Insoluble glucan is the important component of oral biofilm, which is synthesized from sucrose through the action of glucosyltransferase (GTF) B and GTF C encoded by the gtfB and gtfC genes, respectively of Streptococcus mutans. In present study, the effects of various sugars on the mRNA expression of gtfB and gtfC of S. mutans Ingbritt were examined by fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH). The mRNA of gtfB and gtfC was expressed normally in the BHI broth containing 1% and 5% sucrose. The mRNA expression was decreased by the addition of 10% of glucose, and 1%, 5% and 10% of fructose. Lactose had no great effect on the expression of gtfB and gtfC. 5% and 10% of xylitol greatly reduced the mRNA expression of gtfB and gtfC. Sorbitol slightly decreased the mRNA expression of gtfB and gtfC when compared to the control. In summary, mRNA expression of gtfB and gtfC was decreased by the addition of glucose, fructose, and xylitol.

Along with economic growth which affects to the overall increase in income level within society, more permissible leisure time, and change in values of the life style directly affected to the more demand of performance arts. The theaters where the performance contents are actually accomplished have been built with various objectives and now there are 232 of performing art theaters are in operation at various locations over the country. The purpose of this research is to identify behavioral factors regarding how the preferable choice were made from the various type of the performance arts, study for the correlation on post behavior customer based on the survey conducted at Sori Art Center. As a result of this research, there were strong correlation were identified between how the preferable choice were made among the various type of performance and Customer's intend of returning visit /perceivd value. In addition to the aforementioned result, the survey result shows that the excellence of the facility, hospitality level of the staffs, and additional customer services were the meaningful positive factors and user convenience/subsidiary facilities were negative factors to the overall service quality control activities. The research reveals meaningful correlations between quality of the customer service factors and how the preferable choice were made by customer that lead to strategic plan which will increase competitiveness of the Sori Art Center. Extensive research for the Sori Art Center which represents cultural power of the local community would be exemplary case not only for the art centers in metropolitan area but also other local areas within the country.

The dropwort was fermented by steeping with brown sugar, fructose syrup or oligosaccharide at room temperature for 2 month, and then stored at cold room for 6 months. The dropwort extracts prepared with three different sugars showed more than $50^{\circ}$Brix, below pH 4.0 and about $0.7\%$ titratable acidity. The dropwort extract with brown sugar showed $1.6{\times}10^6$ viable cell counts and $21.2\%$ reducing sugar. Formation of $CO_2$ gas was superior to the dropwort fermented with brown sugar or oligosaccharide. The dropwort extract with fructose syrup indicated $9.0{\times}10^3$ viable cell counts and $50.1\%$ reducing sugar. Microorganism present in fermented dropwort extract was effectively pasteurized by the addition of $3\%$ citric acid and heat-treatment at $85^{\circ}C$ for 15 min, resulting in the less production of $CO_2$ gas. The dropwort extracts prepared with brownsugar, fructose syrup or oligosaccharide was suitable for the standardization that required for plant extract in Korea Food Codex.

Traditionally, the Sozialdemokratitische Partei Deutschlands(SPD) guards strictly radical welfare conception and intends to support the disabled with universal welfare-political instruments. After the oil-shock in 1973, European welfare states including Germany had experienced stark financial crisis because of economic unstability and increasing social expenditure. The political direction of SPD has been gradually changed. This transformation has been reflected automatically on the welfare policy for the disabled. In Germany, Gerhard Schroeder who leads the SPD governs since 1998. The Schroeder's new conception of welfare policy is known as the Third Way("neue Mitte") that the social economic structure intends to neo-liberalistic trend. The concern on the employment policy for the disabled has grown recently in neo-liberalistic age, but research on German employment policy for the disabled is very limited in quantity and depth. The main purpose of this study is to examine how the employment policy for the disabled of Schroeder-government has been developing in Germany. And this paper evaluates the effect of transforming policy. Based on this evaluation, this paper attempts to manifest the problem of Korean employment policy for the disabled and to find the implications of German model.

Functional relationship between the Fermentation characteristics of Functional relationship between the Fermentation characteristics of S. cerevisiae SIV-89 and the fermentation time was investigated. According to the increase in the initial sugar cone. from 50g/L to 80 g/L, maximum specific growth rate and maximum specific alcohol production rate were increased until 0.35 and 1.98. But the two values were decreased with increase of initial sugar cone. in the region of more that 80 g/L. Maximum alcohol yield and biomass yield were 0.45 and 0.15 respectively. However those vlaue were found to be reduced with the argument of initial sugar concentration. Sugar conversion was decreased with sugar concentration. When the sugar concentration was more than 190 g/L, the conversion was dropped below 70%. The increase of alcohol concentration in the fermentation broth induced the phenomenon of decline of metabolism. In case of more than 80 g/L of alcohol conc., biomass growth and alcohol production were completely stopped regardless of remaining sugar concentration.

In this paper is studied a method of interfacing microcomputer system with an ordinary cassette tape recorder The use of a parallel interface adapter has made it possible not only to construct a byte in software method but also to control noter operation of the recorder. Considerable improvement of the data handling speed is accomplished in spite of a relatively simplified network configurations.

The effects of sugar on secretion of total protein and protease into the medium were investigated in transgenic tobacco cells. The dry cell weight reached 14.62 g/L. At 60 g/L sugar and 10day, the maximum concentration tested. the total protein, protease was present in the culture medium at 68.6 mg/L, 3645 U/L.

닭의 간은 해독작용, 당의 저장, 혈장 단백질의 합성 등 주요 기능을 하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구는 간에서 성장 단계별로 발현량에 차이를 보이는 단백질들을 비교해 보았다. 2차원적 전기 영동에 의해 분리된 300개 이상의 단백질들이 확인되었으며 이 중 성장 단계별 특이적인 13개의 단백질은 MALDI-TOF MS에 의하여 분석이 되어졌다. 본 연구를 통하여 밝혀진 단백질들은 생화학적인 연구에 중요한 자료를 제공할 것으로 사료된다.

Browning intensity is a major factor to estimate the quality of red ginseng or red ginseng products. The Maillard type of browning reaction proceeds nonenzymatically during extraction and concentration of red ginseng. The present studies were carried out to investigate the effects of amino acids and sugars on the browning reaction during extraction and concentration of red ginseng. Red ginseng was pulverized to 115 mesh and then tenfold (v/w) of water was added to the powder to make the substrate of red ginseng. Solution (0.1 M) of fourteen amino acids and of folly silgars were added to the substrates of red ginseng powder and these were then extracted and concentrated to examine their browning intensities. Amino acids were more effective than sligars in acrelerating the browning reaction. Acceleration of the browning reaction in the concentrate was in the order of arginine> histidine>glycine>alanine>lysine phenyl alanine>aspartic acid>lelicine>threonine>gllitamic acid>tyrosine>valine>istleucine>methionine for amino acids, and was glucose>frlictose >silcrose, maltose for sugars.

본 연구는 국립국악원 우면당의 개보수공사에 있어서 새로이 변경되는 객석의 형태와 규모 및 목적에 맞는 최적의 실내음향설계를 제시하기 위하여 현재의 우면당 실내음향의 문제점을 파?하고 설계된 도면을 기초로 하여 과학적으로 분석, 평가함으로서 국악공연에 적합한 최적의 음향성능을 창출하고 이에 따른 실내마감 자재 및 설계, 시공방법 등을 제시하였다. 또한 시공후 음향성능에 대한 평가작업을 시행하여 시공전과 비교함으로서 그 개선의 결과를 검증하였다.
