Comparison of Single Imputation Methods in 2×2 Cross-Over Design with Missing Observations (2×2 교차계획법에서 결측치가 있을 때의 결측치 처리 방법 비교에 관한 연구)

  • A cross-over design is frequently used in clinical trials (especially in bioequivalence tests with a parametric method) for the comparison of two treatments. Missing values frequently take place in cross-over designs in the second period. Usually, subjects that have missing values are removed and analyzed. However, it can be unsuitable in clinical trials with a small sample size. In this paper, we compare single imputation methods in a $2{\times}2$ cross-over design when missing values exist in the second period. Additionally, parametric and nonparametric methods are compared after applying single imputation methods. A Monte-Carlo simulation study compares type I error and the power of methods.

An Imputation for Nonresponses in the Survey on the Rural Living Indicators (농촌생활지표조사에서 무응답 대체 : 사례)

  • Survey on the rural living indicators was the statistic approved from National Statistical Office and the survey executed by rural resources development institute. This study was used the raw data of survey on the rural living indicators in 2005. After editing procedure for raw data, we were studied 1,582 households which is acquired through elimination of case included nonresponses, and imputed a nonresponses of 15 item selected from 146 item. The imputation methods and efficiency of imputation for simulation was adapted differently from type of data. For continuous data, we imputed the nonresponses with mean imputation, regression imputation, adjusted grey-based k-NN imputation(DU, DW, WU, WW) and compared the results with RMSE. For categorical data, we imputed the nonresponses with mode method, probability imputation, conditional mode method, conditional probability method, hot-deck imputation, and compared the results with Accuracy. By the results, regression imputation and adjusted grey-based k-NN imputation appropriated for continuous data and hot-deck imputation appropriated for categorical data.

  • An experimental study for a crane hook was performed to investigate the stress distribution along a certain line where the maximum and minimum stresses to be developed. On this line, the isoclinic fringe and/or principal stress direction is constant. The crane hook was modeled into a 2-dimensional plate made of urethane rubber called 'Photoflex' The Photoflex is very sensitive to a load and has low photoelastic fringe constant. The Tardy compensation method with the fringe sharpening process and the 4-step phase shifting method, was used for the photoelastic technique. Experimental results by photoelasticity were compared with the calculated stresses from the simple curved beam theory and tile finite element analysis. Ail the results were close to each other.

  • 본 연구에서는 기존의 자성 웨지의 제조공정을 대체하여 제조 공정이 단순하고, 그의 정밀성이 우수한 tape casting-lamination법에 의한 자성 웨지의 제조 공정의 적용 가능성에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 철 분말과 에폭시 slurry는 우수한 tape casting 특성을 보여주었으며, 이렇게 얻어진 green tape과 유리 섬유를 적층하여 자성 웨지를 얻었다. 이러한 과정을 거쳐서 얻어진 제품의 품질 특성을 평가한 결과, 기존의 제조 공정으로 얻어진 제품에 비하여 품질의 균일성이 우수하며, 제조 공정을 혁신적으로 단축하는 것이 가능한 것을 보여주고 있다.

  • 최근 회전계의 고속화, 소형화 및 정숙운전에 대한 요구가 엄격해짐에 따라 볼베어링을 저어널베어링으로 대체하는 흐름이 증가하고 있으나, 저어널베어링의 기본 구조상 운전시 여러 종류의 진동모드가 발생되며 이에 따라 엄밀한 설계가 요구된다. 이러한 요구에 따라 본 연구에서는 불안정성을 억제할 수 있는 것으로 알려진 빗살무늬 저어널베어링을 대상으로 하여 보다 정확한 설계를 위한 수치해석 프로그램을 개발하였다. 빗살무늬저어널베어링의 해석법으로는 간극의 비선형성을 단순화 시키기 위하여 무한홈을 가정한 협곡이론을 시초로 하여 최근에는 컴류터 계산속도의 발달로 실제 형상에 대해 해석한 직접계산법 등이 알려져 있다. 직접계산법은 협곡이론에 의한 계산법에 비해 많은 시간이 걸리는 단점이 있으나, 베어링이 소형화되어 실제 많은 홈을 가공하기 힘들거나 홈이 원호형으로서 직각홈으로 가정하기가 곤란한 요소에서는 협곡이론을 적용하는데 무리가 있을 것으로 사료된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 직접계산법을 채택하여 소형 베어링 모델에 대한 부하특성을 수치해석하고, 이를 협곡이론과의 비교를 통하여 그 차이점을 검토하였다. 이를 위해 압축성을 고려한 레이놀즈 방정식에 대한 베어링 주위의 압력분포를 계산하는 프로그램을 제작하였으며, 주어진 설계조건하에서 빗살무늬 형상을 결정하는 피라미터들의 최적값을 산출하고, 아울러 플레인저어널베어링과의 비교를 통하여 설계조건에 따른 빗살무늬저어널베어링의 기존 불베어리의 대체 가능성을 평가하였다.

