Since the first 12 ones were designated in 1969, 228 places have been designated as tourism sites, and about 70 percent of them were designated before the 2000s. It shows that changes in most of tourism sites are needed in terms of physical, functional and environmental aspects. However, there are still not enough academic progress and policy consideration regarding the decline of tourism sites and the regeneration of them. This study aims to find the causes of decline and the factors to activate in tourism sites, to draw important conditions to recover the attractiveness of tourism sites in decline from the comprehensive analysis of causes and factors, and to apply the conditions to a real case in severely declining stage. According to the findings, the conditions for recovery could be restructured into four categories: 'The upgrade of hardware such as facilities in tourism site', 'the development of software such as contents and programs', 'the reinforcement of local capacity and institutional grounds' and 'the expansion of functions and the building of networks with various external stakeholders such as expert groups, related enterprises, talented individuals and so forth.

The differential evolution algorithm is one of the meta-heuristic techniques developed to solve the real optimization problem, which is a continuous problem space. In this study, in order to use the differential evolution algorithm to solve the traveling salesman problem, which is a discontinuous problem space, a random key representation method is applied to the differential evolution algorithm. The differential evolution algorithm searches for a real space and uses the order of the indexes of the solutions sorted in ascending order as the order of city visits to find the fitness. As a result of experimentation by applying it to the benchmark traveling salesman problems which are provided in TSPLIB, it was confirmed that the proposed differential evolution algorithm based on the random key representation method has the potential to solve the traveling salesman problems.

As the environmental pollution problem in modern society is rapidly changing with industrialization, the environmental pollution problem has a direct or indirect effect on various fields. In particular, heavy industry pollutants can be a significant variable in site selection and realestate value. Therefore, this study is based on transaction data of 13apartment complexes in Maanshan City, a representative steel city in China, and uses the Hedonic Price Model to study the effect on real estate prices, mainly on heavy industry pollution during environmental pollution. The conclusion shows that the farther away from the source of pollution, the higher values are.

Film industry is a high value-added industries, and boosts the self-esteem of the people, as a measure of a country's culture, the country's strategic industries. However, China's film industry, making elevated by an exclusive screening sector consists unprofessional experiencing difficulties, such as investment, high taxes, and entrance fees, disparities between urban and rural development, piracy. To solve these problems, this study used the literature research methods, including books, papers related to domestic research. The results shows that china's film industry need to reform the production, distribution, screenings and build a plan such as the reasonable admission fee, movie-related professional manpower, additional market activation, and the balanced development of the theatre chain, the expansion of the global market space.

A community center is situated near the residential areas and is the public facility that acts as the core of local cultural activities. A community center, as the general cultural activities increases, is transforming into a facility that promotes the community restoration and living convenience such as welfare, sports, art activities, and education etc. beyond location of simple leisurely activities. This study considers local residents' accessibility through the renovation of preexisting community center.

Measuring sensor, equipment, ICT facilities and their software have relatively short life time comparing to constructional structure so that we should exchange or fix them continuously in the process of maintenance and management. In this paper, we propose a novel design of integrated maintenance, management, and measuring monitoring system applying the concept of mobile cloud. For the sake of disaster prevention for constructional structures such as bridge, tunnel, and other traditional buildings in the village of local heritage, we analyze status of these structures in the long term or short term period as well as disaster situations. Collecting data based on mobile cloud and analyzing future expectations based on probabilistic and statistical techniques, we implement our integrated monitoring system for constructional structures to solve these existing problems. Final results of this design and implementation are basically applied to the monitoring system for more than 10,000 structures spread over national land in Korea. In addition, we can specifically apply the monitoring system presented here to a bridge of timber structure in Asan Oeam Village and a traditional house in Andong Hahoe Village to watch them from possible disasters. Total procedure of system design and implementation as well as development of the platform LinkSaaS and application services of monitoring functions implemented on the platform. We prove a good performance of our system by fulfilling TTA authentication test, web accommodation test, and operation test using real measuring data.

In this study we had chosen the examples of the development projects, so that examined about the process of the landscape impact assessment and the detail evaluation items. Especially the part of the leisure facilities and the landscape aspects among the evaluation items were reviewed whether followed the process of environment impact assessment or not, whether the impact estimate, and depreciation scheme according to the present condition and enforcement of the actual development projects perform reasonably or not. From the study, derived the improvement on the landscape impact evaluation using with 3D Simulation method is expected to contribute to the valid landscape impact assessment and the reasonable alternative proposal.

Using 492 older people in Chuncheon, this study examines whether social support is associated with depression of older people. Findings show that stress is positively associated with depression. Social support is negatively related to depression of older people. Analysis on the sources of social support reveals that all of the supports from families, friends, and important others are negatively associated with depression of the elderly. However, buffering effects of social support is not confirmed. Depression of older people is also associated with gender, household type, economic activity participation, and chronic diseases. Based on the findings, this study provides suggestions to prevent depression of older people and future research agenda.

Recently, damage of flood is increased because of a short of time of concentration by development and a rise in runoff discharge by frequently heavy rain. The increase of runoff discharge is resulted in not only rise of water level but also damage of lives and property around river. Therefore, it is should be the first to estimate the exact runoff discharge. And based on the estimated flood discharge, flood damage is prevented by estimating inundated area of flood. In this study, flood stage is forecasted using HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS for Namdae-stream. The peak discharges were determinated by probability rainfall with the return period. The peak discharges obtained from HEC-HMS were inputted boundary conditions for the channel routing. Flood stages were evaluated using HEC-RAS.

The traditional markets representing the lives of ordinary people have been pivotal in retail markets for a long time, but they suffer from deterioration due to the downturns of competitiveness caused by the inactive confrontation with changes of life styles and the large retailers' marketing territories. Recently the efforts to vitalize the traditional markets are widely developed, and this research will cover the necessity of such activation through the use of market competitiveness and cultural properties which have the social and cultural functionalities. By analyzing the case of Namhang market in Busan, this study suggests the specific activation measures in the aspects of hardware, software, human ware, and a joint venture.
