Development of Multi-Disciplinary Learning Program for 21st Century Learning Skills (21세기 학습능력 신장을 위한 다학문적 교육 프로그램 개발)

  • In this study, we propose a learning method that can be extended to take advantage of the knowledge of the various disciplines in the project related to the subject to perform the process of restoring stork. The development program is grade 3.4 Group 4 class hours, grade 5.6 Group 4 class hours, total 8 class hours, and in each class hour, it was designed to be extended such creativity, problem solving skills, communication skills and ability to learn, based on knowledge and concepts of the elementary curriculum related to storks. Content validity was verified using a method consisting of 12 experts to verify the validity of the program. Feasibility evaluation of Lawshe (1975) content validity ratio for the analysis: we used (Content Validity Ratio CVR) calculation formula. As a result of a feasibility study in total 8 class hours, It was analyzed that match with the development effect except for program of grade 3.4 group 4 class hours. grade 3.4 group 4 class hours program was raised this issue for the academic linkage region, was fixed. Later, It is necessary to measure the degree of learning skills improves effectiveness by applying it to the elementary school students in the proposed research program.

Mapping Knowledge Structure of Science and Technology Based on University Research Domain Analysis (대학의 연구 영역 분석을 통한 과학 기술 분야의 지식 구조 매핑에 관한 연구)

  • This study explores knowledge structures of science and technology disciplines using a cocitation analysis of journal subject categories with the publication data of a science & technology oriented university in Korea. References cited in the articles published by the faculty of the university were analyzed to produce MDS maps and network centralities. For the whole university research domain, six clusters were created including clusters of Biology related subjects, Medicine related subjects, Chemistry plus Engineering subjects, and multidisciplinary sciences plus other subjects of multidisciplinary nature. It was found that subjects of multidisciplinary nature and Biology related subjects function as central nodes in knowledge communication network in science and technology. Same analysis procedure was applied to two natural science disciplines and another two engineering disciplines to present knowledge structures of the departmental research domains.

  • This study investigated general problems concerning the social welfare field in the KDC 6th edition based comparative analysis academic characteristics and classification system, and suggested on some ideas for the improvements of them. Results of the study are summarized as follows. First, a main field of the social welfare is generally divided into a general social welfare, social works, and social welfare services to special classes and groups including people with disabilities, young people, aged, women, and families. Second, I analyzed on social welfare from the collection database at the National Library of Korea. Based on analysis of the data. the keyword frequency of social welfare policy and management, pensions, care services, and support works for the underprivileged was relatively high. Third, modified classification of items was basically performed through the academic characteristics of the social welfare and the keyword analysis, and maintaining the existing KDC classification system caused less confusion as much as possible.

  • Multiculuralism becomes the presentive term of Korea. And school is interested in multicutural education very much. The reason for this is connected to the fact of increasing intermarriages, immigrant laborers, and their children. So, the academic world is producing various research papers and public institution is proposing and practicing several policies. Particularly multicultural education is recognized as the very important intervening strategy on multicutral society and studied. The purpose of this paper is to suggest the ideas of teaching-learning experience selection for multicutural education in Korea. So the study contents of this paper are as follows ; First, it is to analyze the concepts of multicultural education and its' research trends. Second, it is to review the prior models of theorizing multicultural education and the models of curriculum development and teaching design. Finally, it is to inquiry the model of teaching-learning experience selection for multicutural education. Above all, we think that it is necessary to develop the model of multicutural teaching-learning experience selection classified by objects involved in multicutural education.

Elementary Teachers' Epistemological Beliefs and Practice on Convergent Science Teaching: Survey and Self-Study (융합적 과학수업에 대한 초등교사의 인식론적 신념과 실행 -조사연구 및 자기연구-)

  • This study is a complex type consisting of survey study and self-study. The former investigated elementary teachers' epistemological beliefs on convergence knowledge and teaching. As a representative of the result of survey study I, as a teacher as well as a researcher, was the participant of the self-study, which investigated my epistemological belief on convergence knowledge and teaching and my execution of convergent science teaching based on family resemblance of mathematics, science, and physical education. A set of open-ended written questionnaires was administered to 28 elementary teachers. Participating teachers considered convergent teaching as discipline-using or multi-disciplinary teaching. They also have epistemological beliefs in which they conceived convergence knowledge as aggregation of diverse disciplinary knowledge and students could get it through their own problem solving processes. As a teacher and researcher I have similar epistemological belief as the other teachers. During the self-study, I tried to apply convergence knowledge system based on the family resemblance analysis among math, science, and PE to my teaching. Inter-disciplinary approach to convergence teaching was not easy for me to conduct. Mathematical units, ratio and rate were linked to science concept of velocity so that it was effective to converge two disciplines. Moreover PE offered specific context where the concepts of math and science were connected convergently so that PE facilitated inter-disciplinary convergent teaching. The gaps between my epistemological belief and inter-disciplinary convergence knowledge based on family resemblance and the cases of how to bridge the gap by my experience were discussed.

