A Study on the Problems and Prospects of Ubiquitous Library Through Ubiquitous Computing (유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅에 기반한 유비쿼터스 도서관의 과제와 전망에 관한 연구)

  • Ubiquitous computing technology provides anytime and anywhere accessibility to information, ubiquitous computing is adapted in the various field to increase efficiency of work. After looking into the trend of ubiquitous computing, case studies of information service using mobile service and RFID system in library were investigated in this paper. Library information service are providing retrieval of library OPAC and verifications of circulation and return date using mobile internet technology. In addition, various notice services using short me sage service(SMS) of mobile are available. Considering growing mobile service and RFID system advancement of related technology, more information service utilizing mobile service and RFID system should be developed in near future.

  • 소비자의 신용 대출 규모가 점차 증가하면서 기업에서 고객의 신용 등급에 의한 정확한 고객 분류를 필요로 하고 있다 이를 위해 판별 분석과 신경망의 역전파(BP: Back Propagation)를 이용한 고객 분류 시스템이 연구되었다. 그러나, 판별 분석을 사용한 방법은 불규칙한 신용 거래의 성향을 보이는 비정규 분포의 고객 데이터의 영향으로 여러 개의 판별 함수와 판별점이 존재하여 분류 정확도가 떨어지는 단점이 있다. 신경망을 이용한 방법은 불규칙한 신용 거래의 성향을 보이는 고객 데이터에 의해서, 지역 최소점(Local Minima)에 빠져 최대의 분류 정확률을 보이는 분류자를 얻지 못하는 경우가 발생할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 기존 연구의 분류 정확률을 저하시키는 단점을 해결하기 위해 SVM(Support Vector Machine)을 사용하여 고객의 신용 등급을 분류하는 방법을 제안한다. SVM은 SV(Support Vector)의 수에 의해서 학습 성능이 좌우되므로, 불규칙한 거래 성향을 보이는 고객에 대해서도 높은 차원으로의 매핑을 통하여, 효과적으로 학습시킬 수 있어 분류의 정확도를 높일 수 있다 하지만, SVM은 근사화 알고리즘(Approximation Algorithms)을 이용하므로 분류 정확도가 이론적인 성능에 미치지 못한다. 따라서, 본 논문은 점진적 앙상블 SVM을 사용하여, 기존의 고객 분류 시스템의 문제점을 해결하고 실제적으로 SVM의 분류 정확률을 높인다. 실험 결과는 점진적 앙상블 SVM을 이용한 방법의 정확성이 기존의 방법보다 높다는 것을 보여준다.

Design and Implementation of a Book Counting System based on the Image Processing (영상처리를 이용한 도서 권수 판별 시스템 설계 및 구현)

  • Many libraries utilize RFID tags for checking in and out of books. However, the recognition rate of this automatic process may depend on the orientation of antennas and RFID tags. Therefore we need supplemental systems to improve the recognition rate. The proposed algorithm sets up the ROI of the book existing area from the input image and then performs Canny edge detection algorithm to extract edges of books. Finally Hough line transform algorithm allows to detect the number of books from the extracted edges. To evaluate the performance of the proposed method, we applied our method to 350 book images under various circumstances. We then analyzed the performance of proposed method from results using recognition and mismatch ratio. The experimental result gave us 97.1% accuracy in book counting.

  • Today the use of RFID is extended in medical. circulation market, manufacture, security field, etc. Besides, the book-lending and the attendance management system are on an increasing trend in the use of RFID The developed dormitory management system is composed of a support program, a room management program, a manager program, and a mobile program etc.. In the support program a student(or a manager) can see his(or all member's) entrance and exit history. The room management program decides whether a student can enter the dormitory or not and manages the use of the power after or inquiring a RFID's input tag information into database server. The manager program is able to input and modify a room state and the fixtures information in the room required to operate the room management program, to set up and retrieve a student's entrance and exit information and a room state information. The mobile program enables a manager to check student's identity whether he is in or out, and the manager can know the personal information of being out in detail.

  • After 2008 global financial crisis, Korean housing market has experienced stagnation. So it caused housing market problems like housing price reduction, rising rent cost and so on. For housing market normalization government announced policies but Korean housing market didn't recover from stagnation. So, to understand why Korean housing market couldn't overcome the recession and why the policies didn't be effective, this research analyzed housing market participants (home owner, housing demand) based on the law of supply and demand and the psychological effect on their transaction intention based on behavioral economics(behavioral finance). Based on the analysis this research tested the effectiveness of announced policies using System Dynamics. The result showed that the amount of transaction and mortgage loan was influenced by the length of time to draft policies.

