Design of a Low Drop-out Regulator with a UVLO Protection Function (UVLO 보호기능이 추가된 LDO 레귤레이터 설계)

  • This paper presents a design of the CMOS LDO regulator with a UVLO protection function for a high speed PMIC. Proposed LDO regulator circuit consists of a BGR reference circuit, an error amplifier and a power transistor and so on. UVLO block between the power transistor and the power supply is added for a low input protection function. Also, UVLO block showed normal operation with turn-off voltage of 2.7V and turn-on voltage of 4 V in condition of 5 V power supply. Proposed circuit generated fixed 3.3 V from a supply of 5V. From SPICE simulation results using a $1{\mu}m$ high voltage CMOS technology, simulation results were 5.88 mV/V line regulation and 27.5 uV/mA load regulation with load current 0 mA to 200 mA.

  • This study is the mono signal detector and the multitype detector of mono signal On/Off circuit type. The multi functional base circuit focused on which is made of compatible with exiting fire detector base. The multi functional base circuit generates two fire signals at the same time, so it can link the existing fire alarm system with security system. The base circuit is easily able to be connected to exiting HA or OA facilities, having stability and reliability. As a result of the study, the multi functional base circuit has met the acceptance criteria of related national standards. Also, the security system of input signal can contribute to the smallest loss of lives and the property.

  • We described a miniaturization of microstrip filters by the exact synthesis. With the exact synthesis, we can design completely new circuits physically realizable. The complex procedure for the network synthesis could be reduced by using computer software. It is a new design procedure ensuring the creation of optimum networks which have minimum number of elements. The exact synthesis gives more possibilities to make wideband filters which require bandwidth of 50~100 %. S-plane Bandpass prototypes are made with non-redundant filter synthesis technique that has transmission zero locations at required frequencies. Because this method uses the transmission lines which lengths are ${\lambda}$/4 at the stopband center frequency, we can reduce the size of the filter dramatically.

  • Multi-Cultural Family Support Act means that to lead a stable family life in Korea by improves the quality of life for members of multi-cultural families through the extensive support and ultimately it refers to a law designed to contribute to the integration between society and them. This Law was newly enacted as Law No. 8937 in March 21, 2008. And through the six times amendments it improve the part of the lack also now in February 18, 2015, some amendments are submitted by Jasmine Lee with 12 lawmakers. Now in 2015, the number of foreigners who living in Korea are beyond 150 million and it can see that has entered into a full-fledged multi-cultural society. And it can place a greater significance that had laid the foundation of the various support policies to lead a stable family life for members of multi-cultural families. However, the problem that much current law which associated with the Multi-cultural Family Support Act cannot accept the social changes has emerged. Thus, in this paper try to present a legislative plan that can respond appropriately to the real world through the analysis of it.

  • Korea society has become a multicultural society by the mid-1990s. It is difficult to adapt to multicultural youth social acceptance without contrast. In particular, Multicultural youth compared to the general characteristics of the home environment was much influenced by the growth. Multicultural youth has plain color, Eye color that general problems of the exchange is not easy, family-friendly social life, make friends and influence more than the home was subjected to environmental impact. In other words, parenting is influenced by the family-friendly social life. multi-cultural families many of the country are concentrated in low-income. Consequently, the home environment is affected by property delinquency. This study was research targeting multicultural youth.

  • Our society is moving from a monocultural society of a homogeneous nation to a multi-cultural society as a lot of foreigners are flowing into the country with the advent of globalization and with an effort to secure labor force for economic growth. So, multi-cultural families composed of members using different languages spring up everywhere, but the children in these multi-cultural families have difficulties in acquiring Korean language and are socially maladjusted because of the bilingual environment. The goal of this study is to help enhance the language capabilities and socialities of the children in the multi-cultural families through fine arts using artistic methods. The study method was to analyze the high-quality effects of the fine arts with the theoretical research materials and theses showing the real conditions of the multi-cultural families. And I proposed some ways to improve the linguistic abilities and socialities of the children in the multi-cultural families with the utilization of fine arts. As a result, Firstly, An active use of the bilingual instructors and artistic multimedia is educationally necessary to overcome language restrictions. Secondly, Various ways to utilize fine arts are necessary to improve learning abilities of other subjects. Thirdly, Artistic plays and experiential activities need to be largely applied to education to enhance the abilities of emotional control and socialities. Finally, Integrated culture and art education is essential not only for creativities and socialities but also for personalities for community life.

