Problem and Improvement Measure of PHC Pile Construction (PHC파일 시공관리 문제점 및 개선방안)

  • During the last few years, the use of Pre-tensioned spun High strength Concrete(PHC) pile has been gradually increased in many construction sites such as super high-rise and large building construction. there is almost no specific code and/or standard described in the specifications to check verticality for Pre-tensioned Spun High Strength Concrete pile installation process. The most commonly used method for the vortical PHC pile installation is a naked-eye measurement or water level measurement conducted by assistant crew in the construction sites. And recent analysis results of the pile cutting work revealed that it frequently makes a lot of cracks which significantly reduce the strength of the pile and is very labor intensive work, thus requiring a large amount of additional time, costs, and efforts. The main objective of the research is to analize problems and to improvement. measure of PHC Pile Construction. The improvement measure present to the main problem with survey and discussion.

  • These days, almost every industry's production line has become automatic and this phenomenon brought a lot of benefits such as increase in productivity and economical effect, assurance in industrial safety, better quality and compatibility. However, unlike industrial production line, in construction industry, automation has number of barriers like uncertainty incidents and intellectual judgment to make ability to make solution out of it. Therefore construction industry is still demanding use of construction machine through labor. Due to this matter operational labor in construction industry is aging and fading. To solve these problem, in developed nations like Europe, US or Japan are keep researching for the automation in construction and road pavement, strengthening and some other simple operations have been worked through automation but in civil engineering site, automation research is still low despite of its importance in constructional site. For automating civil engineering operation, effective operational plan have to be set by analyzing ground information acquainted. If skillful worker apply heuristics, trial & error can be reduced with increased safety and the effective work plan can be established. Hence, this research will introduce Intellectual Task Planning System for Intelligent Excavating System's effective work plan and heuristics applied in each steps.

  • In this paper, we describe the implementation of debugger that has advanced features for verifying Simulink model. The debugger provided in Simulink has some boring and repetitive work when verifying complicated Simulink models or complicated scenarios. In order to resolve the problems, this paper addresses the issues on the implementation of debugger that provides features such as a convenient feature to compare the simulation output to the expected output for specific input, to monitor system's behavior at specific time, and coverage report function in some or all input scenarios. The proposed debugger is applied to the vending machine model provided by Matlab, demonstrating its feasibility.

  • A cluster tool used in many kinds of semiconductor processes for improving the performance and the quality of wafers has a simple configuration, but its schedule is not easy because of its parallel processing module, a lack of intermediate buffers, and time constraints. While there have been many studies on its schedule, most of them have focused on full cycles in which identical work cycles are repeated under constant task times. In this research, we suggest strategies of start-up transient scheduling which satisfies time constraints and converges into a desirable steady schedule for full work cycle. The proposed schedules are expected robust under the stationary stochastic task times. Finally, we show that the strategies make schedules enters the desirable steady schedule and robust using the simulation.

  • The Internet reservation service is one of the most utilized internet services, specifically the agent efficiently supports this reservation services. The Agent will replace the repetitious reservation process and selectively offering the most proper service information. In this study, the user assisting agent system that can enable people to make reservation of public transportations through the internet is designed and implemented. This system consists of multiple agents that are Interface agent, 4ask agents and filtering agent. The interface agent is an arbitrator of this system that analyzes user's demand and integrate agent's result. And it has user-adaptive capability using case-based reasoning. There are three task agents if this system, it executes information gathering and information-change monitoring of each. Filtering agent extracts information only about reservation status in gathered information. Finally, this system is to offer integrated information of the reservation status about train and airplane and execute the simple-repetitious works for the reservation instead of user by agents.

  • This study is considered how retro design concepts that are used pop art can be expressed through overview of theories and cases, and suggested applying to retro design. As a result, we found first, concepts reflecting popular image, second, popular hero concepts simply represented pop art's feature. Third, there were no cases that are expressing the wounds made by political life. The most of cases expressed retro design with pop art representation techniques rather than reflecting of pop art's ideology or spirit. Pop art's retro design should be expressed as a modern style not only with reproduction of pop art, but also with designer's creativity and pop art's ideology and reinterpretation of formative meaning. Thus, it needs to set a concept by exploring of modern globalized mass media or daily life of people. Also, it should applying people's entertainment, spare time and fantasy to bright cheerful mood of pop art to express each area of design.