추파(秋坡) 송기수(宋麒壽)의 철학이론과 유학정신

  • 추파(秋坡) 송기수(宋麒壽)(1507-1582)는 500년 전에 출생하여 조선시대 중종, 인조, 명종, 선조의 4대에 걸친 75세를 일기로 생존했던 재조(在朝)의 선비로서 행정가요, 또한 학인이었다. 추파는 기묘사화의 참상을 직접 목도하고 본의 아니게 위훈이 하사되어 평생 마음의 질곡이 되었고, 또한 소위 양재역 벽서사건에 연루된 종형 규암(圭菴) 송인수(宋麟壽)를 구명(救命)하지 못한 그의 처신이 또한 역사 속에서 오해의 사단(事端)으로서 추파에게 큰 굴레로 작용되었다. 추파의 현실인식은, 사화로 사림이 사기저상되었고, 그로 인해서 치도와 강상이 붕괴되었으며, 재해가 출현하고, 민심의 흐트러짐이 모두 천명의 노여움으로 본 동시에, 그 처방을 요순지치인 치도(治道)를 확립할 것, 선진 성학으로서 학문을 진흥할 것과 그 실천 주체인 선비의 기상을 진작시킬 것에서 찾았던 것이다. 추파의 성리설은 이기관계론을 부상리(不相離)라는 주제만을 채택하여 존재론적으로 접근하였고, 그 결과 율곡보다 훨씬 앞서 '리기지묘(理氣之妙)'라는 표현을 쓰면서 리발(理發)보다는 발어리(發於理)라는 말에 무게중심을 둠으로서 기발을 중심으로 말한 "기발어리설(氣發於理說)"을 제시하였다. 이것은 바로 그 뜻으로서의 천리(天理)를 밝혀 기(氣)로 발하는 구체적인 삶 속에 구현 하는 실천하는 길이 되는 것이다. 궁극적으로 추파의 학문은 바로 천리(天理)를 깨달아 실천궁행하여 가는 길로서 삶의 목표로 삼은 점이 특징적인 것이다. 즉 추파에 있어서 학문의 길은 리(理)의 본래적 뜻을 깨닫고 리(理)의 뜻을 심성의지(心性意志)를 통해서 구현하는 길인, 리(理)로 부터 발한 기발(氣發)을 몸소 역행실천(力行實踐)하는 길인 것이다. 이 길을 실제로 자신의 사명과 직결된 삶의 바른 길로 삼았던 것이다. 요컨대 추파의 학문사상의 궁극적 특징은 역행궁리(力行窮理)의 실천학에 있는 것이며, 따라서 결론적으로 사사(事事)(실사(實事))구시정신(求是精神)에 입각한 실천철학만이 그의 학문의 궁극적인 목적지가 되었던 것이다. 현실정치의 민생문제도, 역사적 이념으로서 선비정신 부양과 벽이단도 모두 이 사사구시(事事求是)의 시(是)를 통해야 되고, 이 시(是)를 통해서 구현하는 길이 추파학문사상의 궁극처인 것이다. 그리고 그의 언설과 삶 자체가 실사구시의 실천 그 자체 이었던 것이다. 학문사상사적으로 본다면 추파의 위상은 근본유학의 정신을 살려 그를 근간으로 하여, 한국 성리학의 개화기(開花期)에 새로운 개념으로서 이 기관계를 '리기지묘(理氣之妙)'라든가 발(發)의 근거를 리(理)에 두되 리(理)가 직접 발하는 것이 아니라, 발(發)하는 것은 기(氣)라는 '기발어리(氣發於理)'의 한길만을 중시한 점으로서 이기설의 새로운 문제를 제기한 점이라 할 수 있으며, 궁극적으로 기발론적(氣發論的)인 바탕에서 실천역행의 근거를 확립하게 됐다는 특징을 볼 수 있는 점이다. 또한 이것은 한국성리학의 기발일도라는 기발설의 선구적 주장이며, 또한 이(理)를 근거로 결국 사사구시(事事求是)의 경세실학(經世實學)을 제시함으로서 실학의 선구가 될 만한 문제제기(問題提起)를 했다고 평가할 만한 특징이라 하겠다. 이 연구가 그의 마음속에 얹혀져있던 멍에도, 그간 오해받은 역사적인 멍에도 벗겨질 수 있고, 한국철학사상장성기(韓國哲學思想長成期)(국유사상주류기(國儒思想主流期))의 학술사적인 위상도 바르게 드러나는 계기가 될 수 있기를 기대한다.

