모바일하버 선박의 계류안정화시스템의 개념 설계

  • 하역장치가 장착된 모바일하버 선박은 새로운 해상운송시스템 개념으로, 임시정박지에서 대형 컨테이너 선박에 계류하여 해상상태 3 이하 조건에서 선박간 해상계류 상태에서 신속하면서 효율적인 컨테이너 하역작업을 수행하는 것이다. 모바일하버와 관련한 주요 연구로는 고속하역시스템, 부유체 구조 설계, 안벽하역시스템 해석 및 작업크레인 설계 둥의 원천 기술 개발을 중심으로 수행되었다. 본 연구는 모바일하버 선박의 하역작업 중 동척 안전성 확보를 위한 계류안정화시스템을 개발하고자 하는 것으로, 국내외 계류장치에 대한 현황 분석을 기초로 현재 선박에 탑재되어 있는 의장장치인 윈치시스템에 계류안정화 기능을 추가시킨 포지셔녕 윈치를 개발하여 모선과의 상대운동을 최소화하는 방안에 대한 개념 설계를 제안한다.

  • 본 연구에서는 부산항 신항 선박급유 및 유류중계기지 건립에 따른 JETTY 평면재배치 검토로 인하여 발생되어지는 부산항 신항에 입항하는 대형 컨테이너 선박이 계류중인 선박에 작용하는 간섭력을 수치적으로 계산하고, 계류중인 선박의 안전 및 유류중계기지 건립 안전에 유의해야 할 점 등에 관하여 검토한다.

  • 선박 거주구는 승무원 및 여객들이 상주하는 곳으로서 대형 상선의 경우 주선체 상부에 건물형태의 높은 구조이므로, 선박의 불균형력과 프로펠러 기진력으로 인해 주 선체와 연성되어 진동이 발생한다. 대형상선의 거주구는 육상구조물과는 달리 주선체와 마찬가지로 강성은 일정하나 화물적재량의 변화에 따라 선박 거주구의 유효질량이 변화함으로 가변적인 진동특성을 갖는 구조물 중의 하나이다. 본 연구에서는 가변 동특성을 갖는 대형상선의 거주구 진동을 수동형 및 능동형 흡진장치를 통하여 제어할 경우 거주구의 고유진동수 변화에 따른 제어성능의 변화를 반영할 수 있으면서도 제어성능과 안정성이 뛰어난 강건제어 시스템의 설계 가능성을 수치 시뮬레이션을 통하여 확인하고자 하였다. 적용대상은 진동문제가 많이 발생하는 컨테이너 운반선과 초대형 원유운반선의 거주구 진동특성을 3차원 유한 요소법을 이용하여 검토하고, 실험적인 방법으로는 거주구 형태의 구조물의 질량변화에 대한 동조형 흡진기의 제어성능을 시험과 선형이차 진동제어 장치의 진동제어성능 실험결과를 소개하고자 한다.

  • Nowadays, the vessel size is tending to be bigger and bigger, so port facilities are following this trend, which has been shown inthe competition of Hub-Port among the main ports such as Port of Busan and Port of Shanghai. But there are limited numbers of large container vessels and $70\%$ of the call ships at Busan port are middle and small sized ships which are less than 20,000ton. So we need to consider the handling facilities for these sized ships, but it has disregarded. In this paper, we estimate the optimum level of crane and labor according to vessel's size by container handling cost value reflecting size of vessel; size and number of crane and labor structure.