A Study on Influence Factors of the Academic Library on College Education and Research Performances (대학의 교육 및 연구성과에 미치는 대학도서관 영향요인 연구)

  • This study aimed at analyzing the influence factors of the academic library on college's education and research performances. The researched subject was 144 colleges targeted for information disclosure by Center for Higher Education Information Disclosure. The conclusion of the present study is as follows. First, the educational performance in college showed the positive relation with 'library environment' variables except 'seating capacity per capita'. Second, the educational performance in college was positively related to the variable of 'library outcome' and particularly, it was directly influenced by circulation, visit, and interlibrary loan. Third, the research performance in college showed a positive correlation with 'library environment' variables except facility scale of library. Fourth, the research performance in college showed a positive relation with the variable of 'library outcome' and research performance excluding 'publication in domestic journals per capita' was positively influenced by 'document delivery services usage per capita' and 'commercial DB usage per capita' in common.

An Analysis of Quality Efficiency of Loan Consultants in a Bank using Shannon's Entropy and PCA-DEA Model (Entropy와 PCA-DEA 모형을 이용한 은행 대출상담사의 서비스 품질 효율성 분석)

  • Loan consultants assist clients with loan application processing and loan decisions. Their duties may include contacting people to ask if they want a loan, meeting with loan applicants and explaining different loan options. We studied the efficiency of service quality of loan consultants contracted to a bank in Korea. They do not work as a team, but do work independently. Since he/she is not an employee of the bank, the consultant is paid solely in proportion to how much he/she sell loans. In this study, a consultant is considered as a decision making unit (DMU) in the DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) model. We use a principal component analysis-data envelopment analysis (PCA-DEA) model integrated with Shannon's Entropy to evaluate quality efficiency of the consultants. We adopt a three-stage process to calculate the efficiency of service quality of the consultants. In the first stage, we use PCA to obtain 6 synthetic indicators, including 4 input indicators and 2 output indicators, from survey results in which questionnaire items are constructed on the basis of SERVQUAL model. In the second stage, 3 DEA models allowing negative values are used to calculate the relative efficiency of each DMU. In the third stage, the weight of each result is calculated on the basis of Shannon's Entropy theory, and then we generate a comprehensive efficiency score using it. An example illustrates the proposed process of evaluating the relative quality efficiency of the loan consultants and how to use the efficiency to improve the service quality of the consultants.

  • Blockchain technology began in 2008 when an unidentified person named Satoshi Nakamoto proposed a cryptocurrency called Bitcoin. Satoshi Nakamoto had distrust of the existing financial system and wanted to implement a financial system that is robust against hacking or mannipulation without a middleman such as a bank through blockchain technology. Satoshi proposed a blockchain as a technology to prevent the creation of the bitcoin and forging of transactions, and through this, the functions of issuance, transaction, and verification of currency were implemented. Since then, Ethereum, a cryptocurrency that can implement the smart contract on the blockchain, has been developed, allowing financial products that require complex contracts such as deposits, loans, insurance, and derivatives to be brought into the area of cryptocurrency. In addition, it is expanding the possibility of substituting products provided by financial institutions through combination with real assets. These applications are defined as Decentralized Finance (DeFi). This paper was prepared to understand the overall technical understanding of DeFi and to introduce the services currently in operation. First, the technologies and ecosystems that implement the overall DeFi are explained, and then the representative DeFi services are categorized by feature and described.

An Exploratory Study on the Effects of Mobile Proptech Application Quality Factors on the User Satisfaction, Intention of Continuous Use, and Words-of-Mouth (모바일 부동산중개 애플리케이션의 품질요인이 사용자 만족, 지속적 사용 및 구전의도에 미치는 영향)

  • In the real estate industry, the latest changes in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, such as big data analytics, machine learning, and VR (virtual reality), combine to bring about industry change. Proptech is a new term combining properties and technology. This study aims to derive and analyze from a comprehensive perspective the quality factors (systems, services, interfaces, information) for mobile real estate brokerage services that are well known and used in the domestic market. The surveys in this study were conducted online and offline and a total of 161 samples were used for statistical analysis. As a result, all hypotheses were approved to except system quality and service quality. The results show that the domestic proptech companies who are mostly focused on real estate brokerage services, peer-to-peer lending, advertising platforms and apartments need to grow in various fields of proptech business of other countries including Europe, USA and China.

Current Status of Housing Development Project Finance and Its Policy Implications (주택개발 프로젝트 금융의 현황과 정책과제)

  • This paper aims at analyzing the current status, characteristics and problems of housing development project finance firstly, and secondly, examining the policy measures in order to enhancing the housing development project finance systems. The main results of this paper are as follows. Project finances are very activated in the housing development projects, especially, apartment development, since 2001. But most of housing development project finance are not virtual project finance, but conditional corporate finance, because most of project finance didn't uses bankruptcy remote. Therefore, the main policy measures in order to activate effective growth of project finance are, first, institutionalizing of project finance, second, enhancing the feasibility study capabilities of finance companies, third, using the real estate funds effectively, and forth, networking housing development project finances with long-term mortgage finances.
