For effective information sharing, data provenance semantics need to be managed effectively. Based on a scheme to represent data provenance semantics, we propose a model to calculate information sharing costs. Information sharing costs are derived from probabilities of type I and type II errors that occur in organizational information sharing, costs related to these errors, and information sharing distances between organizational units which are determined by information sharing workflows. We apply the model to various types of information sharing workflows including departmental information systems, hierarchical information systems, a hub and a stand-alone system. The calculated information sharing costs show that the hub with data standardization is best in information sharing; however without standardization its information sharing cost deteriorates to that of a departmental information system. And, any information sharing workflow is better than a stand-alone system. It is proved that the model is useful in analyzing effectiveness of information sharing workflows and their characteristics.

The objective of this study is to investigate the factors which influence biotechnology scientists' data sharing intention. This study employed Ostrom's theory of collective action. The target population of this study includes scientists and students of biotechnology field in South Korea. A total of 411 responses which collected by e-mail were used for the final data analysis. The summary of this study is as follows. First, norm of data sharing and academic reciprocity were found to have significant positive influences on data sharing intention directly. Second, perceived community trust was found to have significant positive influences on data sharing intention when academic reciprocity was the mediator. Third, academic reputation showed the moderating effects on the relationship between norm of data sharing and academic reciprocity, and between norm of data sharing and data sharing intention. These findings show that researchers can approach the data sharing behaviors by using the mechanism of trust, norms, reciprocity, and reputation and indicate necessity for a development of academic reputation system to promote more data sharing behaviors of researchers.

In this study, major steps of the research data management plan were derived through the research data management guidelines of major countries (NISO DMP in the US, UK DMP in UK archives, etc.). The results obtained are support for research data policy & planning, research data technical support, research data sharing support, research data legal mechanism support, and research data education support. In this study, we analyzed seven cases of data sharing among 7 domestic and foreign biotechnology. Shared use case countries are limited to the United Kingdom and the United States, which play a leading role in the management of research data. In Korea, shared cases were analyzed for the Korean Bio Information Center and related systems, which is a research and performance management and distribution agency designated by the Ministry of Science and Technology.

As sharing of research data has become essential, overseas publishers are providing authors with DAS templates to facilitate data sharing. However, the domestic academic market is still lacking in policies related to such research. This study proposes a data sharing policy and DAS template that can be applied to domestic academic societies in order to activate data sharing. To this end, data sharing policies of 5 foreign publishers including Nature and 12 DAS templates including AMS were investigated and analyzed. As a result of the study, an overview of the data sharing policy applicable to domestic academic conferences and a DAS template consisting of 12 items were derived. It is judged that the data sharing policy and DAS template to be presented as a result of this study can be a practical guide and tool for data sharing.

기업 환경이 글로벌화 됨에 따라 다수의 기업들이 하나의 공동 프로젝트를 수행 하기 위해 인터넷 등의 통신 네트웍을 통해 기업 간 데이터 등을 교환 및 공유하여 하나의 기업이 업무를 수행하는 것과 같은 유기적인 비즈니스 프로세스를 지원하는 가상 협업(Collaboration) 환경의 중요성이 날로 강조되고 있으며, 이러한 환경을 가상 기업(Virtual Enterprise)이라 한다. CALS는 가상 기업을 구축하기 위한 핵심 기술로써 이질 분산 데이터의 공유 환경을 제공하기 위한 여러 형태의 요소 기술들을 정의하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 여러 기업들 사이에서 데이터를 공유하기 위한 기반 기술인 CALS 표준 데이터 공유 서버에 대해 살펴본다. 특히, CALS 환경에서 주목하고 있는 SGML, STEP 등의 표준 데이터를 공유하기 위해 필요한 분산 객체 기반 서버 컴포넌트에 대해 논한다. 마지막으로 CALS 표준 데이터 공유 서버를 응용하여 기업간의 문서 공유 시스템을 개발하여 본 시스템의 유효성을 검증한다.

공공 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경은 대부분 사용자가 직접 데이터를 보유하지 않고 데이터 센터의 논리적으로 분리된 저장 공간에 데이터가 존재하는 환경이기 때문에 데이터의 유효한 보안은 매우 중요하다. 더군다나 데이터 센터 내에 위치한 기밀데이터를 사용자 사이에 공유하고자 하는 경우에 안전한 공유기법이 제공되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 공공 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경에서 계약된 신뢰 모델을 기반으로 안전한 기밀 데이터 공유 방법을 제안한다. 공공 클라우드에서 사용자에게 데이터 제어권을 두고, 클라우드 서비스 제공자는 단지 데이터를 저장, 검색, 전송하는 프록시(Proxy) 서버 역할을 하게하여 증가하는 데이터 공유와 협업을 위한 데이터 공유 기법을 제안한다.

