교육과정은 그 시대에 적합한 요구들을 반영하여야 한다. 제 7차 수학과 교육과정에서 이산수학의 도입이 바로 정보화 시대의 반영이라고 볼 수 있다. 즉, 이산수학의 도입은 수학의 변화가 수학교육의 변화로 이어졌다는 점에서 긍정적으로 평가할 수 있다. 그러나 새로운 내용의 교육과정 도입은 충분한 검증 절차의 부재로 인하여 부정적인 측면도 나타날 수 있다. 예를 들어, 교사양성 대학에서 이미 오래 전부터 개설되어진 해석학이나 대수학 같은 강좌와는 달리 이산수학의 강좌는 비교적 최근에 개설되어 졌으므로 대부분의 현장교사들은 이산수학 내용에 대한 지식이 거의 없다는데 있다. 이러한 문제점들을 바탕으로 우선, 교사양성 대학교육과정에서의 이산수학에 대한 충분한 연구와 우리 현실에 맞는 교재의 재구성이 요구되어진다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 7차교육과정을 고려하여, 교사양성 대학에 적합한 이산수학 강좌에 대한 구체적인 예들을 제시하여 사범대학 학생들로 하여금 이산수학을 제대로 이해하고, 아울러 이러한 연구가 현직 교사연수에도 충분히 반영될 수 있도록 한다.

This qualitative research investigated how to improve preservice and in-service teacher education programs through in-depth interviews with 10 exemplary science teachers. Data from interviews were used to analyze how the teachers perceived current situations of teacher education and what they suggested as an improvement plan. In terms of preservice teacher education, exemplary teachers argued that teacher education programs should (1) ensure the teacher education program's identity and goals, (2) provide preservice teachers with practical knowledge by translating theory into practice, and (3) secure faculty members who majored in science education. In light of in-service education, the teachers contended that (1) teachers should acknowledge the continuing processes of their own professional development, (2) the content and method of in-service training should incorporate teachers' practical needs in the classroom, and (3) the teaching community should implement a clinical supervision to improve their classroom practices. The central role of teacher (re)education in a successful classroom reform is also discussed.

본 논문에서는 우리 나라 학교환경교육의 발전 과정을 태동기(1980년 이전), 성립기(1981-1991년), 정착기(1992년 이후)로 구분하여 간략히 개관한 다음, 전국 수준의 초.중등학교 학생, 교사, 교육전문직을 대상으로 한 환경교육에 관한 의식과 요구 사항 등에 대한 조사 연구 결과 및 이를 바탕으로 한 환경과 담당 교사의 현직연수와 양성교육에 관한 정책 대안을 제시하였다. 또, 1993년 이후 우리 나라에서 이루어지고 있는 환경교육을 위한 교사교육의 변화 및 발전 현황을 다음과 같이 요약하였다. 첫째, 중등학교의 교사자격증 표시과목으로 '환경'과가 1994년부터 추가됨으로써 현직교사 연수 및 교사양성대학에 환경교육과의 설치가 제도적으로 가능해졌다. 둘째, 제6차 교육과정(1995년부터 적용)에 신설된 중학교 환경 및 고등학교 환경화학 담당 교사 확보를 위한 자격연수(총 180시간)가 1994년 여름방학부터 시작되었으며, 이를 통하여 1996연말까지 환경과 부전공 자격 소지자를 680명 배출하게 되었다. 셋째, 중등학교에서 환경과를 담당할 교사를 양성하기 위한 환경교육과가 전국 3개 대학(한국교원대학교, 공주대학교, 순천대학교)에 설치되었다. 넷째, 1995년부터 전국의 각급 학교에 환경주임교사를 배치하여 학생의 체험적 환경교육을 유동하고, 일반교사에게 환경교육의 중요성을 전파하는 역할을 담당하게 하고 있다. 다섯째, 환경과 부전공 제도가 1996년부터 시작되었다. 대학재학 중에 전공과목에 대하여는 42학점 이상, 환경교육 관련 과목을 21학점 이상 이수한 학생은 환경과 부전공 교사 자격증을 얻을 수 있게 되었다. 여섯째, 교사의 자생단체로 지역별 '환경교사연구회'가 구성되어 환경교육 자체연수, 교재개발과 보급, 환경캠프와 답사 등의 활동을 전개하고 있다. 끝으로 환경교육을 위한 교사교육에서 계속 노력해야 할 사항을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between university life satisfaction and resilience to happiness and university life satisfaction. The subjects of this study were 249 pre-service early childhood teachers in Seoul and Gyeonggi province. The statistical analysis of this study was analyzed using the SPSS V. 22.0 program. The results of the study are summarized as follows. First, pre-service early childhood teachers' perceived resilience, happiness, and University life satisfaction were generally considered to be 'normal'. Second, the relationship between the resilience and happiness of pre-service early childhood teachers showed that the higher the resilience, the higher the level of happiness. Also, resilience showed statistically significant effect on happiness and 69% of happiness. Third, the relationship between resilience of pre-service early childhood teachers and university life satisfaction showed that the higher the resilience of resilience, the higher the satisfaction of University life. Also, resilience showed a significant effect on university life satisfaction and 68% of happiness. This study is meaningful in that the resilience of pre-service early childhood teachers proves to be an important factor in the happiness and the University life satisfaction, which are related to quality of life of pre-service early childhood teachers.

