Vehicle localization in GPS signal unavailability area using weakly coupled IMU and GPS (관성 센서와 GPS 약결합을 통한 GPS 음영지역에서 차량 위치 추정)

  • 차량의 무인화에 대한 관심이 증대하면서 자율 주행 문제의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 현재 전역적인 차량 위치는 GPS에 도움을 받고 있지만 도심 고층 빌딩 밀집 지역에서 GPS 신호가 불안해지는 멀티 패스 페이딩 현상에 대한 대안 및 터널을 통과할 때 GPS 신호가 단절되는 구간에 대한 대안이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 MEMS 기반의 관성 센서를 제작하고 이를 이용하여 차량의 주행 모드를 자동으로 판별한 뒤 각 상황에 알맞은 칼만 필터를 설계하여 차량 위치를 파악하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안한 알고리즘은 실제 임베디드 시스템에 이식되어 10Hz로 동작함을 확인하였고 GPS 음영 지역에서 3분 이내에는 GPS 오차 범위 내에서 차량 위치를 파악할 수 있음을 실험을 통해 확인하였다.

  • 국제 환경규제가 강화되어짐에 따라 초저공해 자동차인 ULEV 및 무공해 자동차인 ZEV의 개 발을 필수적이다. 캘리포니아주법규에 따르면 Maker의 NMOG(non meth-ane organic gas) 평 균치를 만족한다 하더라도 ZEV의 판매는 의무화되어 있다. 1989-1993 MY 기간중 연평균 판매 대수가 35,000대 이상인 Mater는 1998년 2% 적용대상이 되며, 2003년부터는 연간 3,000대 이상 판매되는 모든 Maker에 ZEV 10%가 적용된다. 이와 관련 2003년 이후 하이브리드 전기자동차 및 전기자동차의 개발은 나머지 75%(ULEV를 포함할 경우 25%)의 IC엔진이 탑재된 자동차를 판매하기 위해서 이루어지지 않으면 안되게 되어 있다. 하이브리드 자동차는 전기자동차와는 달리 주행거리에 제한을 받지 않으며, 엔진의 효율이 가장 좋은 RPM에서 발전기를 회전시킴으 로써 생성된 에너지를 배터리에 충전, 도심지에서 전기자동차 모드(mode)로 주행하기 때문에 대도시의 대기오염을 줄일 수 있고, 소음이 극히 적기 때문에 미래의 도시형 자동차로서 각광 받을 수 있는 자동차로 생각된다.

  • Global primary energy demand is projected to increase by 1.7% per year from 2000 to 2030. Almost three-quaters of the increase in demand will come from the transportation sector. Fuel cell hybrid vehicle technology has the potential to significantly reduce energy and harmful emissions, as well as our dependence on foreign oil. In this paper, a systematic and logical methodology is developed and improved mainly to design light duty fuel cell hybrid electric vehicle. We investigated structure and characteristics of light duty FC hybrid vehicle carefully. It can easily be expanded to analyze vehicle-to-grid power connectable plug-in NeHEV. A fuel cell hybrid neighbourhood electric vehicle configuration has been studied in-depth utilizing the proposed methodology.

  • 본 연구에서는 비대칭 박벽단면을 갖는 곡선보의 안정성해석을 수행할 수 있는 이론 및 엄밀해를 제시하기 위하여, 3차원 연속체로부터 유도된 평형방정식으로부터 선형화된 가상일의 원리를 적용하였다. 박벽단면의 구속된 ?(warping)과 곡률효과를 고려하고 유한한 회전각의 2차항을 포함하는 곡선보의 변위장을 도입하여 단면에 대해 적분함으로써 도심축에 대한 박벽 곡선보의 총포텐셜에너지를 유도하였다. 또한, 단순지지되고 일축대칭 단면을 갖는 박벽원형 곡선보의 면내 및 면외좌굴에 대한 엄밀해를 유도하기 위하여, 면내에 대해서는 균일압축을 받는 원형아치의 역대칭 좌굴모드에 대한 좌굴하중을 유도하고 면외좌굴에 대해서는 균일압축 및 순수휨을 받는 아치의 처짐함수를 가정하여 곡선보의 횡좌굴하중에 대한 일반해를 제시하였다.

  • 본 논문은 EV(Electric Vehicle) 자동차에 사용되는 배터리의 충/방전 전류에 따른 SOC (State of Charge) 및 전압특성을 시뮬레이션으로 구현 및 검증하기 위하여, 양방향 DC-DC 컨버터를 설계 및 구현을 하였다. 실험을 통해 EV 자동차의 도심 주행 모드(FTP-75) 충/방전 전류 패턴을 재현 하였다. 제어기법으로는 PI전류 제어를 사용 하였으며, 배터리 전류 리플을 최소화하기 위하여 L-C-L필터를 사용 하였다.