국/내외의 공공 데이터 공유 개방 흐름에 힘입어, 데이터기반의 다양한 비즈니스 기회가 창출되면서, 데이터를 효과적으로 공유 관리하기 위한 오픈 데이터플랫폼이 공공, 과학기술 분야를 중심으로 확산 발전하고 있다. 공공분야에서는 공공데이터 공유를 위한 CKAN, Socrata 등의 플랫폼이 있으며, 연구분야에서는 DSpace를 기관 데이터 공유 레파지토리(repositories)들이 있다. 국내외에 이러한 플랫폼을 이용하여 데이터를 공유하거나, 분야별로 데이터 저장소들이 증가일로에 있다. 나아가, 최근 단순히 공유하는 것을 뛰어넘어 사용자들에게 데이터 분석을 용이하게 하는 분석 개발 서비스환경을 제공하는 시도가 MS, Google, AWS등에서 보이고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 일련의 플랫폼 개발 동향 및 그들의 특징을 살펴보고, 현존하는 분석형 데이터 플랫폼이 지향하는 기능들에 대해 살펴보기로 한다.

웹을 기반으로 하는 분산환경에서 데이터 공유 문제를 해결하기 위해서 XML을 이용한 시스템을 등장하고 있다. 하지만, XML을 이용한 데이터 공유 및 교환은 공통된 XML DTD를 이용한 다는 것을 전제로 하기 때문에, 서로 다른 DTD를 기반으로 작성된 XML 문서는 그 의미에 대한 공유가 이루어지지 못한다. 본 논문에서는 XML 태그 및 속성을 정의하는 DTD 작성시에 데이터 레지스트리를 이용하도록 함으로써 XML 태그의 의미를 공유할 수 있는 방법을 제시하였으며, 이를 기반으로 작성된 XML 문서를 교환하고 검색할 수 있는 문서 공유 환경을 설계하였다. 제시한 환경에서 유통되는 XML 문서는 서로 다른 DTD에 의해서 작성된 경우에도 그 태그의 의미를 서로 공유할 수 있어 자동화된 데이터의 교환이 가능하며, 데이터 레지스터리에 등록된 데이터 요소의 정의를 이용해서 사용자가 원하는 개념과 일치하는 문서 및 내용을 검색함으로써, 정확한 문서 검색 결과를 얻을 수 있다.

본 논문에서는 효율적인 의사결정 지원을 위해 SHADE 기반의 공유 데이터 접근 활동들에 대한 절차를 제안한다. 먼저 SHADE에 대한 개념 및 기술구조를 제시하고 공유 데이터 접근을 위해 요구되는 핵심 기술, 즉 데이터 디렉토리 서비스 기술, 데이터 미디에이션, 복제 기술에 대한 개념과 특징을 분석한다. 그런 다음 SHADE 기술구조 하에 효율적으로 공유 데이터에 접근할 수 있도록 4개 활동 각각에 대해 절차를 제안한다. 제안한 절차에는 5단계의 디렉토리 서비스 및 4단계의 검색 절차, 데이터 미디에이션을 이용한 5단계의 데이터 중개 절차, 미들웨어를 이용한 7단계의 실시간 데이터 교환 및 4단계의 데이터 복제절차가 각각 포함된다. 향후 제안한 공유 데이터 접근 절차를 통해 정보체계 간 데이터 연결 능력이 향상될 뿐만 아니라 이를 통해 정확하고, 신속한 의사결정 지원에 도움을 줄 것으로 기대한다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate factors affecting the sharing of research data of science and technology researchers. Data was collected through a survey of 198 science and technology researchers. Independent variables in this study included perception, openness in communication, collaboration, and trust. Latent variable was selected as reward system and dependent variable was research data sharing. The results of analysis of structural equation modeling showed that perception were found to have a positive impact on reward system for data sharing for research. Other factors such as trust, openness in communication and collaboration were not statistically significant in their affect on reward system for data sharing. Finally, reward system was identified as the influential factor on research data sharing.
