A sample of convenience was 246 nursing students and a questionnaire was used to measure their major satisfaction, CDMSE, self-esteem, ego-resiliency, and job-seeking stress. A significant negative correlation was found among job-seeking stress, major satisfaction, CDMSE, self-esteem, and ego-resiliency. Grade of which the participant was in, self-esteem, academic achievement, experience of clinical practice, and family economic status were significant predictive variables of which accounted for 46.1% of the variance in job-seeking stress. • The purpose of this paper is to empirically grasp the influence on self-efficacy and depression and the relationship between variables, focusing on middle-aged women in their 40s and 50s who are psychologically and socially vulnerable. Through this, it was intended to explore the psychological problems of highly educated careerinterrupted women from a personal perspective and further derive implications for the development of policies and services for socially highly educated career-interrupted women. The relationship between variables was analyzed through a survey based on measurement tools structured by variables of Saju factors, self-efficacy, and depression, and the effect of the sub-dimensional characteristics of Saju structure on self-efficacy, and the resulting level of depression were verified through structural equation model analysis. Bigeop, Jaeseong, and Kwanseong have been found to have a positive and direct effect on self-efficacy and negative direct effect on depression, eventually increasing self-efficacy and lowering depression. It was found that Siksang had a positive (+) relationship with depression and a negative (-) relationship with self-efficacy, but Inseong did not directly affect self-efficacy and depression. In addition, the indirect effects between variables and the effects between self-efficacy and depression were identified.

Methods: The subjects of the study were 206 infant teachers working in pre-schools in "Region S." In the research, a survey was given out using a teaching efficacy tool used by Hee-Kyung Kwak (2011), a teacher-sensitivity measurement scale created by Kwang-Mi Min (2014), and an organizational commitment measuring tool modified and improved by Jong-Kak Lee (2013). The collected data went through the SPSS 21.0 Win Program to gather the information regarding reliability analysis, technical statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. Results: First, the infant teachers' teaching efficacy was average, their sensitivity level was above average, and their organizational commitment was a little above average. Second, the infant teachers' teaching efficacy and the organizational commitment showed a static relation. The sensitivity level showed a static relation with affective commitment and normative commitment in organizational commitment. Third, the infant teachers' organizational commitment was largely influenced by general efficacy which is a subfactor in teaching efficacy, and by consistency which is a subfactor of sensitivity. Conclusion/Implications: The results of this research suggest that teachers' teaching efficacy and sensitivity level are crucial in improving their organizational commitment.

  • This study is to examine the effects of smartphone addiction on the mothers' parenting efficacy and parenting attitude. This study consisted of 203 smartphone using mothers of preschoolers in Gyonggi-do. The measurements included smartphone addiction scale(National Information Society Agency, 2011), the parenting efficacy scale(Choi & Chung, 2001), and the parenting attitude scale(Bae, 2005). Theses analyses were included in the Pearson correlation coefficient, the T-test, and the Hierarchical regression analysis. The findings indicated that the younger mothers showed higher levels of smartphone addiction. The results of smartphone addiction subscales on parenting efficacy indicated that the disturbance of adaptive functioning was related with general parenting ability, healthy parenting ability, communication ability, and learning guidance ability. The results of smartphone addiction subscales on parenting attitude showed that the disturbance of adaptive functioning was positively related with rejective parenting attitude and virtual life orientation was negatively associated with affective and autonomous parenting attitude. These findings can emphasize parents' appropriate smartphone use, and be useful resources to develop and utilize the programs of positive parenting efficacy and parenting attitude.

  • This study examines factors influencing family life-satisfaction, focusing specifically on the role of spousal social support, trust of children and self-efficacy. Based on previous studies, two hypotheses were generated. A total of 857 adults (111 fathers and 111 mothers parents of elementary school students and 108 mothers and 108 fathers of high school students) completed a questionnaire consisting of self-efficacy scales (Bandura, 1995) and social support and life-satisfaction scales developed by the present researchers. LISREL analyses fully supported Hypothesis 1 and partially supported Hypothesis 2. First, spousal social support had a direct and positive effect on family life-satisfaction. Second, self-efficacy had a mediating effect between spousal social support and family life-satisfaction. Those respondents who received higher social support from spouse had higher self-efficacy, who in turn had higher family life-satisfaction. Third, trust of children did not have a direct effect on family life-satisfaction. Fourth, trust of children had a direct and positive effect on self-efficacy, which in turn had a direct and positive effect on family life-satisfaction. The results indicated that those respondents who had higher trust of children, had higher self-efficacy, who in turn had higher family life-satisfaction. Self-efficacy plays an important mediating role in increasing Korean adults' family life-satisfaction. This study reveal the importance of indigenous psychology in unraveling the factors influencing family life-satisfaction among Korean adults.
