Analysis and Application of CCHE2D on Channel-Bed Elevation Changes Downstream from Yong-Ju Multi-purpose Dam in Korea (댐건설로 인한 댐하류 하상변동 CCHE2D모형 분석.적용(영주댐하류 내성천 회룡포 구간 중심으로))

  • 댐의 건설로 인해 자연적인 물의 흐름이 댐 운영에 의하여 조절되기 때문에 유사의 연속성 및 유량의 변화에 따른 지형 환경적 변화가 예상된다. 따라서 영향분석을 위한 체계적인 조사 및 연구가 필요할 것이다. 본 연구는 내성천 영주댐 건설 예정지로부터 48.4km 하류인 회룡포 구간에서 하상변동이 예상됨에 따라 현장 조사를 수행하고, 장래변화를 예측하기 위하여 수치모델을 수행하였다. 수리학적 변화량은 금회 수립중인 하천정비계획의 계획 홍수량인 댐건설 전 4,040cms, 댐건설 후 2,934cms로 구분하고, 유사변화량은 영주댐 실시설계 보고서결과를 적용하여 분석하였다. 한편 2001년과 2010년의 실측종단변화를 검토한 결과, 회룡포 구간에서 0.5m~1.7m의 퇴적이 진행되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 수치모델 및 실측한 데이터를 종합적으로 판단한 결과, 단기호우사상에 대해 댐 건설 후 회룡포 구간의 사주퇴적능력은 -0.05m로 감소되어 그 영향은 비교적 미미할 것으로 분석 되었고, 대부분의 변화는 주수로에서 -0.5~0.5m로 변화될 것으로 예측되었다. 하상 변동의 양상은 실측한 10년간의 종단변화와 같은 경향성을 보이며, 횡단번호 No.15 이후로 0.5m이상 퇴적이 이루어 질 것으로 예측되었다. 본 연구결과는 댐건설로 인한 하천 하상변화에 대한 특성을 파악하고 하천공사 나 수리구조물 설계의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단되며, 향후 지속적인 모니터링 및 조사를 통하여 하상변동양상을 관측하고 분석할 필요가 있을 것으로 판단된다.

A Study on the Method for Measuring the live Calorific Value of LNG in storage tank using LNG Densitometer (LNG 밀도계를 이용한 저장 탱크 내 LNG 발열량 실시간 측정방법에 관한 연구)

  • The low caloric LNG, which didn't meet the gas interchangeability of Korea, has been imported from 2005 winter season. Amount of this LNG imports has been increased from year to year. In the near future, very low caloric LNG (calorific value ${\leq}$ 9,500 kcal/$Nm^3$) such as CBM, Shale LNG will be imported large amounts. For this reason, we need a method for monitoring live calorific values(CV) of LNG in each storage tank to supply gasified LNG with interchangeable CV at LNG receiving terminal. This study was conducted to develope the method for measuring the live CVs of LNG in each storage tank using LNG densitometer. For this purpose, the accurate correlation between CV and density of LNG was derived and the uncertainty of this method was evaluated and also the measuring system for CVs was constructed at LNG receiving terminal. To verify this method, the results of measurement using this method were compared with the field data of LNG analysis and the results showed that the deviations were 0.17~0.47%.

Design and Implementation of CNN-based HMI System using Doppler Radar and Voice Sensor (도플러 레이다 및 음성 센서를 활용한 CNN 기반 HMI 시스템 설계 및 구현)

  • In this paper, we propose CNN-based HMI system using Doppler radar and voice sensor, and present hardware design and implementation results. To overcome the limitation of single sensor monitoring, the proposed HMI system combines data from two sensors to improve performance. The proposed system exhibits improved performance by 3.5% and 12% compared to a single radar and voice sensor-based classifier in noisy environment. In addition, hardware to accelerate the complex computational unit of CNN is implemented and verified on the FPGA test system. As a result of performance evaluation, the proposed HMI acceleration platform can be processed with 95% reduction in computation time compared to a single software-based design.

Video Digital Doorlock System for Recognition and Transmission of Approaching Objects (접근객체 인식 및 전송을 위한 영상 디지털 도어락 시스템 설계)

  • Current digital door lock systems are mainly designed for users' convenience, so they have weakness in security. Thus, this paper suggests a video digital doorlock system grouped with a relay device, a server, and a digital doorlock with a camera, sensors, and communication modules, which is detecting or recognizing objects approaching to the front of the door lock system and sending images and door-opening information to users' smart devices. Experiments showed that the suggested system has 96~98% recognition rate of approaching objects and requires 17.1~23.9 seconds for transmission on average, depending on network systems. Therefore, the system is thought to have enough capability for real time security response by monitoring the front area of the doorlock system.

  • In these days, the world is getting connected to the internet like a sophisticated net, such an environment gives a suitable environment for cyber attackers, so-called cyber-terrorists. As a result, a number of cyber attacks has significantly increased and researches to find cyber attack traffics in the field of network monitoring has also been proceeding. But cyber attack traffics have been appearing in new forms in every attack making it harder to monitor. This paper suggests a method of tracking down cyber attack traffic sources by defining relational information flow of traffic data from highest cascaded and grouped relational flow. The result of applying this cyber attack source tracking method to real cyber attack traffic, was found to be reliable with quality results.

