Streaming of Spatiotemporally Multiplexed Hologram data for Digital Color Holographic Table-top Display (컬러 홀로그래픽 디스플레이를 위한 시공간적 다중화 홀로그램 데이터의 고속 스트리밍)

  • 완전 입체 3차원 영상을 구현할 수 있는 디지털 홀로그래픽 디스플레이에서 테이블위에 실제 물체가 있는 것과 같이 수평 방향 360도 전 영역에서 홀로그램을 볼 수 있도록 하기 위해서는, 홀로그램 영상을 수십 KHz정도의 프레임률로 시공간 다중화하여야 하며 동영상 재현을 위해서는 스트리밍 방식의 고속 대용량 홀로그램 데이터의 전송이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 이를 위하여 홀로그램 데이터를 저장할 수 있는 스트리밍 서버를 구축하였고 서버내의 비디오 플레이어에서는 사전 정의된 데이터 포맷에 맞추어 제작된 CGH 데이터를 고속으로 전송하고, 설계 제작된 인터페이스 보드를 통하여 데이터를 수신하여 실시간으로 컬러 홀로그램을 재현하는 기능을 구현하였다.

  • Recent exploration of smart-phone user is fueling the deployment of long term evolution (LTE) service that offers higher data rates service over 3G HSPA networks. In particular, Korea, mobile powerhouse, recently launched the service of LTE-Advanced (LTE-A) which is the latest release in LTE standard. Multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) technology is the one of key enablers for LTE and LTE-A for achieving high data rate. MIMO technology has received much attention since it is possible to achieve channel capacity in proportion to the number of antennas without increasing frequency and power. In this paper, we overview of the theoretical background of MIMO technology regarding from single-user MIMO, multiuser MIMO, and massive MIMO and design considerations to implement the communication system.

  • This paper proposes a resource management and allocation algorithm to guarantee QoS continuity of realtime multimedia services and to maximize the resource utilization in heterogeneous wireless networks simultaneously. This scheme reserves the appropriate resources to be used by real-time multimedia services and allocates those resources left unused due to decreased transmission rate of realtime services to non-realtime services. Those resources can be preempted by the need of realtime services later. Performances are analyzed by simulation.

  • Visible light communication (VLC) using optical sources which can be simultaneously utilized for illumination and communication is currently an attractive option for wireless personal area network. Improving the data rate in optical wireless communication system is challenging due to the limited bandwidth of the optical sources. In this paper, we design the singular value decomposition (SVD)-based multiplexing multi-input multi-output (MIMO) system to support two data streams in optical wireless channels. In order to improve the spectral efficiency, the rate adaptation using multi-level pulse amplitude modulation (PAM) is applied according to the channel condition and we propose the method to allocate the optical power, the offset and the size of modulation scheme theoretically under the constraints of the nonnegativity of the modulated signals, the aggregate optical power and the bit error rate (BER) requirement. The simulation results show that the proposed allocation method gives the better performance than the method to allocate the optical power equally for each data stream.

  • In this paper, we consider a downlink non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) using multiple transmit antennas, where the transmit antenna selection scheme is used to reduce the system complexity. Thus, in this paper, we propose radio resource allocation and receiver selection schemes in order to improve the outage probability performance of the downlink NOMA system using the transmit antenna selection scheme. In particular, the receiver selection scheme is a method of grouping the receivers to improve the outage probability performance, and the radio resource allocation scheme is a method of allocating radio resources to each group in order to enhance the outage probability performance. In addition, through the computer simulation under the assumption of independent Rayleigh fading channels, we show that the proposed radio resource allocation and receiver selection schemes can improve the outage probability performance at the expense of the sum rate performance.

  • Energy efficiency, low latency and scalability for wireless sensor networks are important requirements, especially, the wireless sensor network consist of a large number of sensor nodes should be minimized energy consumption of each node to extend network lifetime with limited battery power. An efficient algorithm and energy management technology for minimizing the energy consumption at each sensor node is also required to improve transfer rate. Thus, this paper propose no-overlap multi-pass protocol provides for sensor data transmission in the wireless sensor network environment. The proposed scheme should minimize network overhead through reduced a sensor data translation use to searched multi-path and added the multi-path in routing table. Proposed routing protocol may minimize the energy consumption at each node, thus prolong the lifetime of the sensor network regardless of where the sink node is located outside or inside the received signal strength range. To verify propriety proposed scheme constructs sensor networks adapt to current model using the real data and evaluate consumption of total energy.

  • Sensor networks are composed of a great number of sensor nodes. Since all sensor nodes are energy-restricted and hard to recharge, it is very important.However, the energy consumption may significantly increase if mobile sources or sinks exist in sensor networks. The reason is that the routing information for mobile sources and sinks needs to be update frequently for efficientdata delivery. The routing algorithm supporting mobile sinks should consider not only continuous data delivery but also the energy consumption of sensor nodes. However, most of the existing research focuses on even energy consumption while the mobility of sinks and sources is rarely consider. In this paper, we propose an efficient routing protocol with multiple virtual grids to reduce energy consumption and improve packets delivery efficiency. Then this paper considers the mobility. Simulation results show that our algorithm can guarantee high data delivery ratio and lower average delivery delay, while consuming lower energy than existing routing protocols in sensor networks.

  • In this paper, a multi-node real-time diagnostic and management system based on zigbee sensor network is proposed, which is to monitor and diagnose multiple nodes as well as to control the data generated from the various multiple sensors collectively. The proposed system is designed to transmit the collected wireless and wired data to the server for monitoring and controling efficiently the condition for multi-nodes by taking the corresponding actions according to the analysis. The system is implemented to make it possible to manage the sensor data by classifying them, of which data are issued from the clustered sources with a number of the remote sensors. In order to evaluate the performance of the proposed system, we measure and analyze both the transmission delay time according to the distance and the data loss rate issued from multiple sensors. The results shows that the proposed system has a good performance.

  • In this Paper. Multi-channels L-Expressnet protocol is proposed by supplementing multi-channels control method. This protocol is proposed to complement the shortcomings of the basic protocol which is used for the medium access in LAN. We analyzed the protocol in channel utilization viewpoint and compared the result with that of the Expressnet and L-Expressnet protocol. From this result, we showed that the channel utilization or the Multi-channels L-Expressnet Protocol is superior to that of the other medium access control methods when the channel traffic is increased.
