향을 파악하여 핵심기본간호술 수행능력 향상을 위한 학습전략 마련의 기초자료로 활용하고자 D지역 소재 일개대학 간호학과에 재학중인 학생 231명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 본 연구결과 학습경험은 학년에 따라, 학습 자기효능감과 수행자신감은 전공만족도와 실습만족도에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었다. 핵심기본간호술 학습경험과 수행자신감, 학습 자기효능감과 수행자신감에서 긍정적 상관관계, 수행자신감에 영향을 미치는 요인은 학습 자기효능감과 학습경험순으로 나타났다. 따라서 핵심기본간호술 수행자신감을 향상시키기 위한 교육전략 수립 시 학습 자기효능감을 강화시키고, 학습경험을 증가시키는 방안이 필요하다.

동국대 RIS사업단(단장 이의수)과 월간PT(발행인 김용찬)는 지난 11월 15일 인쇄정보센터 7층 강당에서 친환경인쇄기술과 적용사례를 중심으로 제3회 친환경인쇄세미나를 개최했다. 세미나는 대한잉크(주), 일진PMS(주), 한국아그파산업(주), (주)한국필름, 토레이, 한솔제지(주), 한영문화사협찬과 지식경제부, 대한인쇄기술협회, 경기도인쇄기술협회 후원으로 진행됐다. 이날 세미나에는 최근 친환경인쇄에 대한 관심이 높아진 것을 반영하듯 150여명의 인쇄인들이 참가해 성황을 이뤘다. 본지에서는 세미나 내용 일부를 요약 소개한다.

Children need regularly dental check-ups after dental treatment because there are a lot of changes of oral conditions such as tooth exfoliation and eruption, occlusion, and recurrence of dental caries. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that affect the follow-up pattern after dental treatment under conscious sedation. Patients who were treated under sedation at the department of pediatric dentistry of Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital from 2009 to 2013 were included in this study. The final samples comprised of 562 patients that were classified into 4 groups according to the number of visits during 3 years. The chi-square test was used to determine the factors affecting regular follow-up. There were statistically significant differences between each treatment groups and factors such as the change of doctor, overall treatment time, the number of treated teeth under sedation, restorative treatment, minor operation, and preventive treatment (p < 0.05). This study identified factors that affect regular follow-up after dental treatment under conscious sedation. It is recommended to educate the importance of regular check-ups to parents who are less likely to return.

아열대 해양성 기후로 변화하고 있는 다우지역인 제주도는 각종개발 등 도시화로 인한 불투수층 증가가 급증하고 있으며 기후 변동에 의한 강우량은 더욱 늘어 홍수 피해가 빈번히 발생하고 있어 저영향개발기법(LID, Low Impact Development)을 통한 빗물을 지하로 침투시켜 지하수 보호 및 확보와 동시에 재해 저감을 할 수 있는 기술개발이 시급한 실정이다. 현재 설치된 재해저감방식 중 침투트렌치에 의한 침투방식은 제주도의 보전자원인 화산석인 현무암을 주 재료로 하고 있어 2차환경 파괴를 야기 시키고 있지만 암을 보전하고 대처할 수 있는 신재료와 신기술 관련 침투방식의 성능 극대화에 대한 연구가 미진하며, 지하수를 주 수원으로 하고 있는 제주도에서 초기 강우 배제 없이 침투시킬 경우 지하수 오염 가능성도 상존하고 있다. 본 연구는 지하수의 제주형 인공함양정과 재해영향평가 지침에서 제시한 암을 충진하는 정형화된 침투식 방법을 개선하여 초기 강우의 수질오염을 억제하면서 지하수 인공함양과 재해저감을 위해 침투와 저류를 동시에 할 수 있는 신기술을 상용화와 침투형 저류지의 설치 초기비용 및 유지비용을 절감하고 부지확보에 따른 사업자의 부담을 경감 할 수 있는 침투트렌치 형식의 침투저류시스템을 개발하여 실용화하는데 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 제주도인 경우 일시적 높은 첨두유량으로 인해 지표유실 및 침수범람이 빈번하게 발생하고 도시화에 따른 포장면적 증가로 지표수 유실이 증대 되는 점을 감안하여 이를 저감하기 위한 첨두유량의 해결방안으로 저류용 침투저류조 내 유입수의 신속한 침투기능과 지하수 함양 증대에 기여 등 제주형 집중호우 대비 침투저류조 설치에 따른 효과 및 적용 가능성을 조사하였다.

This study is a descriptive survey research conducted to examine the influence of learning efficacy on nursing students' self-confidence. Research subjects included a total of 231 university students in D city, and the data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression. The study results were as follows: Learning experience was high in the order of vital sign check, intramuscular injection, and subcutaneous injection. Recognition of importance was also high in the order of vein therapy, intramuscular injection, and vital sign check. Self-confidence was high in the order of vital sign check and wearing of protective equipment. As for the learning experience, there were significant differences depending on the students' school year. As for the correlation among all variants, 'learning experience of nursing skills', 'self-confidence', 'learning self-efficacy', and 'self-efficacy' had a positive correlation with each other. Based on these study results, it is necessary to develop an educational strategy that ensures students' education of self-efficacy and improvement of their learning experience to enhance their self-confidence.
