Optimization of the Spring Design Parameters of a Circuit Breaker for Satisfying Specified Dynamic Characteristics (규정된 동적특성을 위한 회로차단기의 스프링 설계변수의 최적화)

  • In a vacuum circuit breaker mechanism, a spring-actuated linkage system is used to satisfy the desired opening and closing characteristics of electric contacts. If the type and structure of the linkage system required to the circuit breaker is predetermined, the stiffness, free length and attachment points of a spring become the important design parameters. In this paper, based on the energy conservation that the total system energy is constant throughout the operating range of the mechanism, a systematic procedure for optimizing the spring design parameters is developed and applied to the simplified mechanism of a circuit breaker. Then, in order to consider the complex dynamics of the circuit breaker mechanism rather well, the developed procedure is converted to the environment of a multi-body dynamics program ADAMS.

  • 본 논문은 태양광 발전 시스템의 차동 전력 조절 방식 중 Feed-Foward 방식을 적용한 다중 출력 플라이백 컨버터를 이용하여 DC_Link 다중 출력 전압을 균등화 하는 회로에 대한 내용이다. DC_Link가 여러 단으로 되어 있을 경우, 전압을 일정하게 맞추어 줄 필요가 있는데, 이를 차동 전력 조절기(Differential Power Processing converter)를 통해서 DC_Link 출력 전압을 균등화 할 수 있다. 스트링 컨버터인 부스트 컨버터의 스트링 전류를 제어 하여 부스트 컨버터의 전력과 DPP역할을 하는 다중 출력 플라이백 컨버터로 전달되는 전력을 조정가능하다. 이를 통하여 전압 균등화가 이루어지게 할 수 있고, 각 DPP 컨버터는 PV 전압 제어를 하여 MPPT 동작을 하게 된다. PSIM 시뮬레이션과 150W급 하드웨어 프로토타입을 제작해 실험을 통하여 검증 하였다.

  • 날씨가 더운지방에 소규모(小規模) 목장(牧場)들이 먼거리를 두고 산재(散在)되어 있는 경우, 각목장(各牧場)에서 생산(生産)된 우유(牛乳)를 수집(收集)해서 처리공장(處理工場)까지 수송하는 데는 많은 어려움이 있다. 현대화(現代化)된 우유처리공장(牛乳處理工場)이나 저온저장시설이 충분(充分)하지 못한 아열대지방(亞熱帶地方)에 위치(位置)한 발전도상국에서는 우유(牛乳)를 장시간(長時間) 수집(收集)하여 먼거리를 수송하는 동안 많은 양(量)의 우유(牛乳)가 부패 손실(損失)되고 있다. 이 문제를 해결(解決)하기 위하여, 그곳 현지목장(現地牧場)에 강하게 쪼이는 태양열(太陽熱)을 이용(利用)하는 것은 대단히 바람직 하다. 에너지 절약이나, 우유(牛乳)의 부패손실(腐敗損失) 막기 위하여, 태양열(太陽熱)을 이용(利用)한 소규모우유처리기(小規模牛乳處理機)를 개발하여 현지목장(現地牧場)에서 직접(直接) 우유를 처리(處理)하여 인근주민에게 공급하는 것이 가장좋은 해결방법이라 판단하고, 그 실현가능성을 확인(確認)하기 위하여 실제로 태양열(太陽熱)우유처리기(處理機) 개발(開發)을 위한 그 모형(模型)의 회로구성(回路構成)을 고찰(考察)한 결과(結果) 다음과 같다. 1. 태양열(太陽熱) 우유처리기(牛乳處理機)의 모형(模型)은 다음 4개(個)의 회로(回路)로 구성(構成)되었다. 가. 우유(牛乳)순환 회로(回路) 나. 가열회로(加熱回路) 다. 예냉회로(豫冷回路) 라. 냉각회로(冷却回路) 2. 우유가열회로(牛乳加熱回路)는 태양열(太陽熱)을 이용(利用)하였으며 냉각회로(冷却回路)는 압축식 냉각기(冷却機)를 이용(利用)하였다. 3. 자동제어(自動制御)시스템을 장치(裝置)하여 태양강도변화(太陽强度變化)에 따른 우유처리량(牛乳處理量) 조절(調節)을 자동화(自動化)할 수 있도록 하였다.

Perception of Local Residences on Multicultural Library Service: An Exploratory Study (공공도서관 다문화서비스의 주민 인식에 관한 탐색적 연구)

  • As Korea becomes a multi-cultural society, Korean government ministries are enforcing various multi-cultural services. Especially, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, which is in charge of public libraries, is operating multi-cultural services for cultural diversity. The trends in the research on the multi-cultural services in public libraries, however, are rather on adaptation of the multi-cultural people in Korea than on the cultural diversity. In this exploratory study, we investigated the perception of local residences on multi-cultural library services with several in-depth interviews with the local residences not only for the adaptation but also for the cultural diversity. The results shows that they tended to regard public libraries as an institution of local life-long education, and then they think public libraries can take a role for coping with social adaptation and prevention of social problems in terms of multi-cultural population. Based on the results, public libraries would better consider to inform their roles in this multi-cultural society to their local residences based not only on adaptation but also on cultural diversity. For this, the libraries would develop programs, in which both multi-cultural and non-multi-cultural people can be participated, to encourage communication between them.

