  • This study investigates the various statistical data and measures of coauthorship network in the Korean LIS Research Community such as patterns of coauthorship, structural properties, types of cluster, centrality & impact analysis. This issues are mostly addressed through a Social Network Analysis of articles published from 2000 to 2009(10 years) in Korean Library & Information Science major four Journals. The coauthorship network was constructed and various measures of four centralities, PageRank, Effect size were calculated. The results show three implications. 1) There presents a phenomenon of Pareto's law in the articles publishing counts. 2) The top authors based on publishing counts prefer co-work publishing than solo-publishing. 3) The counts of article publishing are significantly correlated with five measures of network and not correlated with the case of power centrality.

  • Teachers, parents and students have regarded teacher librarians as a book keeper who doesn't participate in teaching. Consequently teacher librarianship has not satisfied occupational function and qualities of professional workers and teacher librarians' vocational presence appears to be very frail because of school library policies ignoring teacher librarians appointment, the law and system identifing librarinship with teacher librarianship. But its ultimate cause is Library and Information Science Community's attitude of sideliners that doesn't holding teacher librarians oriented preparation programs for their instructional qualification. Thus it is essential for the members of academic communities to recognize teacher librarians as an educational media specialist and develop various curricula in order to strengthen the occupational status of teacher librarians. Also it requires that teacher librarians improve his/her individual ability with self evaluation and increase activities of their professional institutions.

The last target of this study is to implement new Marine RFID(M-RFID) that can cover all of EEZ areas as large five times as inland volume. In this paper, as a basic study for the M-RFID, we carried out an establishing the concept design of M-RFID, developing the construction method of M-RFID and, extending the idea of M-RFID. As studying results, it is known that the M-RFID can be use in many practical areas such as the protection of EEZ area and aqua culture, the safety of fisher man, the disaster control for inlander and, fisheries ligistics with real-time.