  • 차량 애드 혹 네트워크는 도심 교차로에서 도로의 특성과 차량의 높은 이동성으로 인해 네트워크의 단절이 자주 일어난다. 향상된 지리기반 라우팅 프로토콜인 GBSR(Greedy Border Superiority Routing)은 V2V(Vehicle-to-Vehicle)에 적합하다. 그러나 탐욕모드에서 stale노드가 로컬최대에 직면하는 문제를 가지고 있다. EGBSR(Enhanced GBSR)은 반대 방향의 차량과 같은 방향의 차량에게 보내는 비콘 메시지와 도로 정보를 관리하는 테이블을 이용하여 경로를 탐색하고 설정된 경로를 통해 패킷을 보낸다. 이를 통해 소스노드가 목적지노드에 빠르고 안전하게 패킷을 전달할 수 있는 양방향 라우팅 기법 제안한다.

Analysis of Relationships between Features Extracted from SAR Data and Land-cover Classes (SAR 자료에서 추출한 특징들과 토지 피복 항목 사이의 연관성 분석)

  • This paper analyzed relationships between various features from SAR data with multiple acquisition dates and mode (frequency, polarization and incidence angles), and land-cover classes. Two typical types of features were extracted by considering acquisition conditions of currently available SAR data. First, coherence, temporal variability and principal component transform-based features were extracted from multi-temporal and single mode SAR data. C-band ERS-1/2, ENVISAT ASAR and Radarsat-1, and L-band JERS-1 SAR data were used for those features and different characteristics of different SAR sensor data were discussed in terms of land-cover discrimination capability. Overall, tandem coherence showed the best discrimination capability among various features. Long-term coherence from C-band SAR data provided a useful information on the discrimination of urban areas from other classes. Paddy fields showed the highest temporal variability values in all SAR sensor data. Features from principal component transform contained particular information relevant to specific land-cover class. As features for multiple mode SAR data acquired at similar dates, polarization ratio and multi-channel variability were also considered. VH/VV polarization ratio was a useful feature for the discrimination of forest and dry fields in which the distributions of coherence and temporal variability were significantly overlapped. It would be expected that the case study results could be useful information on improvement of classification accuracy in land-cover classification with SAR data, provided that the main findings of this paper would be confirmed by extensive case studies based on multi-temporal SAR data with various modes and ground-based SAR experiments.

  • There are several types of environment friendly vehicle being developed by auto manufactures. HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle) is most applicable one among them in actuality. HEV has two power sources, one is an internal combustion engine, the other one is an electric device. The HEV is developed for reducing fuel consumption and emissions. We selected the diesel engine as a main power source of HEV. The tests were carried out under different driving cycles which was CBDBUS (Central Business Driving Bus Schedule) and HWFET (Highway Fuel Economy Test). This research presents a simulation for the fuel economy and the emission of heavy diesel hybrid vehicle according to the SHEV (Serial Hybrid Electric Vehicle), PHEV (Parallel Hybrid Electric Vehicle), Plug-in SHEV and plug-in PHEV.

  • EVs manufacturers typically target a range of 300 km on a fully charged battery. Many studies have been conducted to improve these disadvantages. As a results, the mileage of EVs is expected to increase significantly. However, as the distance traveled by EVs increases, current test method (SCT) have many difficulties. The biggest problem is that it takes a lot of time to test an EVs and greatly increases the error rate during the test period. In order to solve these problems, this paper discusses the fuel economy test method of EVs for energy efficiency and mileage. The comparison of test methods was achieved by chassis dynamometer test about EVs. These review of test methods are intended to both improve testing efficiency and provide a practical testing methodology that can be easily adapted to accommodate future testing enhancements. In conclusion, the results of MCT mode and SCT mode comparison show similar results within 3 %, confirming that the test method is appropriate. Also, as the CSCM distance becomes shorter in the MCT mode, the mileage becomes longer and the fuel economy becomes lower. As a result, the error from the SCT test results is expected to increase. In order to minimize the error of SCT measurement fuel economy, it is recommended to maximize the CSCM driving distance. However, since the timing of the EOT is not clearly known, it is reasonable to define the allowable range of the CSCE to be within 20 % of the MCT total mileage.

A Study on the Emission Characteristics of Greenhouse Gas by Cumulative Mileage of Gasoline Vehicle (가솔린 차량의 누적주행거리에 따른 온실가스 배출특성 연구)

  • An automobile is composed of a combination of a lot of parts, and it is difficult to maintain the same performance from a new car until it's scrapped. Greenhouse gases included in automobile emissions are typically carbon dioxide and methane. It is expected that this greenhouse gas will change depending on the aging (cumulative mileage) of the automobile However, the greenhouse gas characteristics by cumulative mileage lack of actual data due to time and economic difficulties. Therefore, in this paper, we selected automobile with high sales by displacement in korea and carbon dioxide and methane were measured by using method of the related law. The cumulative mileage is as follows; within 160 km (Statutory mileage by 2010), 6500 km (current statutory mileage), 15000 km (approximately 1-year average mileage of Non-business passenger vehicle). As a result of the test, the emission of carbon dioxide and methane was the smallest at 6,500 km, and increased in order of 15000 km, within 160 km. Also, it was confirmed that the $CO_2$ emission change of a large displacement automobile is more smaller at each mileage. Although the greenhouse gas tends to increase as the mileage of the vehicle, it is thought that additional confirmation is required of since 15,000 km as well, because it can occur deviations due to taming process or mechanical friction of the automobile.
