과거 정부, 공공기관, 기업 등 모든 분야에서 에너지절약보다 성장을 중시하던 때, 기업들은 과감한 투자를 통해 고속성장을 거듭해 왔다. 하지만 최근 세계 각국의 경기침체로 인한 불황, 금융위기, 고유가 등 여러 어려움이 가중되면서 기업들은 예전의 성장지향적인 정책보다는 안정을 도모하면서 발전할 수 있는 여러 방법에 대해 모색하기 시작했다. ESCO사업은 새로운 생존방식을 찾던 기업들에게 보다 쉽게 에너지절약시설에 투자할 수 있도록 길을 열었으며 기업은 이를 통해 생산원가를 낮추고 온실가스를 저감하는 등 부수적 이익도 톡톡히 얻게 되었다. ESCO사업이 국내에 도입된 지 21년째에 접어든 지금, ESCO는 어떻게 발전되어 왔고, 또 얼마나 변화해 왔을까. 에너지관리공단 박경빈 실장과 함께 ESCO에 대한 이야기를 나누어 보았다.

선모자연농원(대표 양승덕)은 지난 2006년 3월 10일 우리 시대에 맞는 친환경 생산물을 이용해 무항생제, 항산화제로 소비자에게 깨끗하고 신선한 계란을 공급하고자 3년간의 지속적인 연구 끝에 흑운모와 녹차를 함유한 유정란의 품질인증을 받았고, 현재 특허등록을 위해 출원한 상태이다.(출원번호 40-2006-0012500). 양승덕 사장은 흑운모가 황토와 맥반석보다 약 3배 이상 원적외선 방사율(94%)이 높으며 게르마늄 함유량이 36ppm에 이르는 생명의 돌로서 예전부터 흑운모석을 약돌이라 부른 것에 착안하여 산란계에도 흑운모 분말을 배합한 사료를 급여하였다. 본고는 웰빙시대에 걸 맞는 흑운모, 녹차의 기능과 이를 이용해 국내에서 어렵게 생산한 "흑운모 · 녹차유정란"의 특성을 살려 생산하는 현장을 취재하였다.

최근 인터넷 사용의 급증으로 인터넷 가입자 수가 폭발적으로 증가하고 있으며, 온라인 거래와 다양한 인터넷 서비스 제공 등으로 인하여 고속 네트워크 트래픽 양의 증가가 현저해지고 있다. 이러한 변화로 인하여 네트워크 사용자들은 예전보다 훨씬 많은 양의 정보를 고속 네트워크인프라를 통하여 쉽게 주고받을 수 있다. 이러한 편리함의 역기능으로 바이러스, 웜 및 해킹과 같은 사이버 테러를 말할 수 있으며, 이로 인하여 개인의 사생활 정보 유출은 물론 국가 안보까지 위협받는 상황에 이르렀다.(중략)

어머니의 손맛이 예전 같지 않고 짜거나 맵거나 달다면 노년이 되었다는 결정적인 증거이다. 나이가 들어감에 따라 신체가 노화되고 미각 세포의 기능이 저하되어 맛에 대한 감각이 떨어졌기 때문이다. 미각이 떨어졌다는 것은 노년 건강을 위한 식탁관리가 되어야 한다는 말이기도 하다. 노년에는 영양상태가 건강상태를 좌우하는 결정적인 요인인데 노년이 되면 미각 저하는 물론, 식사와 직접적인 관련이 있는 장기 기관의 능력이 저하되어 올바른 영양상태를 유지하기 어렵게 되기 때문이다. 미각이 떨어진 노년기의 식탁관리에 대해서 알아본다.

예전에 모뎀을 통한 PC통신이 한창 유행할 때, ROM족이라는 유행어가 있었다. RAM(Random Access Memory)과 함께 컴퓨터의 기억장치로 활용되는, 읽기만 가능한 저장매체(Read Only Memory)를 뜻하는 용어였다. 그런데 이 용어는 이 속성을 빗대어 게시판을 읽기만 하는 회원(Read Only Member)을 가리키는 말로도 쓰였다. 정보화시대에 있어서 정보라는 것, 비록 형태가 없는 것들이 대부분이지만 이 역시 누군가가 사용하기 위해서는 누군가가 만들어내야 한다. 수요와 공급이 일어나는 정보 유통 구조다. 혹자는 ROM족으로 소비생활에만 치중하지만, 또 다른 혹자들은 소비와 생산을 동시에 하는 프로슈머(ProSumer) 역할을 한다. 이번호에서는 이러한 생산성을 띤 소비자들에 대한 이야기를 하고자 한다.

