CDMA is the way that more than one users can share the time and frequency at the same time and connect with multiple access in mobile communication. Multiple Access is indispensible for mobile communication because the limited frequency is able to be used by many users in mobile communication. CDMA is also applied to home network, military, business and medical sectors. This paper, presents a users should share limited frequency resource. CDMA module implemented with 8-layer PCB which consists of the Slice-board circuit, keeping Radio frequency characteristics and a slot type connector.
In this paper, we study the coexistence of typical radio access technologies (WiMAX, CDMA, WLAN) in heterogeneous networks. Although the radio accesses employ different frequency band, they can interfere with each other due to out-of- band emission. We compute the minimum adjacent channel interference ratio (ACIR) to satisfy the allowable level of interference, and the resulting minimum frequency separation (guard band) between interfering and victim system. We observe that WiMAX-WLAN coexistence and WiMAX-CDMA coexistence are feasible with at least 20 MHz and 15 MHz guard bands, respectively.

Including RF Package inductance, substrate coupling through conductive silicon(Si)-substrate is modeled and quantitatively characterized. 2-port substrate coupling model is extended for the characterization of multi-port substrate coupling between digital circuit block and analog/RF circuit block. Furthermore, scalable parameter extraction model is developed. Multi-port substrate coupling can be investigated by linearly superposing a frequency-dependent 2-port substrate coupling model using scalable parameters. In addition, Substrate coupling including RF package inductance effect is quantitatively investigated. It is shown that package effect increases substrate coupling and shifts a characteristic frequencies(i.e., poles) to the higher frequency range. The proposed methodology can be efficiently used to the mixed-signal circuit performance verification.

The spatial distribution of multipath fading using miniaturized experimental setup was analyzed. The spatial Fourier transform was carried out for the analysis of the period of fading and we could find out spatial frequency component of fading. Thus the analysis using this method shows the validity of miniaturized experimental setup. The miniaturized experimental setup was made by 5 times reducing of the real size. The simulation was performed at 2 GHz and the measurement was carried out at 10 GHz. Automatic antenna moving system was made for exact measurement of the multipath fading. Both simulated and measured results in miniaturized experimental setup were shown by electric field distribution and spatial frequency density distribution curves.

Unitary matrix modulation (UMM) is investigated in multiple antennas system that is called unitary space-time modulation (USTM). When we consider only diagonal components of UMM with splitting over the coherence bandwidth, the system can obtain frequency diversity in a single antenna system. In Rayleigh fading channel, we compared USTM/OFDM with 2Tx-antenna with UMM-S/OFDM with 1Tx-antenna, conventional multi-level OFDM and UMM-S/OFDM with changing bit rate per Hz. Also, we analyzed SNR for between multi-level modulation STBC/OFDM and multi-level modulation UMM-S/OFDM with changing transmission rate. When it was adaptive multi-level modulation to improve SNR, we did the UMM-S/OFDM system performance analysis of N-ary PSK and M-ary QAM.

Transform, subband, and wavelet transform decompositions are powerful linear transformation tools in image coding because of their decorrelating effects on image pixels, the concentration of energy in a few coefficients, their multirat/multiresolution framework, and their frequency splitting, which allows for efficient coding matched to the statistics of each frequency band and to the characteristics of the human visulal system. Thus, a growingbody of research has bee performed to extend these tools in various kinds of modified formations. Hence, in this paper, an overall survey to achieve a general view on these transformation tools have been attempted. Starting from basic tools such as orthogonal transforms, lapped transforms, QMF(quadrature mirror filter) subband filter banks, and wavelet transforms, their hierarchical extensions, vector extensions, and linear time-varying extensions are investugated in detail.

We present power(in frequency domain) and rate adaptation(in time domain) schemes in multicarrier (MC) direct-sequence code-division multiple-access(DS/CDMA) communications. Utilizing channel state information from the receiver, the adaptation schemes allocate power the user's sub-band with the largest channel gain. In the time domain, the transmission data rate is adapted for a desired transmission quality. In the case of single-user channels, a closed-form expression is derived for an optimal time domain power adaptation that minimizes the average bit error rate(BER). Channel inversion power adaptation is found to provide nearly optimal performance in this case, as the number of sub-bands or available average transmission power increase. Analysis and simulation results show the BER performance of the proposed power and rate adaptations with fixed average transmission power significantly improves the performance over the power allocation in the frequency domain only. Also, we compare the performance of the proposed power and rate adaptation schemes in MC-DS/CDMA systems with that of power and rate adapted single carrier DS/CDMA systems with RAKE receiver.