Design of Simple Direct Comparison Measurement System from 10 MHz to 1 GHz for Thermistor Mounts Calibration (서미스터 마운트 교정을 위한 10 MHz에서 1 GHz 주파수 대역의 단순 직접 비교 측정시스템 설계)

  • The thermistor mount is used for precise RF power measurement because the calibration factor is constant according to the change of power. The calibration factor of the standard mount can be measured with an uncertainty less than 0.5 % from the 10 MHz to 1 GHz by direct comparison with the transfer standard using the DC substitution method. Recently, as the supply of precision power meter based on DC substitution method allows simple and fast measurement, a simple direct comparison measurement system with the same level uncertainty was designed and the minimum required specifications of components through analysis of mismatch error was proposed. The uncertainty was evaluated for system validation, and the results show that uncertainties have been well maintained within 0.5 % in the measurement frequencies.

  • The dynamic resilient modulus tests to determine the $M_R$ of the soils require expensive equipments and well trained personnels to obtain reliable test results. These problems inherent in the dynamic resilient modulus testing have been realized as major negative factors to hinder the $M_R$ test from being practically implemented as a routine test. In this regard. it is highly desirable to develop a simpler alternative testing method incorporating inexpensive equipments and easy-to-perform testing procedures. Developed in this study is an alternative $M_R$ test method based on statically repeated loading scheme utilizing the standard static triaxial test equipments. Applicability and limitations of the developed static $M_R$ testing method are investigated for typical subgrade soils in Korea.

  • This paper proposes an evaluation to Target Factor Values of Port State Control Inspections(PSCITFV) using AHP because PSCITFV is very simple methode, This AHP is the more rational and objective methode than existing TFV methode. AHP is relative measurement., but, weights should be re-calculation whenever alternative plan add. To this solve, therefore, this paper, used an absolute measurement and involved an marine casualty factor in PSCITFV, that IMO go ahead with it., Also, accomplished with evaluation some ships for the practice.

  • 복잡한 리듬의 근간에는 소위 폴리리듬이라 일컫는 리듬이 자주 등장하는데, 폴리리듬이란 한마디로 기존의 펄스에 반하는 새로운 펄스의 리듬이 기존의 리듬과 동시에 진행되는 복합리듬을 얘기하는 것이다. 이때 단순한 폴리리듬(예를 들면 2:3, 3:4등)은 우리가 쉽고 또 정확하게 접근할 수 있으나 복잡한 폴리리듬은 아주 숙련된 연주자들조차도 정확히 연주하기가 어렵다. 이에 본 논문에서는 이러한 복잡한 폴리리듬을 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 방법으로 '가상 리듬 연주법'이라는 새로운 개념을 도입하고자한다. 이것의 가장 핵심적인 내용은 복잡한 폴리리듬의 정확한 연주는 그 수학적 복잡성으로 인해 어렵지만 그 수학적 복잡성의 근사치에 해당하는 우리가 이해하기 쉬운 다른 리듬으로 대체하여 연주하는 방법을 이용하여 그 이해도를 높이자는 것이다.

Analytical Study on Performance Evaluation of Large-Sized Silencer using Geometric Similarity Law (기하상사법을 이용한 대형 소음기의 성능평가에 관한 해석적 연구)

  • In this paper, a geometric similarity law is introduced to the performance test of a large-sized silencer used in ship engine or plant system. A test of scale-down model enable to yield the cost and time saving in developing large-sized silencer considerably. Two types of silencer, resonator and expansion chamber, were analyzed by a theoretical method and an acoustical FEM(finite element method) in order to obtain geometric similarity variables. A method is proposed to estimate the transmission loss of prototype model using the test results of scale-down model. Two actual large-sized silencer, which consist of resonator and expansion chamber, were analysed by an acoustical FE analysis. Consequently, the proposed method predicts effectively the performance of prototype silencers using those of scale-down models.
