  • This study has been carried out to develop a thermo-diode system capable of adjusting heat flow direction, solar absorptivity and thermal capacity. What we call "Smart Module" here has emerged from a series of repeated processes involving design, construction and test. In all, it is found that liquid thermo-diode systems are viable in harnessing the sun's energy. The module can be applied for space heating in winter and reduce the cooling load of buildings in summer.

  • While the structural safety assessment of Cargo Containment System(CCS) in membrane type LNG carriers has to be carried out in consideration of sloshing impact pressure, it is very difficult to figure out its dynamic response behaviors due to its very complex structural arrangements/materials and complicated phenomena of sloshing impact loading. For the development of its original technique, it is necessary to understand the characteristics of dynamic response behavior of CCS structure under sloshing impact pressure. In this study, for the exact understanding of dynamic response behavior of CCS structure in membrane Mark III type LNG carriers under sloshing impact pressure, its wet drop impact response analyses were carried out by using Fluid-Structure Interaction(FSI) analysis technique of LS-DYNA code, and were also validated through a series of wet drop experiments for the enhancement of more accurate shock response analysis technique. It might be thought that the structural response behaviors of impact response analysis, such as impact pressure impulses and resulted strain time histories, generally showed very good agreement with experimental ones with very appropriate use of FSI analysis technique of LS-DYNA code, finite element modeling and material properties of CCS structure, finite element modeling and equation of state(EOS) of fluid domain.

  • For the development of the original technique of structural safety assessment of Cargo Containment System(CCS) in membrane type LNG carriers, it is necessary to understand the characteristics of dynamic response behavior of CCS structure under sloshing impact pressure. In the previous study, the wet drop impact response analyses of CCS structure in membrane Mark III type LNG carriers were carried out by using Fluid-Structure Interaction(FSI) analysis technique of LS-DYNA code, and were also validated through a series of wet drop experiments for the enhancement of more accurate shock response analysis technique. In this study, the characteristics of structural shock response behaviors of CCS structure were sufficiently figured out by careful examinations of the effects of specimen weight, drop height, incident angle, corrugation and stiffness of inner hull on its shock response behaviors. The shock response analysis of upward shooting fluid to inner hull was performed, and the reason of faster strain response than shock pressure one was also figured out.

  • More than 100 liquefied hydrogen tanks are expected to be introduced in Korea by 2030. Since liquefied hydrogen is stored in a vacuum insulation structure tank at -253℃, there is a possibility of a major disaster in which the tank bursts if there is a problem with insulation. Therefore, the law stipulates that PRV should be installed as the last bastion. It is important to note that in the case of liquefied hydrogen, it becomes useless if the pressure drop of the pipe is ignored and the capacity is calculated incorrectly. In CGA S-1.3, the pressure drop rate of the PRV inlet and outlet pipes is set to less than 3% and less than 10%, respectively. However, there is an interdependence between the amount of pressure drop and the flow rate of the pipe, making it impossible to calculate these values at once. Therefore, we developed a simulator that calculates the pressure loss rate of PRV system using MATLAB/Simulink and evaluated the sensitivity of the pressure drop rate to design elements.

Oxidation of Isopropyl Alcohol in Air by a Catalytic Plasma Reactor System (촉매-플라즈마 반응 시스템을 이용한 아이소프로필 알코올 산화)

  • A catalytic plasma reactor was employed for the oxidation of isopropyl alcohol (IPA) classified as a volatile organic compound (VOC). Copper oxide (Cu : 0.5% (w/w)) supported on a multichannel porous ceramic consisting of ${\alpha}-Al_2O_3$ was used as a catalyst, which was directly exposed to the plasma created in it. The effects of discharge voltage and reaction temperature on the concentrations of IPA and its byproducts were examined to understand the behavior of the catalytic plasma reactor. Without thermal insulation, the reactor temperature increased up to $120^{\circ}C$ at an applied voltage of 17 kV (discharge power : 28 W), and the IPA at a flow rate of $1L\;min^{-1}$ ($O_2$ : 10% (v/v); IPA : 1000 ppm) was completely removed. At temperatures below $120^{\circ}C$, however, besides the desirable product $CO_2$, several unwanted byproducts such as acetone, formaldehyde and CO were also formed from IPA. On the other hand, when the reactor was thermally insulated, the plasma discharge increased the temperature up to $265^{\circ}C$ under the same condition and most of IPA was oxidized to $CO_2$. Without loading CuO on the ceramic support, the plasma discharge in the thermally insulated reactor produced nearly equal amounts of $CO_2$ and CO. On comparison, with the catalyst alone (temperature : $265^{\circ}C$), more than 70% of the removed IPA was simply converted into another type of VOC (acetone), indicating that the catalyst assisted by the plasma is more effective in the oxidation of IPA than that of the catalyst-alone process.

  • In this study, design of LCTS(Launch Complex Thermostatting System), which is one of ground support equipments for KSLV-I, is analyzed based on CDP(Critical Design Package) provided by Russia. The thermo-hydraulic design of air preparation compartment and hydraulic design of air heating & distribution compartment performed. Also numerical simulation of air heating & distribution compartment was conducted and compared with actual measurement data. Finally, insulation design of system was analyzed. Designing method of LCTS will be helpful in developing or modifying LCTS for new launch vehicle.

