수공구조물의 설계시 확률강우강도와 홍수유출량의 정확한 산정은 경제성 및 안전성과 관련되어 필수인 과정이다. 현재 확률강우강도의 산정은 한국건설기술연구원에서 제시한 확률강우량도를 사용하고 있으나, 설계자의 주관에 따른 오차 발생의 소지가 있고 수치모의시 수작업에 따른 불리함과 지속기간에 따른 강우강도의 일관성 결여 등 공학적으로 불리하다. 본고에서는 시간적(재현기간별) 공간적으로 형식의 통일과 표준화를 기하고 공학적 사용의 편리를 위하여 단순한 형태의 일반형 확률강우강도식을 개발하여 암거설계의 편리를 도모다. 또한 기존 암거설계법을 재검토하여 미흡한 부분을 보완하였다.

Class extraction of object or component based software development methodology is the major factor for software quality. Each method has the class definition and extraction method however there are some troubles when the beginners try. Especially, the conceptual gap results to make the class extraction hard. This research suggests three diagrams to support it. They are Information diagram, Behavio diagram and Management diagram. They specify which services a stakeholder wants, which information to support the service, which actions to solve the service and who has the responsibility for those. Any analysis process which takes class extraction can utilize these diagrams.

It is generally known that children's development of 'gender schema' and 'gender role stereotype' has a positive relationship with the notion of 'gender role preference'. This study analyzed an unusual case focusing on the role playing of two brothers'. The elder brother, Hyoung-Gyoo, always preferred to take the female role, and he had a preference for feminine names like "Cordelia" whilst engaging in role playing situations. The brothers can be said to have crossed the border into the realm of intersexual role playing. The results revealed Hyoung-Gyoo's clear discrepancy between gender-related perceptions and reality, and showed his younger sibling Je-Gyoo's high level of acceptance towards his brother's extraordinary gender role preference. The results of this study can serve as a useful reference point for detailing unusual development from early childhood regarding 'opposite-gender-role seeking' characteristics.

The current study examined the cyber learners' perceptions of the educational usefulness of Grammarly, an online grammar checker, after it was used to provide feedback to cyber university students in a situation where the instructor could not provide sufficient feedback on their written work in English. The survey results, revealed that the majority of learners had positive attitudes to the usefulness of Grammarly. In particular, the feedback immediately available whenever needed was regarded as helpful in improving English sentences, and most learners were highly satisfied with the amount of the feedback provided by Grammarly. It was also found that Grammarly had positive effects in terms of the affective domains, helping learners to improve their interest and confidence in English writing. In particular, Grammarly was found to be effective in reducing writing anxiety in English, one of the main factors negatively affecting writing performance in English. However, along with these positive results, limitations such as inaccurate feedback and inadequate explanation of errors were also found. Therefore, when Grammarly is used for English education, it is necessary to conduct multifaceted research to develop effective teaching methods that can minimize the problems that may arise from these limitations.

Word problems can lead learners to more meaningfully learn mathematics by providing learners with various problem-solving experiences and guiding them to apply mathematical knowledge to the context. This study attempted to provide implications for the textbook writing and teaching and learning process by examining the word problem of elementary mathematics textbooks from the perspective of practical context. The word problem of elementary mathematics textbooks was examined, and elementary mathematics textbooks in the United States and Finland were referenced to find specific alternatives. As a result, when setting an unnatural context or subject to the word problem in elementary mathematics textbooks, artificial numbers were inserted or verbal expressions and illustrations were presented unclearly. In this case, it may be difficult for learners to recognize the context of the word problem as separate from real life or to solve the problem by understanding the content required by the word problem. In the future, it is necessary to organize various types of word problems in practical contexts, such as setting up situations in consideration of learners in textbooks, actively using illustrations and diagrams, and organizing verbal expressions and illustrations more clearly.

There are differences in manner to be shown according to a basic point of view about knowledge in division which is traditional algorithm. The 1st and 2nd stage show didactic transpositions less systemic. The 3rd stage, which were influenced by the new math, uses logical mechanism. The 4th stage shows conceptual knowledge of the division independently. The 5th and 6th stage use concrete models which shows a course. The 7th stage constitutes contents systematically and shows many chances which focus on the formation of knowledge. The suggestions derived from such transition should be considered in the practice class and an elementary mathematics textbooks for meaningful learning.