Design and Fabrication of Flexible Thin Multilayered Planar Coil for Micro Electromagnetic Induction Energy Harvester (초소형 전자기 유도방식 에너지 하베스터용 연성 박막 다적층 평판 코일 설계 및 제작)

  • In this paper, an energy harvester is developed that has advantages regarding piezoelectric noise minimization, mass production, and an easily available environmental energy source, electromagnetic induction, as well as low-frequency bandwidth and high amplitude. A process for fabricating a three-dimensional multilayered planar coil using micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) on a flexible printed circuit board FPCB is introduced. Optimal shape and size were calculated via internal resistance and inductance, and a prototype was fabricated through the MEMS procedure while considering the possibility of mass production. Although the internal resistance matched the designed value, the electromotive force generated did not reach the intended amount. The main reason for the decrease in efficiency was the low area of coil outskirt exposed to the magnetic field while there was relative motion between the magnet and the coil.

  • 본 논문은 입출력 전력품질이 우수하고 전압별 시리즈화가 용이한 Cascaded H-브릿지 멀티레벨 전력 회로를 적용한 고압 대용량 전동기 구동용 11,000V / 13,800V 고압인버터 개발에 관하여 기술하였다. 기존에 개발된 3,300V/200kVA - 6,600V/8,000kVA 고압인버터의 단상 인버터로 구성된 개별 파워 셀 전압 증대, 파워 셀의 직렬 갯수 추가, 입력 위상 전이 다권선 변압기 2차 권선수 확장, 그리고 분산 제어 기능을 확대하는 방식을 적용하여 전압을 증가시켰다. 실용량 제품의 제작 (11,000V/1,000kVA, 13,800V/2,400kVA) 및 실험을 통하여 개발된 11,000V/13,800V 고압인버터의 성능을 확인하였다.

Integrated Circuit Design Using Multi-Characteristic Robust Design (다특성 강건설계법을 이용한 집적회로설계)

  • The ever increasing demands for enhanced competitiveness of engineered products require a "designing-in-quality" strategy that can effectively and efficiently incorporate concepts of uncertainty, quality, and robustness into design. Engineered design optimization approaches that are typically carried out with respect to a single objective become inadequate to address these multiple set of requirements. This paper presents a design metric for a multi-attribute robust design problem with designer′s preferences on the performance accuracy and the performance precision. The use of this design metric as the robust optimal design criterion in multi-stage experimentation and modeling technique is presented. The effectiveness of the overall design procedure and the performance of the proposed design metric are tested with the aid of IC design and the results are discussed.

  • 최근 전자기술의 발달로 인해 인쇄 회로 기판(Printed Circuit Board)이 정밀화되고 세분화됨에 따라 고도로 집약되어 육안에 의한 시각검사 방법이 어려워지고 있다. 이에 따라 컴퓨터 시각 기술을 이용한 자동시각검사가 점차 늘어가는 추세다. 이러한 PCB의 설계 또는 검사 시 참조할 이미지를 만드는 방법 중 하나로 Gerber Interface로 표현된 PCB용 CAD파일인 거버파일을 이용하여 디지털 이미지를 생성하는 법이 널리 이용되고 있다. 반면 이러한 파일 및 이미지는 상호간에 인과관계(causality)를 가지며, 이미지 유출시 그 피해가 크다. 따라서 생성된 이미지를 효과적으로 보호하고 관리해야할 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서 상기의 인과관계를 이용하여 이를 관리하고 보호하는 이미지 권한관리 기법을 제안한다.
