Verification on Damage Calculating Method of Vibration Fatigue Using Uni-axial Vibration Test (단축가진 시험을 통한 진동내구 손상도 계산)

  • The vibration fatigue is suitable case of fatigue problem that system is exposed to the random or other irregular sources. Even some kinds of effort using power spectral density (PSD) and statistical concept was presented to cope with the intangible force signal, it is still lack of providing a reasonable solution when its exciting frequency is near or beyond of first eigenvalue. In this paper, energy approach method is presented to calculate a vibration induced fatigue damage in frequency domain. Since the corresponding damage become much larger than nominal case when the vibration is coupled with a mode shape of given structure, the new technique compensate the characteristics of structure with a measured frequency response function (FRF) between forcing acceleration and responding stress.

  • 본 논문에서는 위치-속도 모드전환 제어기를 제안하고 이 제어기를 활용한 운동범위 제약을 가진 기계의 연착륙 방법을 제시한다. EGR 밸브와 같은 기계제품들은 이동할 수 있는 범위를 가지며 범위 내에서 위치를 제어한다. 위치제어 중 양끝 위치로 이동시 기계는 빠른 속도로 충돌할 수 있다. 속도가 빠르면 빠를수록 충돌 시, 충격력이 커지며, 충격력으로 기구물은 빠르게 마모되고 수명을 단축시킬 수 있다. 따라서 양끝 위치 이동 시, 일시적으로 속도를 제어할 수 있는 제어기가 필요하다. 제안된 위치-속도 모드전환제어기는 Hanus Scheme을 사용하여 모드전환 시, 범프효과로 인한 부작용을 감소시켰으며, 모드전환 이후 모드 전환된 제어기의 지령을 빠르게 추종한다. 마지막으로, EGR 밸브 양끝 위치 학습알고리즘에 적용시켜 시험하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 피로 크랙 발생 및 파단수명의 통계학적 분포특성을 명확히 하 기 위해서 단축인장을 받고, 크랙 선단 곡율반경이 일정한 중앙 크랙을 가진 81개의 시험편을 사용하여 4개의 응력 레벨하에서 피로 시험을 행한후 많은 데이터들로 부터 피로크랙의 발생, 파단특성에 대한 신뢰성 있는 통계학적 확률특성을 제시하고, 이들 데이터를 활용하여 수명예측을 행해보고저 한다.

  • In this paper, we have developed the multiple channel measurement system for IC Socket Test. The one can test the current-voltage measurements for pitting the several device specification, which analyze the thin current from several ㎂ to 5A with very low resistor mΩ. The increasement of the IC socket channel with lead pitch under 0.25 mm be need to perform several functions, concurrently. The system to perform these functions be designed to integrate several SMU(source measure unit) on board. So, we can reduce the 2 minutes test time per channel point to 40 sec, with daisy chain test method. Using by graphic interface, I-V curve mode and data logging technologies, we can implement the test flow methods and can make economies the time and cost.

International Research Status on Spent Nuclear Fuel Structural Integrity Tests Considering Vibration and Shock Loads Under Normal Conditions of Transport (정상운반조건의 진동 및 충격하중을 고려한 사용후핵연료의 구조적 건전성 시험평가 해외연구현황)

  • Currently, the development of evaluation technology for vibration and shock load characteristics and spent nuclear fuel structural integrity under normal conditions of transport is being conducted in the Republic of Korea. This is the first such research conducted in the Republic of Korea and, thus, previous international studies need to be investigated and will be referred to in the ongoing project. Before 2000, several studies related to measurement of vibration and shock loads on spent nuclear fuel were conducted in the US. US national research institutes conducted uniaxial fuel assembly shaker tests, concrete block tests, and multi-axis fuel assembly tests between 2009 and 2016. In 2017, multi-modal transportation tests including road, sea, and rail transport were also performed by research institutes from the US, Spain and the Republic of Korea. Therefore, test preparation procedures, acceleration and strain measurement results, and finite-element and multi-body dynamics analysis were investigated. Based on the measured strain data, the preliminary conclusion was obtained that the measured strain was too small to cause damage to spent nuclear fuel rods. However, this conclusion is a preliminary conclusion that only reviews part of the results; a detailed review is being conducted in the US. The investigation of international studies on spent nuclear fuel structural integrity tests considering vibration and shock loads under normal conditions of transport in the US will be useful data for the project being conducted in the Republic of Korea.