  • 나노기술은 특정의 기술 영역에 속하는 것이 아닌, 나노크기 수준의 물질(소재)이나 부품 또는 소자, 시스템(기계) 등 거의 모든 기술 영역과 관련되어 있는, 응용의 성격이 강한 기술이다. 나노기술 개발 수준은 국가 간, 혹은 기업 간의 경쟁력을 결정할 중요한 요인 중 하나로 자리잡을 것이며, 나노기술의 현황과 발전 양상의 분석은 기술 기반 산업의 미래를 위해서도 꼭 필요한 연구의 주제일 것이다. 본 연구에서는 논문의 서지정보를 통해 최근 국내에서 연구되고 있는 나노기술 중 나노소재 분야의 융합도를 측정하고, 그 결과에 대한 시사점을 제시하고자 한다. 나노소재기술과의 융합은 주로 다학제과학과 화학, 물리학 등 응용분야가 넓고 여러 학문을 포괄적으로 수용할 수 있는 학문에서 많이 발생하였고, 그 외 전기전자, 엔지니어링 분야와의 융합 역시 발견할 수 있었다. 내부중심성과 융합도와의 연관성에 대한 연구가 더욱 활발히 이루어져 그 설명력을 높일 수 있다면, 현실적합성을 획득하여 과학정책과 기술발전에 방향성을 제시하는 하나의 모형이 될 수 있으리라 기대한다.

Progress and prospect of social and population geography in Korea (한국의 사회 . 인구지리학의 발달과정과 전망)

  • Social and population geography in Korea has been developed somewhat later than other special subjects of geography. But in recent years, it has attracted much interests of geographers, and accumulated a considerably large amount of research products. Seen in this context, it is resonable to expect that social and population geography will not only lead the development of geography in the future, but also contribute to the resolution of socio-spatial problems in Korea. From this point of view, we shall retrospect in this paper the progress of social and population geography in Korea since the 1950s, and look out its future prospect and further research tasks. In the first place, we discuss general concepts and major themes of social and population geography, and overview its development process, and than review in more details some important research products which would be categorized into five main subjects, that is, research methodology, urbanization and urban population phenomena, population movement and changing rural life, residential differentiation and urban redevelopment, and urban social life and regional social well-being. Finally, we consider briefly the future prospect and further tasks of social and population geography in Korea.

A Study on the International Research Trend in Education Development focused on Text Network Analysis(2002~2017) (교육개발협력에 관한 국제 학술지 연구 동향 고찰 : 텍스트 네트워크 분석을 중심으로(2002~2017))

  • The objective of the article is to find the research trends and the main traits presented in the keywords on abstracts of research articles of "International Journal of Education Development" from 2002 to 2017. To do this, Text Network Analysis(TNA) was applied targeting 966 papers on the journal and the major research outcomes are as follows. First, the frequency analysis on the keywords showed that the keywords like Administration of education program, Schools and instruction, Regional public administration, Educational support service, Elementary education, and Elementary and secondary school were analyzed more than 100 times and also high in centrality degree. Second, the analysis results of the keywords presented in those research articles by development goal periods showed that several new keywords like Elementary education, Elementary and secondary school, Education quality, Secondary education, Educational planning have emerged frequently after SDGs and these keywords showed high in their centrality analysis. Third, the analysis on education level showed that the keywords like Elementary education, Administration of education program, School children were high in frequency and centrality degree in Elementary level. In secondary level, Schools and instruction, Administration of education program, Academic achievement were high, and in high level, college and university was high, respectively.

Effects of Interdisciplinary R&D on Technology Commercialization (다학제적 연구개발이 기술사업화에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • Various fields are being combined and developed for the development of the country and industry. The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of interdisciplinary research on the technology commercialization of researchers in the national R&D project. For the purpose of empirical analysis, major research and development have been reviewed. Major research and development projects conducted by government-funded research institution in which various technological fields are integrated in order to commercialize technology. The research data is based on the major R&D project data for railway/public transportation/logistics fields technology in 2015-17, and 149 project were selected for analysis. As a result, it was found that diversity of participants' experts had significant positive effect on technology commercialization when R&D expense, The number of research participants, The number of participating organizations, TRL before R&D were controlled. It is expected that the results of this study will be used meaningfully when the R&D program plan, analysing the academic convergence factor of research topic.