  • 오늘날 세계화와 정보통신 분야의 기술혁신으로 기업들의 경영활동 영역이 점점 글로벌화 되어가면서 물류산업의 환경도 급격히 변화해 나가고 있다. 세계적으로 확산되고 있는 인터넷망이나 물류망은 시간과 거리의 제약을 완화시켰으며, 고객들의 정보와 상품에 대한 접근이 쉬워짐에 따라 기업에 대한 고객욕구가 다양해지고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 경영환경의 변화에 따라 우리 기업들은 보다 경쟁력 있는 물류서비스를 고객에게 제공하기 위하여 물류 서비스의 유연성 개선, 물류 전문 인력 확보 등에 힘쓰는 한편 물류 부문의 취약성을 극복하기 위한 물류자동화 시스템 도입 등 다양한 방안을 강구하고 있다. 현재 도입된 수배송 관제 시스템은 GPS를 기반으로 하고 있다. 그러나 기존의 GPS를 이용한 관제 시스템은 위치 정보만 수신하여 위성의 사각지역 또는 실내에서 작동이 잘 되지 않는 문제가 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기위해 본 논문에서는 스마트폰을 사용한 수배송 관제 시스템을 설계하였다. 스마트폰은 GPS와 3G통신 모두 이용하여 양방향으로 통신할 수 있으므로 기존의 GPS를 이용한 단방향 수배송 관제 시스템보다 정보를 정확하고 효율적으로 관제할 수 있다. 제안하는 시스템은 물류 수배송 상에서 발생되는 데이터를 실시간 모니터링이 가능해야하며, 관리자와 수배송자간의 신속한 정보 전달을 통해 배송조건을 최적화시키고, 물류의 흐름을 제어하여 배송 시에 발생하는 문제에 대한 신속한 해결을 통해서 배송시간을 최소화하는 것이 목적이다.

  • Depending on the progress of the surveying and information processing technology, the rapidly developing field of spatial information and the 3D real world spatial information for a variety of content on the computer was able to easily access. In this research, to study on the spot or to use aerial photographs to measure trees of the acquired data, calculate the trees height, forest area and capacity, determine the distribution of the density of acquired points in the forest and analyze accurate and objective information was acquired. The United States, Canada and so on through the capacity of trees biomass, forest resource analysis, time series monitoring, wildfire behavior modeling and applied research and has been declared. During worldwide is increasing interest in forest resources. In nationally, extensive research and analysis of the forest consists of the correct management and protection of forest resources to be effective.

  • It is very important to collect all production-related status values during the manufacturing process of semiconductor. The analysis results of the collected data can be used for the operation rate, fault diagnosis, process control and removal of predicted obstacles of equipments, eventually contributing to the improvement of production efficiency. For this propose. many IC makers have adopted EES(Equipment Engineering System). As the use of web has become a daily lift activity lately, it has been suggested to expand the scope of monitoring equipments using HTTP or SOAP protocols. To fulfill the web-based EES, EDA(Equipment Data Aquisition) should be facilitated first by integrating and standardizing various forms of messages generated from many different semiconductor equipments. In this paper, a method for integration between different types of information is suggested based on the analysis of various protocols used for the communication between semiconductor equipments. In addition, a software architecture to support the method is desisted.

Field Application of a Cable NDT System for Cable-Stayed Bridge Using MFL Sensors Integrated Climbing Robot (누설자속센서를 탑재시킨 이동로봇을 이용한 사장교 케이블 비파괴검사 시스템의 현장 적용)

  • In this study, an automated cable non-destructive testing(NDT) system was developed to monitor the steel cables that are a core component of cable-stayed bridges. The magnetic flux leakage(MFL) method, which is suitable for ferromagnetic continuum structures and has been verified in previous studies, was applied to the cable inspection. A multi-channel MFL sensor head was fabricated using hall sensors and permanent magnets. A wheel-based cable climbing robot was fabricated to improve the accessibility to the cables, and operating software was developed to monitor the MFL-based NDT research and control the climbing robot. Remote data transmission and robot control were realized by applying wireless LAN communication. Finally, the developed element techniques were integrated into an MFL-based cable NDT system, and the field applicability of this system was verified through a field test at Seohae Bridge, which is a typical cable-stayed bridge currently in operation.

  • Small mobile devices have become commonplace in our everyday life, from cellular phones to PDAs. Discovering dense regions for the mobile devices is one of the problems of grate practical importance. It can be used in monitoring movement of vehicles, concentration of troops, etc. In this paper, we propose a novel algorithm on continuously clustering a large set of mobile objects. We assume that a mobile object reports its position only if it is too far away from the expected position and thus the location data received may be imprecise. To compute the location of each individual object could be costly especially when the number of objects is large. To reduce the complexity of the computation, we want to first cluster objects that are in proximity into a group and treat the members in a group indistinguishable. Each individual object will be examined only when the inaccuracy causes ambiguity in the final results. We conduct extensive experiments on various data sets and analyze the sensitivity and scalability of our algorithms.
