This study attempts to identify users' potential information needs in a medium-sized academic library by analyzing reference questions raised by library users for 64 days from October 10th to December 13th, 2000. A total of 474 reference questions were analysed of which only 10.1% were pure reference questions that dealt with the professional knowledge of reference librarians. 71.0% had nothing to do with professional knowledge, being directional(29.3%), mechanic(23.8%), and library policy related(l7.9%). Improvements in sign system and guiding materials in the library should be made to deliver reference services of good quality to academic library users.

문맥 광고의 의미론적 매칭에서 웹 페이지와 광고의 매칭 정확도는 웹 페이지와 광고의 분류 성능에 종속적이다. 그러나 광고의 짧은 텍스트는 광고 분류 성능을 하락시키는 원인이 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는, 광고 분류 성능을 높이기 위하여, 광고 랜딩 페이지를 활용하여 광고 텍스트를 확장시키는 방법을 제안하고, 실험을 통하여 그 효과를 입증한다. 추가로, 구문론적 매칭과 의미론적 매칭 방법을 적용하여 개발된 문맥 광고 엔진의 프로토타입을 제시한다.

본 논문에서는 Microsoft의 Bot Framework v4를 활용하여 C#으로 개발한 피자 주문 챗봇에 대해 설명한다. 이 챗봇은 Azure에 호스팅 되었으며 피자 메뉴 선택, 피자 주문, 콜라 메뉴 선택, 콜라 주문, 배달 조회, 주문 종료 등의 기능을 제공한다.

In this paper, we discuss the design of an urban drainpipe system based on Geographic Information System (GIS). First we introduce the reasons why we establish this system, and then analyzed the construction, database architecture, network architecture of the system, at last we give a develop direction in the future.

RFID는 자동 객체 식별 기술로써 유비쿼터스 환경과의 연결을 통해서 적용 범위가 더욱 확대되고 있다. 그러나 RFID 시스템은 전파를 이용하는 통신 구조와 낮은 태그 가격 제약으로 인해서 사용자의 프라이버시 문제와 악의적인 공격노출 등의 위험이 발생하고 있다. 이런 문제점들을 해결하기 위해 물리적인 방법과 암호학적인 접근 방법 등 많은 방법들이 제안되었다. 그 중에서 해시 체인 기법은 다른 방법과 비교하여 강력한 보안 수준을 제공하면서도 간단한 인증 과정이 장점이다. 그러나 재전송 공격과 스푸핑 공격에 취약한 문제점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 기존 해시 체인의 장점을 유지하면서 보안 취약성을 개선한 RFID 인증 프로토콜을 제안한다. 계산 효율성을 고려하여 최소한의 난수와 비트 연산(XOR)을 이용하여 보안 취약성을 개선한다.

인터넷과 디지털 환경은 지금까지 운영되어 왔던 학술정보시스템에 대한 재검토를 요구하고 있다. 도서관 운영에 있어서도 새로운 정보환경과 매체의 발전으로 인하여 자료의 수집에서 서비스 정보에 이르기까지 변화된 정보환경에 부합하는 평가모형의 개발을 요하고 있다. 따라서 새로운 정보환경과 매체 변화에 적합한 도서관의 운영과 서비스를 창출하기 위하여 국내외의 평가기준을 분석하여 디지털 환경에 적합한 대학도서관의 평가 항목과 평과 지표를 제안하고자 한다.

The present study investigated the impact of users' perceived benefits on their happiness and loyalty towards the university's online class system. Furthermore, the notion of loyalty was delineated into cognitive, emotional, intentional, and behavioral loyalty, and a systematic analysis was conducted to assess their respective impacts. The analysis was conducted using survey data obtained from a sample of 298 college students who possessed prior experience with the university's online class system. The analysis of the survey revealed that the satisfaction with the online class system was positively influenced by perceived practical benefits and symbolic benefits. However, it was found that emotional benefits did not have a statistically significant impact on satisfaction. Furthermore, it has been demonstrated that cognitive loyalty exerts a substantial beneficial impact on emotional loyalty, as well as a sequential and considerable positive influence on active and behavioral commitment inside the online class system established through perceived benefits. This study holds significance as it conducted an empirical analysis on the impact of users' perceived benefits of the university's online class system on their satisfaction levels, as well as its influence on the four-stage development process of loyalty.