  • 현대기술의 발달로 인해 인간의 삶 중 많은 부분을 기계가 차지하고 있다. 특히 로봇공학 분야는 위험하거나 혹은 매우 정밀함을 요하는 일, 단순반복 등 인간이 기피하거나 하기 어려운 일을 대신 해줌으로서 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 이에 우리는 우리 생활에 가장 깊숙히 들어와 있는 로봇팔분야에 대해 말하고자 한다. 현재 로봇팔은 산업용은 물론, 의료용, 재해용 등 다양한 분야에서 사용되고 있다. 하지만 매우 정밀하고 정확한 작업을 위해 만들어져 있음에도 불구하고, 약간의 충격에도 이상이 생긴다거나, 기기의 이음세 부분의 잦은 회전으로 마모가 발생하게 되고 그에 따라 미세한 오차가 발생한다. 그런 상황을 방지하고자, 우리는 PSD(Position Sensitive Detecter)센서를 이용해 실시간으로 굽힘각을 측정 및 감시하여 보다 정확한 구동을 유도하려 한다. 이는 단순한 로봇팔만이 아닌 휴머노이드나 다른 회전을 이용하는 기기라면 어디든 쉽게 적용 할 수 있을 것이다.

Development of High Precision Docking Sensor for Mobile Robot (이동로봇을 위한 고정밀 도킹센서 개발)

  • Mobile robots performed various missions in various environments. In order to move to target precisely, the mobile robots need a precise position sensing system In this paper, a new high precision docking sensor is proposed. Proposed docking sensor consists of linear CCD(charge coupled device) sensor and ultrasonic sensors. The docking sensor system can measure lateral position(X), longitudinal position(Y) and angle(${\theta}$) between the sensor and flat target with simple mark. Two ultrasonic sensors measure two distances which can be converted to longitudinal position and angle. Linear CCD sensor measures lateral position using center mark of the target. To verify performance of the sensor, the sensor is applied to an omnidirectional mobile robot. Several experimental results show highly precise performance of the sensor. Repeatability of the docking sensor is less than 1mm and $0.2^{\circ}$. Proposed docking sensor can be applied for precise docking of mobile robot.

  • The Korean domestic cartoon industry has grown explosively by 65% compared to the previous year. Then the market size is expected to exceed KRW 1 trillion. However, excessive work results in health deterioration. Moreover, this working environment makes the production of human resources insufficient, repeating a vicious cycle. Although some tasks require creation activity during cartoon production, there are still a lot of simple repetitive tasks. Therefore, this study aimed to develop a method for creating a character pose through human pose estimation (HPE). The HPE is to detect key points for each joint of a user. The primary role of the proposed method was to make each joint of the character match that of the human. The proposed method enabled us to create the pose of the two-dimensional cartoon character through the results. Furthermore, it was possible to save the static image for one character pose and the video for continuous character pose.

A Study on the RPA Module Implementation of Cloud Travel and Expense Management System (클라우드 경비지출관리 솔루션의 RPA 모듈 구현에 관한 연구)

  • As the realization of the 4th industrial revolution is approaching, the paradigm of the corporate work environment is changing to digital, from the traditional work environment. In particular, technologies like RPA(robotic process automation) and chatbot reduce the need for human labor or task by automating simple repetitive tasks, enabling humans to focus on more valuable tasks. In this study, corporates operating expense management services in public cloud computing environments develop a cloud module that simplifies expense report management by grafting robotic process automation and chatbot technology. According to the result of the expert evaluation, the developed system marked 80.3% of satisfaction levels and the highest satisfaction level 94% was confirmed in terms of easy of use. Based on the research result, future research can be suggested to expand the works occurring inside and outside the company to a single RPA environment by additionally linking the work system related to expense management.
