This study reviewed theories for database integration, which combines heterogeneous data structures, and suggested a practical method to integrate databases of Korean Research Memory(KRM) and Infrastructural Basic Research(IBR) as a case study. In order to broadly distribute the outcomes of IBR, it is essential to be connected to and integrated with the database of KRM. As a solution, it was suggested that the current database of IBR should follow standard guidelines as a XML database, and its future database should be integrated with the database of KRM or be established as a stand-alone system
Recently, Construction information is being changed from CAD to BIM, and GIS is extending from outdoor to indoor information. In these circumstances, the needs of continuous use of construction information linked with GIS are growing constantly in stages of maintenance, operation and service as well as planning, design and construction. To this end, it is essential element to represent 3-dimensional large object efficiently in establishing BIM-GIS interoperability platform by combination of construction and spatial information. In this study, we design spatial data LOD for making spatial object and texture by level, and develop weight lightening algorithm of large spatial object.

SWAT includes a lot of parameters related with geography, hydrological time series, land management and water pollution, etc. So, it needs many spatial, non-spatial and time series data to run SWAT. If SWAT is operated in conjunction with GIS, we can use database which includes model input data and do all the processes which covers data creation, model input and analysis of simulation results in a system. The objective of this study is to develop HyGIS-SWAT which is the interface system to couple the SWAT model and HyGIS. To achieve this object, system operation process based on HyGIS-SWAT data model is evaluated and databases are designed and established. As a result, HyGIS-SWAT prototype system is developed. HyGIS data model and HyGIS-Model operation process can be applied effectively to the development of HyGIS-SWAT. The technologies from this study can be used as base technology to develop another HyGIS application which connect HyGIS with models.
In this study, in order to efficiently perform smart city river management, we developed an integrated platform that connects flood analysis models on the web and provides information by converting input and output data into a database. In the integrated platform, a watershed analysis model, a river flow analysis model and an urban runoff analysis model were applied to perform flood analysis in smart city. This platform is able to obtain more reliable results by step-by-step approach to urban runoff that may occur in smart city through the applied model. In addition, since all analysis processes such as data collection, input data generation and result storage are performed on the web, anyone in an environment that can access the web without special equipment or tools can perform analysis and view results. Through this, it is expected that smart city managers can efficiently manage urban runoff and nearby rivers, and can also be used as educational materials for urban outflows.
Software education is an important subject in the era of forth industrial evolution generation, and the number of hours is gradually expanding in Korea's elementary and secondary curriculum, and universities have also opened software-related courses to take liberal arts mandatory regardless of major. The Ministry of Education presented elementary and secondary school programming achievement standards and emphasized the connection between prerequisite subjects as educational goals. Applicants for programming classes at H University also completed information classes in elementary and secondary courses, but many students were new to programming without taking related classes. Therefore, this study analyzed the data using the survey data and achievement scores of programming learners. As a result of the analysis, information classes completed in elementary and secondary courses were not linked to higher education courses at all, and improvements for problem solving were derived. This study is meaningful as a study for effective software education in higher education courses.
Information from various heterogeneous devices is steadily increasing in distributed cloud environments. This is because high-speed network speeds and high-capacity multimedia data are being used. However, research is still underway on how to minimize information errors in big data sent and received by heterogeneous devices. In this paper, we propose a deep learning-based asymmetric storage management technique for minimizing bandwidth and data errors in networks generated by information sent and received in cloud environments. The proposed technique applies deep learning techniques to optimize the load balance after asymmetric hash of the big data information generated by each device. The proposed technique is characterized by allowing errors in big data collected from each device, while also ensuring the connectivity of big data by grouping big data into groups of clusters of dogs. In particular, the proposed technique minimizes information errors when storing and managing big data asymmetrically because it used a loss function that extracted similar values between big data as seeds.

Data Science is emerging as a closely related field of study to Library and Information Science (LIS), and as an interdisciplinary subject combining LIS, statistics and computer science in an attempt to understand the value of data by applying what LIS has been doing for collecting, storing, organizing, analyzing, and utilizing information. To investigate which subject fields other than LIS, statistics, and computer science are related to Data Science, this study retrieved 667 materials from Web of Science Core Collection, extracted terms representing Web of Science Categories, examined subject fields that are studying Data Science using descriptive analysis, analyzed the intellectual structure of the field by co-word analysis and network analysis, and visualized the results as a Pathfinder network with clustering created with the PNNC clustering algorithm. The result of this study might help to understand the intellectual structure of the Data Science field, and may be helpful to give an idea for developing relatively new curriculum.

The need for improvement is raised due to limitations with environmental impact assessment, and the importance for data-based environmental impact assessment is increasing. In this study, data demand was derived by analyzing Agreed Terms and Conditions in the Water Environment field (Water Quality, Hydraulic & Hydrologic Conditions, and Marine Environment) of environmental impact assessment. Agreed Terms and Conditions on environmental impact assessment in the water environment field were classified and categorized by environmental impact assessment stage (addition to status survey, impact prediction and evaluation, establishment of reduction measures, post-environmental impact survey), and data demand for each type of consultation opinion was linked. As a result of the categorization of Agreed Terms and Conditions, it was classified into 18 types in the water quality, 15 types in the hydraulic & hydrologic conditions, and 17 types in the marine environment. As a result of linking data demand, the total number of data demand was 236 in the water quality, 98 in the hydraulic & hydrologic conditions, and 73 in the marine environment. The highest number of Agreed Terms and Conditions and data demands were found in the water quality for the evaluation item and establishment of reduction measures, specifically establishment of non-point source pollution reduction measures, for the stage. The numbers were judged to be linked to the relative importance of the items and the primary purpose of environmental impact assessment. The derivation of data demand through the analysis of Agreed Terms and Conditions in the environmental impact assessment can contribute to the advancement of the preparation of environmental impact assessment reports and is expected to increase data utilization by various decision-makers by establishing a systematic database.