최근 언어 모델(Language model)의 기술이 발전함에 따라, 자연어처리 분야의 많은 연구들이 좋은 성능을 내고 있다. 정해진 주제 없이 인간과 잡담을 나눌 수 있는 오픈 도메인 대화 시스템(Open-domain dialogue system) 분야에서 역시 이전보다 더 자연스러운 발화를 생성할 수 있게 되었다. 언어 모델의 발전은 응답 선택(Response selection) 분야에서도 모델이 맥락에 알맞은 답변을 선택하도록 하는 데 기여를 했다. 하지만, 대화 모델이 답변을 생성할 때 일관성 없는 답변을 만들거나, 구체적이지 않고 일반적인 답변만을 하는 문제가 대두되었다. 이를 해결하기 위하여 화자의 개인화된 정보에 기반한 대화인 페르소나(Persona) 대화 데이터 및 태스크가 연구되고 있다. 페르소나 대화 태스크에서는 화자마다 주어진 페르소나가 있고, 대화를 할 때 주어진 페르소나와 일관성이 있는 답변을 선택하거나 생성해야 한다. 이에 우리는 대용량의 코퍼스(Corpus)에 사전 학습(Pre-trained) 된 언어 모델을 활용하여 더 적절한 답변을 선택하는 페르소나 대화 시스템에 대하여 논의한다. 언어 모델 중 자기 회귀(Auto-regressive) 방식으로 모델링을 하는 GPT-2, DialoGPT와 오토인코더(Auto-encoder)를 이용한 BERT, 두 모델이 결합되어 있는 구조인 BART가 실험에 활용되었다. 이와 같이 본 논문에서는 여러 종류의 언어 모델을 페르소나 대화 태스크에 대해 비교 실험을 진행했고, 그 결과 Hits@1 점수에서 BERT가 가장 우수한 성능을 보이는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

Strategic information systems assist organization with the significant opportunity to gain competitive advantage in executing its business plans and realizing its business goals. The universities establish long-range plan of information systems in an effort to provide just-in-time, useful, efficient and effective information services to their members such as professors, students, and staffs when carrying out various organizational activities. The university information systems started from the primitive computer-based application, extended to the administrative and educational e-transformation, even to the virtual university concept. Through an empirical analysis and complementary case examples, the current study carefully chose three Korean universities according to their chronological importance, that have undergone the information systems planning process years from 1995 to 2001. These universities then, were compared in terms of the information technology architecture: the information architecture, infra architecture, and information management architecture. These three areas of system were cross-examined under the consideration of the evolution of information technology architecture, and its impact on the development of university e-transformation. As part of a fulfillment plan to satisfy the needs of customers of current trend, it is evident that the university e-transformation provides a stepladder to highly competitive, first class university in the market, through achieving the educational advancement, research enhancement, and administrative efficiency. The result of the study analysis indicates that, of the three architectures examined, the weakness showed in the information management architecture. Therefore it is crucial for the university staffs, managers and professors to understand the significance of the successful implementation of the information system and its maintenance. Our study certainly will act as a catalyst for the promotion of the future university e-transformation projects.

As artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a promising future technology among the fourth industrial revolution, we are trying to apply artificial intelligence technology across all area of society, including libraries. This study investigated the effects, issues, and implications of artificial intelligence on university library services. As a research method, in-depth interviews were conducted with IT experts of university libraries in North America, and conclusions and discussion were drawn from interview results and related documents. Research results revealed that university libraries in North America were trying to build an infrastructure that facilitates information access and retrieval based on artificial intelligence systems and to provide new services in collaboration with AI research institutes in universities. This study raised issues regarding the expansion of the role of libraries and librarians, privacy, and data quality. It was also discussed that the need for re-education of university librarians to become software engineers who play a role in disseminating knowledge. In addition, this study suggested the investment for the establishment of the information system and an artificial intelligence research center in the library. The study discussed limitations of research due to changes in the research environment and suggestions for future research.