한국양계(주)는 올해 부화장 신축으로 세계 최고 수준의 초생추 생산 기반을 통해 명실상부 대한민국 최고 수준의 산란계 부화생산설비와 위생설비를 갖추게 되었다. 한국양계(주)는 지난해 8월 부화장이 전소되는 안타까운 상황을 맞이하였으나 이를 슬기롭게 극복하고 네덜란드 로폼사 제품을 새롭게 도입, 올해 6월부터 첫 입란에 들어가 예전 수준을 회복했다. 본고는 국내 부화${\cdot}$생산으로 업계 발전에 새로운 바람을 일으킬 한국양계(주)의 신축 부화장을 소개코자 한다.

휴대폰의 1차 용도는 당연히 통화라고 할 수 있다. 가장 좋은 휴대폰은 모 이동통신사의 예전 CF에서처럼‘언제 어디서나 때와 장소를 가리지 않고 잘 터지는’것이다. 이러한 주된 용도 부분이 어느 정도 선까지 만족스러운 상황이 되고 나면, 차별화에 대한 소비자의 니즈가 발생하게 된다. 먹고사는 데 그리 크게 문제가 되지 않는다면 여가를 어떻게 보낼 것인지가 관심사가 되는 것과 마찬가지로, 통화 면에서 특별히 문제가 없다면 다른 용도로 사용할 수 있는 방안은 무엇일까 하고 찾게 되는 것이다. 이번 호에서는 차별화를 통해 별도의 시장을 키워가는‘전달 기능’의 콘텐츠에 대해 살펴보려 한다. 통화 목적이 아닌 다른 용도에서의 정보 전달이라는 측면을 어떤 식으로 구현하는지 보면 또 다른 시장이 보일 것으로 생각한다.

예전보다 약과의 접촉이 많아지고 쉬워지면서 집안에 방치되거나 복용을 잊어버린 약들이 더 많아졌다. 이런 약들을 다시 먹으려 할 때는 특별한 주의가 필요하다. 특히나 임산부, 어린이등 취약 계층은 더욱 주의가 필요하다. 이들 모두가 간단하게 이용할 수 있게 사진을 찍으면 약의 이름과 효능, 부작용, 복용방법 등에 대한 정보를 알 수 있는 어플리케이션을 개발했다.

Purpose of study: The purpose of this paper is to gain insight into the alternative possibility of Christian children's education overcoming the current church school paradigm namely schooling system by examining the characteristics and the direction of children's spiritual education. Research content and method: This paper is a review of the characteristics of children's spiritual education and ways to embody those characteristics. Therefore, it consists of two parts: the characteristics of children's spiritual education and the search for ways to embody those characteristics. First, children's spiritual education is a "formative" model that aims to form children's spirituality based on children's spirituality research that views children as 'spiritual beings.' This model specifically has three core orientations: 'experience', 'meeting God', and 'immersion'. In other words, children's spiritual education pursues 'experience rather than knowledge', pursues the experience of meeting God in the second person rather than teaching third-person knowledge about God, and values the spiritual moment of immersion more than anything else. Second, it searches for specific ways and methods through which those three core goals could be implemented, and found that they were 'sense,' 'liturgy,' and 'story.' The sense becomes a path that evokes experience, the liturgy becomes a place for 'meeting God,' and 'story' becomes a key path to 'immersion.' And when the three are organically combined with each other, the goals pursued by children's spiritual education can be holistically converged. Conclusions and Suggestions: Through these considerations, it found that the core values and direction of education are consistently maintained in children's spiritual education, from children's understanding to education methods. It also figured out that the direction should be shared not only by children's spiritual education but also by all who pursue holistic faith education: 'what to experience' rather than 'what to teach', 'liturgy' rather than 'teaching', 'story' rather than 'explanation', and 'sensory' experiences rather than 'abstract' knowledge.

A spacer grid, which is one of the structural components in a PWR fuel, is an interconnected array of slotted grid straps that are welded at the intersections to form an egg-crate structure. The spacer grid is required to have sufficient lateral crush strength to enable nuclear reactor shut-down during abnormal operating environments. Previous studies on the lateral crush strength analysis of the spacer grid were performed using only the base material properties. In this study, to investigate the effect of the lateral crush strength of the spacer grid when using the mechanical properties in the weld zone instead of the base material properties, lateral crush strength analysis by considering the mechanical properties in the weld zone as obtained from the instrumented indentation technique was performed, and the results were compared with those of previous studies.
