  • This paper focuses on the implementation of machine learning model for Recycling bot, which is a platform service of recycling education. The recycling bot applied with a AI model using collected image set. The experiment confirms that classified by the model result are accurate.

A Comparative Study between Korea and China on the Informativity of University Promotional Videos (대학홍보영상 정보성의 한·중 비교 연구)

  • With the fierce competition between universities and the diversification and rapid development of multimedia, university promotional videos have become one of the effective means for universities to instill a better brand image, increase their competitiveness, and attract more new students. There were not many studies on university promotional videos in the field of advertising promotion, and there were no comparative studies on university promotional videos in Korea and China. Accordingly, this study aims to analyze promotional videos of the top 30 universities in Korea and China by referring to the world university rankings released by the 2021 World University Rankings (QS) World University Evaluation Agency and explore the differences between the two countries. According to the results of the study, it was found that there were some significant differences between Korea and China's university promotional images in each analysis category. This study is meaningful in that it will serve as a reference for the production of promotional videos for schools in the future while presenting the differences between Korean and Chinese university promotional videos.

Analysis of Color Image Wedding Bouquet in the Interflora World Cup Competition (인터플로라 세계월드컵대회의 웨딩부케 색채이미지 분석)

  • Importance of color in floral design has been emphasized for long time, but it is difficult to find out standardization of color for floral design and for educational system. Wedding bouquet is major and important part of floral design and it shows same problem. The research is concentrated on color image analysis of wedding bouquet designs which have been submitted for 'Interflora World Cup Competition' with the intention to utilize the study result as the basic information of floral design. Colors of wedding bouquets from 20 different countries were analyzed. All of designers chose high brightness and saturation more for designing the bouquets. Warm colors and cold colors have been taken in similar portion. Blue color has been rarely used and it is probably because of the rarity of blue flowers. This study shows each continent has different color preference. European designers used wide variety of colors while Asian designers preferred red color. From this study, we found that color image scales of wedding bouquets represent 8 images out of 12 representative images. Four exceptions are 'clean', 'elegant', 'gentle' and 'modern' images.

  • Recent advances in wireless communication, electronics, MEMS device, sensor and battery technology have made it possible to manufacture low-cost, low-power, multi-function tiny sensor nodes. A large number of tiny sensor nodes form sensor network through wireless communication. Sensor networks represent a significant improvement over traditional sensors, research on Zigbee wireless image transmission has been a topic in industrial and scientific fields. In this paper, we design a Zigbee wireless image sensor node and multimedia monitoring server system. It consists of embedded processor, memory, CMOS image sensor, image acquisition and processing unit, Zigbee RF module, power supply unit and remote monitoring server system. In the future, we will further improve our Zigbee wireless image sensor node and monitoring server system. Besides, energy-efficient Zigbee wireless image transmission protocol and interworking with mobile network will be our work focus.

Influencing Factors the Nurse Image Recognized by Nursing Students on Major Commitment (간호대학생이 인식하는 간호사 이미지가 전공몰입에 미치는 영향)

  • This study attempted to understand the nurse image and major commitment of nursing students, investigate their relationship, and prepare necessary measures to improve the major commitment of nursing students. The data were collected from 185 nursing students enrolled in seven nursing colleges and were analyzed statistically with the SPSS/WIN 24.0 program. The research results are as follows. It was confirmed that the more positive the nurse image perceived by the subject, the higher the major commitment. In addition, influencing factors the major commitment of nursing students identified in the order of major satisfaction, perception of nursing, nurse image, and aptitude and interest among nursing selection motives, and total explanatory power was 42%. Based on the above results, it is necessary to develop and apply a program including a positive nurse image for nursing students.

  • 본 논문에서는 신경망 모델에 키보드를 통한 주행 학습을 이용하여 자율 주행을 할 수 있는 시스템을 개발하였다. 주어진 트랙에서 키보드의 방향키를 통해 전진, 후진 등 5가지의 상태로 RC카를 수동 제어하고, 제어시 카메라를 통해 얻어진 이미지를 저장해, 키 제어 데이터와 이미지 데이터를 학습시켜서 자율 주행을 할 수 있는 시스템을 구현하였다.

  • 최근 빅데이터에 관련된 연구에 있어 데이터의 품질관리에 대한 논의가 꾸준히 이뤄져 오고 있다. 특히 이미지 처리 및 분석에 활용되어온 딥러닝 기술의 경우, 분류 작업 및 패턴인식 등으로부터 데이터의 특징을 추출함으로써 비지도학습(Unsupervised Learning)을 가능하게 한다는 장점이 있음에도 불구하고 빅데이터를 다루는 과정에 있어 용량, 다양성, 속도 및 신뢰성 측면에서의 한계가 있었다. 본 연구에서는 CCTV 영상을 활용한 강수량 산정 모델 개발에 있어 예측 정확도 향상 및 성능 개선을 도모할 수 있는 데이터 전처리 방법을 제안하였다. 서울 근린 AWS 4개소 지역(김포장기, 하남덕풍, 강동, 성남) 및 중앙대학교 지점 내 CCTV를 설치한 후, 최대 9개월의 영상을 확보하여 강수량 산정을 위한 딥러닝 모델을 개발하였다. 배경분리, 조도조정, 영역설정, 데이터증진, 이상데이터 분류 등이 가능한 알고리즘을 개발함으로써 데이터셋 자체에 대한 전처리 작업을 수행한 후, 이에 대한 결과를 기존 관측자료와 비교·분석하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 전처리 방법들을 적용한 결과, 강수량 산정 모델의 예측 정확도를 평가하는 지표로 선정한 평균 제곱근 편차(Root Mean Square Error; RMSE)가 약 30% 감소함을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 결과로부터 CCTV 영상 데이터를 활용한 강수량 산정의 가능성을 확인할 수 있었으며 특히, 딥러닝 모델 개발시 필요한 적정 전처리 방법들에 대한 기준을 제시할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • 이용자 중심의 인터페이스 개발은 현재 검색시스템에서 가장 중요한 이슈가 되고 있다. 인터페이스에서 메타포의 사용은 바로 이용자 편의성을 높이는 방안이라 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 대학도서관과 공공도서관의 검색인터페이스에서 사용하고 있는 메타포의 유용성을 평가하였다. 그 결과 현재 사용되고 있는 메타포의 문제점은 비슷비슷하다는 점이며 한 이미지가 유일한 의미를 갖고 있지 못하여 혼동을 야기 시킨다는 점이며, 이미지와 텍스트간의 의미적 관계 또한 명료하지 않게 나타났다. 따라서 메타포 개발시 이미지에 담겨진 의미가 모든 이용자와 같을 수 있도록 논리적 유사점을 찾아내어야 할 것이다.

  • In this paper, we first analysis definition of continuity of functions in high school textbooks, the mathematics high school curriculum and university mathematics textbooks. We surveyed what was causing the students to struggle in their concept image of continuity of functions. We arrived at that students' concept for errors in images of continuity of function were caused by definition of continuity of functions in high school textbooks.

Country Image: Does It Really Matter to Consumers between Korea and the U.S.? (국가이미지: 한·미 소비자들에게 과연 그렇게 중요한가?)

  • Consumers generally have different country images and purchasing patterns about products made in different countries. The essence of consumer behavior lies in psychological image on consumers' mind rather than actual characteristics of product itself. The current study examines how much country of origin influences consumers' purchase intentions focusing on Mexican products by consumers between Korea and the U.S. after establishment of NAFTA. The result of the study shows that there exists significant differences between Korean and the U.S. consumers' attitudes on purchasing Mexican products by structural equation modeling analyses.