With the huge navy projects such KDX-III, LPX, bigger and more complicated vessel constructions are being underway in navy. In this paper, considering these trends, we performed a risk analysis on the navy vessel for the fatality of soldiers on board and presented the risk level with FN curve. Assuming a fire occurs in one of the soldier bedrooms, we established event tree to visualize the possible development scenarios and calculated the fatality for each scenario. The critical condition to survive inside the bedroom was obtained through CFAST program.

한국음식이 미국 내에서 하나의 민족음식으로서 점차 인식되고 있음에도 불구하고, 미국인들이 지각하는 한국음식과 한국레스토랑의 인식과 관련한 연구는 미비한 실정이다. 지금까지 대부분의 연구는 한국을 방문한 외국인들이 지각하고 인식하는 한국음식에 관한 연구에 초점이 맞추어져 왔다. 그러므로, 한국음식과 한국레스토랑에 관한 미국인들의 인식과 한국레스토랑의 포지셔닝(positioning)에 관한 연구는 미국 내에서 한국레스토랑을 운영하는 메니져(manager)들에게 중요한 정보를 제공할 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구는 미국 마이애미 지역의 대학생들을 대상으로 하여 아시안 음식과 레스토랑에 관하여 대학생들이 지각하는 이미지를 확인하였으며, 인지된 대학생들의 아시안 레스토랑과 음식에 관한 이지미는 한국레스토랑의 포지셔닝과 비교분석하기 위하여 도식으로 표현되었다. 그리고 이러한 이미지 포지셔닝 연구는 남부 플로리다(South Florida) 지역에서 한국 레스토랑을 운영하는 메니져들에게 경쟁력 있는 마케팅 전략을 제시해 줄 수 있을 것이다. 따라서, 본 연구의 목적은 미국 마이애미 지역의 대학생들이 한국, 중국, 일본, 베트남, 태국 레스토랑과 음식을 어떻게 인식하고 있는가에 관한 기초 분석연구이다. 각 아시안 레스토랑의 포지셔닝을 확인하며, 본 연구에서 분석된 기초 자료들은 레스토랑 운영자들에게 중요한 마케팅 자료로 제공될 수 있을 것이다.

Mechanistic studies on the metal-exchange reactions of sparteine copper(II) dichloride [$SpCuCl_2$] with Hg(II) ion and Hg(0) metal have been carried out with the aid of Cyclic Voltammetry and UV-visible spectrophotometry. The metal exchange reaction of $SpCuCl_2$ with both Hg(II) ion and Hg(0) metal follows pseudo-first order kinetics. Rate constants and activation parameters of metal exchange reaction have been evaluated and reported. Experimental results indicate that the rate determining step for the exchange reaction is the cleavage of Cu(II)-N bond in the transient binuclear complex of Cu(II) and mercury(II) bound to sparteine ligand.

최근 국제해사기구(IMO)의 해양환경보호위원회에서(MEPC)는 선박에서 대기로 방출되는 CO2의 양을 최소로 하기 위해서 신조선 설계 건조시 에너지효율지수(EEDI : Energy Efficiency Design Index for new ships), 에너지 효율지표(EEOI : Energy Efficiency Operational Indicator), 그리고 에너지 효율관리 계획(SEEMP : Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan) 지수들을 이용하여 전 세계 이산화탄소 배출 규제 방침을 운영하고 있다. 이러한 환경규제 강화와 발맞추어 세계 각국은 지속적인 Green-ship의 개발과 저탄소 고효율 선박의 운항을 위해 연구와 노력한다. 본 연구에서는 선박이 움직이는데 있어 동력이 시작되는 부분과 그 힘이 전달되어 운항자의 의식이 반영되어 선체의 이동으로 이어지기까지 흐름에 대해 도식 및 수식으로 정리하였다. 그리하여 해상의 상태와 이에 따른 운항결정이 어떤 결과를 초래할 수 있는지 살펴보고 이 부분에서 운항효율을 증대시킬 수 있는 부분에 대해 모색해 보았다. 또한 엔진의 상태에 따른 연료 절감율에 대해 살펴보고 보다 경제적 운항을 위한 적정 RPM과 속도 등에 대해서 고찰해 보았다. 이 같은 정리를 통해 앞으로의 Echo-ship, Green-ship의 연구방향에 대한 초석으로 삼고자 한다.
