A Study for the Dynamic ENC Development (다이나믹 전자해도 개발연구)

  • The ENCs, which is a database for the use of maritime navigation within the ECDIS on the ships are recently being utilized in wide marine applications. But, even though official ENCs have been produced according to the IHO S-57 and S-52 standards, current ENCs are limited to their static characteristics of contents and structures being inherited from the analog media style of the traditional paper charts. Thus these limitations are often recognized as barriers to the full use of high resolution and advanced digital technologies. This paper presents prototype development results which demonstrate dynamic ENC features using high density ENCs and simulated tidal information to support various marine GIS fields as well as efficient and safe navigation purpose.

  • 교류전동기 구동을 위한 산업용 전력전자 시스템은 전력회생용 양방향 컨버터, VVVF 인버터, 교류전동기 벡터제어기, 및 다양한 전기ㆍ기계적 연계 장치들을 포함하는 전기기계 복합시스템 특성을 지니기 때문에 전체 시스템에 대한 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션이 용이하지 않다. 일반적으로 이러한 복잡성을 해결하기 위한 방안으로서 시스템을 근사화시키고 이에 대한 수학적인 등가모델을 유도한 후 이를 이용하여 시뮬레이션을 행하고 있지만, 이 경우 실계통의 다이나믹특성을 정확히 표현할 수 없기 때문에 시뮬레이션 신뢰성이 저하될 수 있다 본 논문에서는 가변구조 제어기법에 의해 역률1 제어기능을 갖는 PWM 컨버터, VVVF 인버터 및 유도기 간접벡터제어기 둥을 포함하는 유도전동기 구동전력전자 시스템을 다이나믹 노드 기법(Dynamic Node Technique DNT)과 시뮬링크(Simulink)를 이용하여 실제회로 구성상태와 유사한 형태로 시뮬링크 윈도우상에서 설계하고, 이를 통해 시뮬레이션을 행할 수 있는 기법을 제시한다. 시뮬레이션 결과를 통하여 전력전자 시스템의 특성과 제시된 다이나믹 노드 기법과 시뮬링크를 이용한 시뮬레이션 기법의 유용성을 보였다.

  • In this paper, we design a dynamic state feedback smooth stabilizer for a nonlinear system whose Jacobian linearization may have uncontrollable mode because its eigenvalues are on the right half-plane. After designing an augmented system, a dynamic exponent scaling and backstepping enable one to explicitly design a smooth stabilizer and a continuously differentiable Lyapunov function which is positive definite and proper. The convergence of the designed controller is proved by the new notion 'degree indicator'.

  • PFC( Power Factor Corrector)회로의 목적은 입력전류의 역률 개선을 목적으로 널리 사용되고 있다. 그리고 입/출력 파워의 균형을 위해 대용량의 출력Cap이 사용되며 주로 전해액이 포함된 부품을 사용한다. 그러나 사용 되는 전해Cap은 AC-DC 변환회로의 수명시간을 결정지으며 이를 사용하는 전자제품의 전체 수명을 반영하게 된다. 본 연구는 출력Cap용량을 최소와시키며 이를 대체 할 수 있는 Film Cap을 사용하여 제품의 전체 수명시간을 개선시키는데 목적이 있으며 다이나믹 특성의 부하와 서지성 낙뢰 및 과전압 대책에 대한 해결방안을 실제 시스템에서 구현하고자 한다. 또한 입력 서지 및 다이나믹 부하에 대한 개선 회로를 확인하고 이론적 결과는 200W LED TV에서 검증한다.

  • The design formular of optical focusing systems cannot be applied to ultrasonic B scanners, which use broadband pulses instead of continuous wave. In this paper, a calculation method is studied for analyzing the propagation of ultrasonic broadband pulse excited by ultrasonic array transducers. Using the results, seveial design parameters such as the number of transducer elements, delay time, and the focal point are determined to obtain high resolution in the ultrasonic dynamic focusing system. A dynamic focusing system with low-noise switching characteristics; which attains lateral resolution of 2-3mm all along the axial direction up to 18 cm with a 3.5 MHz linear array transducer, was implemented.

  • "Throttle-by-Wire" is an electronic throttle system in which mechanical cables and hydraulics are replaced by a fieldbus network, electric motors and sensors. It is crucial for an electronic throttle to design a controller that can offer an accurate and fast reference tracking performance in the presence of nonlinearities, such as friction in the gearbox and "limp-home" nonlinearity. This paper presents a nonlinear dynamic inversion based control algorithm for electronic throttle systems. Using the proposed method, the specified control performance can be achieved by canceling inherent nonlinear characteristics of the electronic throttle system. The control performance is investigated through a set of simulation results.

  • The images captured by digital still cameras or mobile phones are not always satisfactory because the devices have limited dynamic ranges compared with that of the real world. To cope with the problems, tone mapping function based methods and retinex theory based methods are studied. However, these methods generate a halo artifact or limited enhancement of global and local contrasts. The proposed method estimates illumination information used for image enhancement by optimizing a dynamic range of input image. The estimated illumination information has smoothness characteristic where the luminance is flat and does not have where the luminance changes to prevent the halo artifact. Additionally, the estimated illumination information and surrounding pixel values are considered when the tone mapping function is applied to overcome the limitations of the conventional tone mapping function approach. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms the conventional methods on objective and subjective criteria.