  • 본 논문은 ATMS와 ATIS에서 요구되는 교통관리 및 정보제공의 효과분석을 위해, 운전자의 주행 및 경로선택 의사결정과 교통제어에 대한 반응등 운전자 행태를 모의실험에 반영함으로써 교통시스템의 실시간 특성을 모사할 수 있는 모형을 구축하고 이를 기반으로 하는 미시적 교통 모의실험기를 개발하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 본 연구에서는 운전자, 차량, 교통망, 검지 및 신호시스템, 교통정보제공시스템 등을 교통시스템의 주요 구성요소로 설정하였으며 운전자 및 차량특성, 차두시간분포와 차량발생모형, 차량주행모형, 차로변경 및 간격수락모형, 경로선택모형을 주모의실험모형을 구성하는 부모형으로 결정하였다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 각각의 부모형들에 대한 최근의 연구결과들을 검토하고, 현실모사 능력과 함께 다른 부모형들과의 연계, 모의실험기의 구현상에서의 적합성 등을 고려하여 적정모형의 선정 및 수정, 새로운 부모형의 구축을 수행하였다. 구축된 부모형을 통합하여 교통모의실험기를 개발하였으며 구축된 모형의 타당성 및 적용성 검토를 위해 현장자료 및 가상자료를 이용한 검증을 수행하였다. 검증결과 모형의 목적인 교통제어 및 정보제공등의 시스템 대안의 평가에 이용 가능한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 본 논문의 연구결과는 교통제어 및 정보제공전략 대안의 평가뿐만 아니라 차량추종 및 차로변경 등의 미시적 교통모형 연구, 동적기종점 통행량 추정, 동적통행배정의 연구에도 활용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 본 논문의 연구모형은 현단계에서는 현실의 모사 및 분석을 위한 도구보다는 새로운 대안들간의 비교평가를 위한 도구로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 이에 따라 현실모사의 정확도를 확보하기 위한 검증 및 개선이 필요할 것이며, 각 부모형들에 대한 계속적인 연구와 새롭게 발표되는 연구결과를 수용한 지속적인 개발이 필요할 것이다.유기적인 연계에 있음을 밝히고 있다. 건설을 위한 정책적 시사점과 동북아 연구개발정보 Portal 및 APEC APGrid 연구망 등의 구체적인 정보인프라 구축방안을 도출하였다.술 주기를 도출하고, 산업 내 평균 권리 청구 항목 수를 이용하여 각 산업의 기술 범위를 비교하였다. 각각의 동적 분석을 통해 시간에 따른 변화 양상이 관찰하였고, ANOVA 분석을 이용하여 통계적 유의성을 검증하였다. 본 연구는 현재의 기술 패러다임 내에서 Pavitt이 제시한 산업 분류의 근거를 보충 설명하였고 특허 정보를 이용하여 기술혁신의 산업별 유형에 대한 폭넓은 분석방법을 제시하였다.별 시간대별 효과분석을 통하여 정책의 시행여부가 결정되어야 할 것이다. 한편, 화물전용차선의 설치로 인한 물류비용의 절감을 보다 효과적으로 달성하기 위해서는 종합류류 전산망의 시급한 구축과 함께 화물차의 적재율을 높이고 공차율을 낮출 수 있는 운송체계의 수립이 필요한 것으로 판단된다. 그라나 이러한 화물전용차선의 효과는 단기적인 치유책일 수밖에 없기 때문에 물류유통 시설의 확충을 위한 사회간접자본의 구축을 서둘러 시행하여야 할 것이다.으로 처리한 Machine oil, Phenthoate EC 및 Trichlorfon WP는 비교적 약효가 낮았다.>$^{\circ}$E/$\leq$30$^{\circ}$NW 단열군이 연구지역 내에서 지하수 유동성이 가장 높은 단열군으로 추정된다. 이러한 사실은 3개 시추공을 대상으로 실시한 시추공 내 물리검층과 정압주입시험에서도 확인된다..   • Function of the window of the building is an environment of the room through the entry of solar radiation. It is vulnerable to significant energy conservation off the thermal efficiency. Also this summer, cooling costs are weighted because of excessive solar radiation. In this paper, we develop a windows automatic control system to use the indoor environmental information, such as home temperature, humidity, light intensity, solar radiation. The system collects the indoor environment information using a variety of sensor, using the collected information, and controls the motor to the system to control the window.

  • In this paper, acoustic analysis of thermoacoustic refrigerating system was given and the design procedure meeting the specifications was presented. The thermoacoustic refrigerator transforms the sound wave energy into the thermal energy via adiabatic process of inert gas. The system is composed of mainly three parts ; the acoustic motor utilizing loudspeaker the stack of plate for thermal transport and the resonator to form the standing wave. Based upon the acoustic analysis, resonator dimension and stack position and size were decided, and the entire refrigerating system was designed to the given specification. Also the mechanical Impedance of the designed resonator was obtained by simulation.

공동주택에서의 효과적인 난방열량제어 관리방안

  • 공동주택에서 난방용 에너지를 절감하기 위한 난방제어기와 난방계량기의 효과적 활용방법을 중심으로 난방열량 제어 관리방안에 대하여 기술한다. 우리나라 공동주택 난방방식에 주로 이용되고 있는 바닥패널 이용 복사난방시스템은 공간의 단열특성, 난방패널의 열적 및 수력학적 특성, 열원공급 및 제어방법에 따라 주거용 건물의 에너지소비에 큰 영향을 미치고 있으나 적절한 설계 및 운영방법이 제대로 마련되어 있지 않아 국가적인 차원에서 많은 양의 난방용 에너지가 낭비되고 있는 실정이다. 특히 공동주택에 설치되는 바닥패널 난방시스템과 관련된 문제점들로는 실내온도 및 난방열량의 제어방법과 난방용 열량의 계량방법 등을 들 수 있다. 그림 1은 공동주택에 설치된 난방제어기와 난방계량기의 모습을 보여주고 있다.