A Study on the Roles of Daheojang and Maedeupjang in the Joseon Dynasty (조선시대 다회장과 매듭장의 역할 규명)

  • This study is an attempt to explore the roles of and the collaborative relationship between Daheojang and Maedeupjang. Daheojang and Maedeupjang share a similar manufacturing process. However, in modern times, Daheojang totally disappeared, and Maedeupjang was designated as an intangible cultural property. The present study will investigate the role of Daheojang and Maedeupjang based on the literature of the Joseon dynasty. Daheojang were craftsmen who made bands and strings of woven or twisted silk strands. They made mangsu and tassels or made knots to produce magnificent artifacts. Maedeupjang complete all steps of the process, from refining, dyeing, combining threads, daheo, maedeup, to the tassel. Daheojang in the Joseon dynasty was the center of this process. Daheojang belonged to almost all Uigwe because it used items ranging from large uso to cushion straps. Dahoe is a craft with various items and techniques. It has been widely used to produce majestic items like formal dresses, ritual ceremony pieces, and mountings, as well as daily items like jodae, pocket straps, and norigae. Based on the records of Uigwe in the late Joseon dynasty, the study explored the collaborative relationship between Daheojang and Maedeupjang. Sambang, the room where both Daheojang and Maedeupjang belong, was the room to produce the royal chair. The royal chair essentially includes large uso. The large uso is an artifact that ties a knot in a thick circle more than two meters long. While Daheojang made rounded daheo, Maedeupjang made delicate and balanced knots. Also, they produced royal inscriptions together with a royal seal with decorative mangsu and a seal of thick rounded daheo. In order to learn about traditional technology, it is necessary to study the system of the times and social trends. Therefore, the study focused on Daheojang, who were common master craftsmen during the Joseon dynasty but now are not familiar to most people.

A Novel High-speed CMOS Level-Up/Down Shifter Design for Dynamic-Voltage/Frequency-Scaling Algorithm (Dynamic-Voltage/Frequency-Scaling 알고리즘에서의 다중 인가 전압 조절 시스템 용 High-speed CMOS Level-Up/Down Shifter)

  • We proposed a new High-speed CMOS Level Up/Down Shifter circuits that can be used with Dynamic Voltage and Frequency Scaling(DVFS) algorithm, for low power system in the SoC(System-on-Chip). This circuit used to interface between the other voltage levels in each CMOS circuit boundary, or between multiple core voltage levels in a system bus. Proposed circuit have advantage that decrease speed attenuation and duty ratio distortion problems for interface. The level up/down shifter of the proposed circuit designed that operated from multi core voltages$(0.6\sim1.6V)$ to used voltage level for each IP at the 500MHz input frequency The proposed circuit supports level up shifting from the input voltage levels, that are standard I/O voltages 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, to multiple core voltage levels in between of $0.6V\sim1.6V$, that are used internally in the system. And level down shifter reverse operated at 1Ghz input frequency for same condition. Simulations results are shown to verify the proposed function by Hspice simulation, with $0.6V\sim1.6V$ CMOS Process, $0.13{\mu}m$ IBM CMOS Process and $0.65{\mu}m$ CMOS model parameters. Moreover, it is researched delay time, power dissipation and duty ration distortion of the output voltage witch is proportional to the operating frequency for the proposed circuit.

  • 가상환경 하에서의 임장감을 객관적으로 계측하기 위한 방법으로 생체신호를 이용한 감성의 계측을 시도하였다. 여러 가지 가상환경 하에서 뇌파, 심전도, 호흡 등 다 채널의 생체신호를 계측하고 이때 피실험자가 느끼는 객관화된 임장감 지표들을 동시에 평가하여 이를 신경 회로망을 이용하여 분석하였다. 계측된 생체 신호를 사전 처리하여 일차적인 생체분석 지표들을 도출하고 이를 신경회로망의 입력으로 활용하였다. 임장감을 분석할 수 있도록 신경회로망을 학습시키고, 이를 이용하여서 가상환경 하에서 계측된 생체신호를 분석하여 임장감을 정량화하여 평가하였다.

  • This research is the result for studding about the IR Rework station which is using a multi-wave IR-heater for soldering and de-soldering on the substrate such as PCB. This IR repair and reflow system is increasing the temperature on the target area under stable temperature control following setting point melting point of solder and lead free solder using IR-heater. So this system is not giving any therrna1 damage on the target PCB and components even closed components. The soldering and de-soldering quality is evaluated through the actual test.

  • A new multiple-output dc-to-dc converter based on a switched capacitor circuit is proposed. The proposed converter offers multiple outputs that can be individually regulated by a direct output voltage feedback or indirect cross regulations. The performance of the new converter is demonstrated using a 10W experimental converter that delivers 5V/1A output and 3.3V/1A output from a 10∼15V input source.
