공공업무용(국가, 전력, 가스, 상하수도, 소방$\cdot$구급, 철도 등) 이동통신시스템의 디지털화가 (일본) 전기통신기술심의로부터의 답신(1993년 4월)을 받아 우정자령(동년 11월)으로 고시되었다. 이에 따라 미쓰비시전기에서는 시분할다원접속(Time Division Multiple Access : TDMA)방식의 공공업무용 디지털이동통신시스템을 개발하였다. 여기에 이 시스템의 개요와 서브시스템의 내용을 상세하게 소개하기로 한다. 제어국$\cdot$기지국은 표준규격보다 우수한 기능을 실현하였고, 차량탑재이동국은 소형경량화를 도모하였으며, 계속해서 주파수분할 다원접속(Frequency Division Multiple Access : FDMA) 방식의 시스템에 대한 개발도 시행하여 최적의 시스템을 구축할 수 있도록 하고 있다. 또한 다른 주파수대를 포함한 공공업무용 디지털통신시스템의 법 정비가 순차적으로 진전될 전망이어서, 공공기관을 중심으로 급속히 이 시스템의 보급이 도모될 것으로 생각된다.

In this study, computer simulation works using PRO/II with PROVISION V10.2 have been performed for a cascade refrigeration cycle using methane, ethylene and propane as refrigerants. LNG cold heat was also utilized in order to save the compression powers for the ethylene and propane refrigeration cycles. It was concluded that about 77% of compression power can be saved by using LNG cold heat through the exchanging heat with refrigerants. We could also know that the cold heat price contained in 1 ton of LNG is 16,155 won.

폐쇄성수면무호흡증(Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome : OSAS)은 신경근육계, 호흡계, 심혈관계의 복합적인 질환으로서 사회적, 생리학적으로 심각한 문제를 발생시킬 수 있는 질병이다. 수술적치료를 결정하기에 앞서 환자의 증상 및 징후, 신체 상태와 습관 등을 정밀검사하고, 기도폐쇄가 일상생활 및 정신건강에 미치는 영향을 고려하여 수술여부를 결정하여야 한다. 폐쇄성수면무호흡증후군의 진단에 유용한 검사인 수면다원검사와 Videofluoroscopy의 검사결과를 바탕으로 수술소견을 비교분석하고자 하였다.

The purpose of this article is to depict the relationship between the frames of leadership and the dependent variables such as job satisfaction, respect from subordinates, promotion, and effective attainment of unit objectives. To attain this purpose, four types of multiple leadership frame, such as structural, human resources, political, and symbolic frames were surveyed through questionnaire and analyzed by SPSS. The major findings are : 1) In general, the symbolic frame is an important factor having a stronger influence on job satisfaction, respect from subordinates, promotion, and effective attainment of unit objectives. 2) In details, the human resources frame shows a positive effects on job satisfaction and respect; the structural frame on effective attainment of unit objectives; the political frame, to a certain degree, on promotion; and the symbolic frame, especially on respect from subordinates, promotion, and effective attainment of unit objectives.

Disorders of intitating and maintaining sleep(DIMS : insomnia) may be a symptom of some other disease or the basic, root problem in some patients. DIMS is usually treated by private physicians or psychiatrists, initially. Many physicians can do to improve the quality of life of the sleep disordered patients by appropriate evaluation and management For the effective management of DIMS patients, the accurate differential diagnosis is essential. In polysomnographic evaluation for insomnia, the physician should consider the aspects of cost-effectiveness to provide the maximal benefits for the patients. For the purpose of this, evaluation of DIMS complaints outside the sleep disorder clinic, indication for referral to a sleep disorder clinic, the role of polysomnopraphy in evaluating DIMS, and polysomnographic findings of different types of DIMS are discussed, together with possible way to diagnose them.

직접 확산 부호 분할 다원 접속 (Direct Sequence Code Division Multiple Access : DS-CDMA) 시스템과 시분할 다원 접속 (Time Division Multiple Access : TDMA) 시스템을 동일 주파수 대역에서 중첩되어 전송할 때 DS-CDMA 신호에서의 TDMA 신호의 협대역 간섭이 문제된다. 본 논문에서는 DS-CDMA 신호의 협대역 간섭(narrowband interference : NI)를 제거하는 방법으로서 노치필터를 이용해서 협대역 간섭파 제거법을 제안하고, 간섭제거기(CCI canceller)를 이용해서 다중접속간섭을 제거하여 DS-CDMA 신호의 성능을 개선한다. 본 논문은 잡음, 다중접속 간섭 및 협대역 간섭환경에서 DS-CDMA 신호와 TDMA 신호의 주파수 공용 시스템에 적용할 때의 성능을 분석하였다.

In this paper, a novel M-ary orthogonal CDMA scheme which utilizes time hopping codes and binary orthogonal sequences is proposed for personal communication system. Its modulated output signal has the characteristics of greater bandwidth occupancy and lower spectral density level as well. So this scheme is useful for spectrum overlay with existing narrowband communication systems which occupy current radio frequency channels. This paper investigates system characteristics through the analysis of modulated output signal power spectrum, and demonstrates the possibility of spectrum overlay.

심신의 편안함과 안정이 숙면에 미치는 영향은 널리 알려져 있으며 다양한 연구방법을 통하여 보고되고 있다. 그리고 향에 대한 심리생리적 효과 또한 잘 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 숙면 유도 향과 천연 추출물을 포함한 슬리핑팩의 효과에 대한 생리적 반응과 설문지를 통한 숙면의 정도를 조사하였다. 생리적 반응은 수면다원검사를 실시하여 수면지연시간, 3-4 단계의 비율을 비교 하였다. 실험결과 슬리핑팩 A와 B는 일반적 및 아무것도 바르지 않은 상태에 비해서 입면지연시간이 짧았고, 3-4 단계의 비율이 유의하게 높았다. 설문지 결과 또한 슬리핑팩을 사용하고 수면을 취했을 때 숙면을 취한 것으로 피실험자들이 느꼈다.

용융 합금의 표면 장력은 도금, 용접등 금속 제조 공정중 큰 영향을 미치는 재료의 물성 중 하나이다. 표면 장력의 측정을 위해 다양한 방법이 개발 되었으며 많은 합금계에 대해 표면 장력값이 온도와 조성의 변화에 대해 알려져 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 실험 측정의 어려움, 실용적인 다원계 합금에서의 표면 장력 측정치의 부족으로 인해 전술한 금속 제조 공정에서 나타나는 현상에 대한 해석에 사용하기에 아직 해결해야 할 부분들이 많이 있다. 본 연구에서는 표면 장력이 합금의 Gibbs free energy의 한 부분으로 기술되는 열역학 원리 및 표면 장력이 Gibbs energy 수식 내 표면적에 대응하는 포텐셜 함수로 얻을수 있다는 Pajarre등의 제안에 근거하여 용융합금의 표면 장력을 계산하는 방법을 제시한다. 다양한 열역학 성질과 상태도를 계산하기 위해 개발된 열역학 소프트웨어 및 데이터베이스를 활용하여 2원계-다원계 용융 합금의 표면장력을 계산하고 이를 알려진 실험 자료와 비교하였다. 철강 제품의 표면 도금에 사용되는 용융 아연 합금의 표면 장력을 전술한 방법을 통해 예측하고 그 결과를 토의한다.
