  • Recently, the use and application of computer graphics in the mobile and ubiquitous environment are growing. Real-time rendering and modeling for computer graphics are due to system performance, there're lots of limitation in lower system such as PDA and cell phone etc. Therefore, we suggested the intelligent Serving Rendering Middleware which is to provide adaptation service of computer graphics contents fit to user's environment real-time whatever environment the users are in. The Service Rendering Middleware needs multi-level configurations and applications, so, in this paper we propose multi-level algorithm to decide adaptation levels are deal with separately according to device performance.

Throughput Analysis of Opportunistic Routing in Long-Haul Multi-hop Wireless Networks (롱 홀 다중 홉 무선 네트워크에서의 Opportunistic 라우팅의 전송 용량 분석)

  • In this paper, we analyze the maximum throughput of opportunistic routing along a long-haul multi-hop wireless network path for a single data stream, while considering link-level interference among the network nodes. Surprisingly, we find out that opportunistic routing does not provide much improvement in throughput for long-haul paths. The results of this research show that when we compare the extra cost for the complex implementation of the opportunistic routing scheme to the performance improvement obtained from it, opportunistic routing scheme needs to be applied to only short-haul multi-hop wireless network paths.

  • This paper deals with the isolated DC-DC converter with high efficiency using the minimum reactor. In this paper, the proposed convert uses the air core reactor for ZCS(zero currunt switching) which can minimize the core losses and removes the over switching losses by soft switching. The proposed converter is verified by the modes analysis and computer simulation to prove the theoretical background and adequacy.

  • We propose to implement cost-effectively a high-speed short-haul interconnect by transmitting a 200-Gb/s/λ two-channel optical time-division-multiplexed signal generated by a carrier-suppressed optical pulse, which improves the robustness of the multiplexed signal to chromatic dispersion. The multiplexed 200-Gb/s signal is generated in the transmitter by combining two 100-Gb/s 4-level pulse-amplitude-modulated signals (generated using the optical pulse and two Mach-Zehnder modulators). After the signal is transmitted over a fiber, it is amplified by a semiconductor optical amplifier and detected by a photodiode. The amplified spontaneous emission noise is eliminated by an optical band-pass filter. The transmitted signal is reconstructed by a 2 × 2 multiple-input multiple-output equalizer, which compensates for crosstalk. Due to the use of the carrier-suppressed optical pulse, the 200-Gb/s signal can be transmitted over fiber with a chromatic dispersion of 40 ps/nm.

The Walkers Tracking Algorithm using Color Informations on Multi-Video Camera (다중 비디오카메라에서 색 정보를 이용한 보행자 추적)

  • In this paper, the interesting moving objects tracking algorithm using color information on Multi-Video camera against variance of intensity, shape and background is proposed. Moving objects are detected by using difference image method and integral projection method to background image and objects image only with hue area, after converting RGB color coordination of image which is input from multi-video camera into HSI color coordination. Hue information of the detected moving area are segmented to 24 levels from $0^{\circ}$ to $360^{\circ}$. It is used to the feature parameter of the moving objects that are three segmented hue levels with the highest distribution and difference among three segmented hue levels. To examine propriety of the proposed method, human images with variance of intensity and shape and human images with variance of intensity, shape and background are targeted for moving objects. As surveillance results of the interesting human, hue distribution level variation of the detected interesting human at each camera is under 2 level, and it is confirmed that the interesting human is tracked and surveilled by using feature parameters at cameras, automatically.

  • 본 논문에서는 멀티브리지 인버터로 구성된 SSSC를 제안하였다. SSSC의 동적특성을 분석하기 위해서 1기 무한모선 전력계통에 SSSC를 연결한 것을 가정하고 EMTP 시뮬레이션을 수행하였고, 축소모형 실험으로 그 특성을 확인하였다. 다중브리지 SSSC는 한 상당 6개의 단상 풀브리지 인버터로 구성되었고, 13-레벨 출력전압을 얻을 수 있다. 다중브리지 SSSC는 전압 주입을 위한 연계 변압기가 필요하기 않고, 전력계통에서 요구되는 동작전압에 따라 브리지 수를 가감하여 용이하게 구성할 수 있다.

  • DAC 정책을 기반으로 하는 DBMS에서 데이터에 대한 사용자의 접근 통제는 접근 규칙 데이터베이스에 저장된 접근 규칙을 바탕으로 이 사용자가 접근하려는 데이터에 접근 권리가 명시적으로 기술되었는지를 확인하므로 써 수행된다. MAC 정책은 각 시스템의 주체와 객체에게 보안 등급을 부여하고, 등급별로 분리된 정보의 보안을 유지하기 위해서 다중 보안 단계에서 정보를 처리하는 강제적 접근 권한을 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 실제 MAC 정책을 기업 환경에 적용시키는데 있어서는 많은 제약사항이 존재하고 있으며, 이러한 제약사항 중에 레벨별로 정보의 공유가 필요할 경우에 레벨간에 최대, 최소를 둠으로써 레벨간의 정보 공유를 가능하게 만들고자 하는 모델을 제안하고자 한다.

  • The beamforming procedure in Adaptive Array Antenna System is affected by signal degradation and data rate due to DS-CDMA characteristics. Until this time, a lot of techniques are suggested to overcome this problems. This paper shows the simulation result about the beamforming performance of symbol level system that process slow data rate, compensated signal by despreading procedure in front of beamformer, and that of chip level system that process chip level signal without it. we analysis the performance using MSE, beam pattern, scattering points of beamformer output. chip level system is superior to symbol level system in time varying channel, while the performance of them didn't have difference in static channel.

  • 기존의 웨이브릿 기반 프랙탈 압축 방법은 전 영역에 대하여 최적의 정의역을 탐색하므로, 부호화 과정에서 많은 탐색시간이 소요되는 단점이 있다. 그래서 본 논문에서는 웨이브릿 변환영역에서 SAS(Self Affine System) 기법과 다중 스케일 인자를 이용한 웨이브릿 변환 기반 프랙탈 영상 압축 방법을 제안한다. 웨이브릿 기반 영역에서 정의역과 치역을 구성하고, 각각의 치역 블럭에 대해 모든 정의역 블럭을 탐색하는 것이 아니라, 정의역 탐색과정이 필요 없는 SAS 기법을 도입하여 공간적으로 같은 위치에 있는 상위 레벨 블록을 정의역으로 선택한다 그래서 부호화 과정에서 곱셈 계산량을 감소시켜 고속 부호화를 가능하게 한다. 그리고 SAS 기법의 단점인 화질이 떨어지는 단점을 개선하기 위해, 각 레벨별로 서로 다른 스케일 인자를 사 용하여 화질을 개선한다. 그 결과 화질에는 영향을 미치지 않고 부호화 시간과 압축률이 개선되고, 점진적 전송이 가능한 알고리듬을 제안한다.