This study examines the influence of pre-service early childhood teacher's social support and adaptability to college life on teacher's efficacy. The study subjects were 394 pre-service early childhood teachers. The instruments were Social Support Scale, Adaptability to College Life Scale and Teacher Efficacy Scale. The collected data were analyzed by using SPSS program. Frequency and percentage were used to determine the general background of the pre-service teachers. To examine social support, adaptability to college life and teacher efficacy of pre-service early childhood teachers, descriptive statistics analysis was conducted. To assess the relationship among social support, adaptability to college life and teacher efficacy of pre-service early childhood teachers, Pearson's correlation analysis was carried out. To examine the effects and relative explanation of esocial support, adaptability to college life and teacher efficacy of pre-service early childhood teachers, multiple regression analysis was conducted. From the study results, first, pre-service early childhood teachers had higher social support, adaptability to college life and teacher efficacy rates than average. Second, there was a positive correlation among social support, adaptability to college life and teacher efficacy of pre-service early childhood teachers. Third, teacher efficacy of pre-service early childhood teachers was influenced by their social support, and adaptability to college life. The study results suggest that a teacher efficacy improvement program for pre-service early childhood teachers should be provided for ensuring their social support. The study results also emphasize the necessity of social support and adaptability to college life improvement program for pre-service early childhood teachers.

글로벌시대를 이끌어 갈 인재의 기초를 다지는 우수한 초등학교 교사 양성이라는 특수한 목적하에 설립된 고등교육기관인 교육대학교는 연구와 교육이라는 대학의 핵심기능 중 교육의 중요성이 특히 강조되는 조직이다. 이러한 특수성을 감안한 정부의 지속적인 관심과 투자가 절실하다. 여기서는 우리나라 교육대학교의 역할과 현주소를 다시 한 번 짚어보고, 우리나라 교육대학교의 발전을 위한 새 정부의 과제를 살펴보고자 한다.

최근 대학들은 안팎으로 많은 어려움에 직면하고 있다. 내적으로는 학령인구 감소에 따른 입학정원의 부족을 외적으로는 대학시장 개방에 따라 해외 유학생들 급증에 따른 학생유치 등의 어려움이 가중되고 있다. 이 같은 위기를 타개하기 위한 방안 중 하나로 대학들은 홍보활동을 강화하고 있다. 그 동안 대학들은 대학이미지 제고를 위해 각종매체 등을 활용하여 관계집단에게 직, 간접적으로 홍보를 확대하는 등 홍보를 대학존립을 위한 자구책의 일환으로 인식하고 다각적인 노력을 하고 있다. 이 논문은 대학에서 실시하고 있는 홍보활동에 대한 효율적 방안의 하나로서, 고교 입시생들에게 대학지원 및 선택에 직접적인 영향을 주고 있는 교사를 대상으로 하여 비교적 제작경비가 저렴하면서도 장기 누적적 효과를 줄 수 있는 홍보기념품의 하나인 다이어리에 대하여 다이어리기능과 홍보기능을 결합시킨 교사용 다이어리의 디자인 방향연구를 통해 홍보비용 및 효과를 제고시키기 위한 제안이다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the learning contents presented in high school science and in pre-service science textbooks of college of education, and to examine educational implications for pre-service science teachers by analysing their connection to each other. High school science is called as 'convergence science.' Seven high school science textbooks and eleven science textbooks related to physics, chemistry, biological science, and earth science for pre-service teachers were selected to analyse learning contents. The relationship between high school science with those of college-level science textbooks for pre-service science teachers was found when the learning contents were compared. Science textbooks for pre-service science teachers have the biggest number of learning contents on the chapter 'Energy and Environment' of high school science. About 86.6% of learning contents of high school science were introduced on textbooks on science, but pre-service teachers should learn the remainder. The part of learning contents presented in high school science textbooks was higher than the college-level for pre-service science teachers. Moreover, the part of learning contents was included in Engineering & Technology. And these required a special teacher education. Accordingly, the results suggested that learning contents for high school science should be optimized and reduced. Also, various educational programs should be developed and educational curriculum for pre-service science teachers should be revised.

The claim that the quality assurance measures towards teacher education institutions tend to be deviated from its original purposes has been raised among international scholars, especially in those countries where prospective teachers are oversupplied. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of evaluation systems of teacher's colleges in South Korea and China from a comparative perspective. Based on six areas such as evaluation authority, purposes, cycle, criteria, methods, result utilization, we describe current practices to draw similarities and differences of the two systems. The analyses revealed remarkable similarities despite the slight differences. First, the evaluation was deviated from the quality assurance and support of the teacher's colleges. Second, the evaluation focused on supervision of the institutions and control of quantitative aspects of teacher's colleges instead of quality assurance. Based on the findings, we suggested some policy recommendations to recover the original purposes and functions of teacher education institutional evaluations in South Korea and China.