  • 프리캐스트 콘크리트 박스 암거는 현장 타설식 암거에 비해 구조물의 고품질화 및 반복적인 대량생산으로 원가 절감과 건식화 시공으로 인한 공정의 단순화와 공기가 단축되는 이점을 지니고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 상재 허용하중을 확보하고, 시공성 및 내구성이 뛰어나며, 경제성을 고려한 고성능 프리캐스트 박스 암거를 개발하고 향후 고성능 프리캐스트 박스 암거를 생산하기 위한 기초적인 자료를 제시하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 보통 포틀랜드 시멘트를 이용한 프리캐스트 박스 암거의 경제성 및 내구성, 강도특성을 개선하고자 고로슬래그를 이용하여 최적의 배합비를 산출하고, 이를 토대로 중성화, 염해, 동결융해 등의 시험을 통해 내구성을 확보하고, 휨 성능을 확인하고자 실물박스암거를 제작하여 외압강도시험을 실시하였다. 또한 구조해석을 통해 응력검토를 하였다. 내구성 검토 결과, 분말도 $6,000cm^2/g$을 가진 고로슬래그 미분말을 50%로 혼입한 콘크리트가 보통 포틀랜드 시멘트를 사용한 콘크리트보다 염화물이온 투과성에 대한 저항성 및 동결융해 저항성 등 기초물성 및 내구성이 개선됨을 알 수 있었다. 박스암거에 대한 휨 시험 결과, OPC에 비해 GFSC6의 경우는 크게 구조적 성능이 떨어지지는 않는 것으로 나타났으며, 균열양상 및 연성도에서는 우수함을 나타냈다. ABAQUS에 의한 비선형 해석 결과는 시험체의 휨 거동을 잘 묘사하는 것으로 나타났으며, 처짐의 경우 시험체의 시험결과보다 크게 나타났지만, 처짐 양상은 비슷한 것을 알 수 있었고, 벽체와 상부 슬래브에 발생하는 응력은 부재가 허용하는 균열응력값 이내로 나타남에 따라 사용하중 상태에서의 응력검토는 안전한 것으로 판단된다.

  • The damage identification in a flexible system requires modal informations which is represented by FRF(Frequency response function) or modal parameters. In this paper, energy isoclines are introduced to access the prediction of fatigue damage on a flexible component exposed mainly to the exciting source rather than external forces. After deriving the concerned function, energy isoclines, from the investigation of the relationship between energy and damage, its practical application is explained by the simple uni-axial excitation test for the notched round bar.

A Study on Constructability Estimation of Multi-component High Fluidity Concrete based on Mock-up Test (모의실험체에 의한 다성분계 고유동 콘크리트의 시공성능 평가에 관한 연구)

  • As structures become larger, taller, and more diverse, a high degree of technology and expertise are required in the construction industry. However, it has been becoming difficult to construct under severe conditions and to fulfill the high performance needs of structures due to a lack of skilled construction engineers. To compensate for these weak points, high-performance concrete and performance specifications have been developed. The application of reliable high-fluidity concrete, which is one of these efforts, is expected to be effective in terms of overcoming severe conditions, reducing the number of workers required, and shortening the construction period. In order to apply high fluidity concrete in the field, practical mock-up tests were carried out to estimate whether self-compaction concrete could satisfy constructability needs. From the results, it was verified that the multi-component high fluidity concrete has excellent flowability in practical structures. In addition, it was shown that the temperature distribution in the concrete due to hydration heat is satisfactory. As a result, it is judged that multi-component high fluidity concrete can be utilized as an effective building material for various structures, including structures related to the electric power industry.

Development of electro hydraulic ballast remote valve control system with diagnostic function using redundant modbus communication (이중화 모드버스 통신을 이용한 퍼지기반 고장진단기능을 가진 선박 밸러스트 전기유압식 원격밸브제어시스템 개발)

  • This paper describes development of distributed type independent electro-hydraulic ballast valve remote control system with diagnostic function based on fuzzy inference using redundant Modbus communication and ethernet Modbus TCP/IP. Diagnostic function estimate degradation of system components and diagnose system faults, which results in shortage of fault maintenance time and improvement of system safety. Slave devices which control each valve and master device which command, monitor and diagnose slave system are developed. Slave devices are connected to master device with redundant Modbus networks and master device is connected to ship's integrated control system with Modbus TCP/IP. Also this paper describes development of simulator to test and confirm whether developed system can be integrated with ship's integrated control and monitoring system.

Optimum Latch Contour Design for Improving Gas Circuit Breaker Performance (가스회로차단기의 성능 개선을 위한 윤곽 최적설계)

  • The dynamic characteristics of a gas circuit breaker depend on the underlying high-speed operating mechanism with a spring-actuated latch system. Many studies have been carried out to reduce the breaking time of circuit breakers. In this study, the optimum latch contour design is determined for reducing the breaking time of a circuit breaker. A multi-body dynamic model of the latch is established for analyzing the dynamic behaviors of the circuit breaker by using the MSC/ADAMS program. Simulation results are matched against experimental data. VisualDoc is employed for determining the optimal latch contour. From the optimum design, the breaking time of a gas circuit breaker is improved by about 8.6%.