  • The International Maritime Organization(IMO) has adopted and implemented compulsory regulation for reducing greenhouse gas emission that cause global warming. However, with global warming underway, the IMO plans to enforce voluntary carbon dioxide emissions reduction based on the Ship Energy Efficient Management Plan and the Energy Efficiency Operational Indicator(EEOI) in the near future. Large container ships sail at low speeds in order to save fuel and reduce carbon dioxide emissions. However, bulbous bows designed for high-speed ships decrease fuel efficiency by acting as resistance when reduced speeds are adopted by large container ships. In order to adopt low-speed operations and increase fuel savings, the bulbous bow of a large container ship was modified into the proper shape and size. Fuel consumption was compared for checking the result of EEOI before and after modifying the bulbous bow adopted on low speed operation of large high-speed ships. The results confirmed much larger carbon dioxide emissions reduction than expected. If EEOI would be implemented as compulsory regulation for reducing carbon dioxide emissions, bulbous bow modification can be considered as one of the fuel saving methods for the high-speed ships.

  • 해운 항만의 환경이 2000년대 들어서 10,000teu급의 대형 컨테이너선박이 집중 투입되면서 선박의 대형화와 고속화가 가속되고 있다. 이에 따라 전세계 해운시장의 업계들은 살아남기 위한 방안으로 M&A와 Alliance들을 선택하였다. 각각의 선사들은 주력하고 있는 항로들이 다르며 그에 따라 전략적인 제휴관계를 맺고 있다. 본 연구에서는 전 세계 해운 선사들의 Alliance 관계를 파악하고 그들의 사회연결망기법중의 하나인 Net-miner4를 활용하여 네트워크 구조에 대해서 깊이 있게 살펴보았다.

A Study on the Evaluation of Berthing Energy of Large-Sized Container Ships with the effect of Shallow Waters (대형 컨테이너선의 천수역 영향을 고려한 접안에너지 산출에 관한 연구)

  • In order to improve the safety of ship berthing and the efficiency of berth operation in the harbour, the berthing energy acting on a ship in berthing maneuver need to be estimated properly. The berthing energy is used as one of the criteria to determine the maximum permissible load q{ fender as well as important factors to establish the berthing speed and the required power of tug-boat for pilot and ship operator. Some problems of berthing energy are discussed on the basis of the hydrodynamic aspects. Then, series calculations of berthing energy are carried out considering the effect of water depth on added mass and the ship shape for container series from 1,600TEU to 12,000TEU.

  • Recently the building of ultra large container ship are discussed among ship building companies and ship operating company who have a tendency to pursue the advantage of large scale of economy. These tendency will be continued for the time being, if ship-building skill and economical efficiency are available. As the enlargement of container ship size becomes hot issues in ship-building markets, the needs for re-arrangement of accommodation house in large container ship are proposed carefully in some researches. This study examined economical efficiency of re-arrangement of accommodation house in ultra large container ship. The separation between accommodation and engine room is proposed through out drawing works in initial design stage and we examined the merits and demerits of the separation in the view of economical efficiency. The RFR(Required Freight Rate) is considered as the objective function to evaluate the re-designed vessel. The economical benefits are analyzed in the view of ship operator and shipyard respectively.

  • As ship builder companies have a tendency to pursuit the effect of scale economy, recently the ultra-large sized container ship is discussed very actively among them. It is expected that these situation will be continued for the time being. The need of accommodation re-arrangement is carefully proposed according to the tendency of ultra-large sized ship. In this paper, accommodation re-arrangement of ultra-large container ship is examined in the view of economy. We proposed separation of engine room and accommodation part through review and supplementaition of drawing generation in intial design stage. Also we investigated its merits and demerits to find out whether it can be realized or not in the view of economical efficiency. The RFR(Required Freight Rate) is considered as the objective function to evaluate the re-designed vessel. The economical benefits for increasing the number of TEU(Twenty-foot Equivalent Units)'s and the re-arranged space are analyzed in the view of ship owner and shipyards respectively.

  • In these days, 8,000TEU container ship service launches in shipping service at latest based on the economy of scale, unit cost related with ship operation on ocean decreases in proportion to increase of ship scale and mega ship over 10,000TEU is on planning. Most of the exiting researches have performed from the perspective of total operation cost from mega port to mega port. However, the purpose of this paper is to estimate economic efficiency by ports selected Hub port from total cost point of view, operation cost, port charge, feeder cost, etc.
