Computation of robustness margins in multivariable LQG/LTR design when the plant is scalled (다변수 LQG/LTR 설계에서 스케일링 행렬에 의한 강인성 여유 계산)

  • In MIMO design, input and output units are different from each other. By this reason, the effect of larger units to smaller one is not trivial and there is no method of proper scaling, optimal scaling. In this paper, robust stability of MIMO LQG/LTR design are analised when the plnat inputs and outputs are scalled. The upper bound of model error to guarantee the robust stability is obtained, and gain margin and phase margins are computed with respect to scalling matrices.

  • This paper deals with the fault detection problem in uncertain linear multivariable systems having both model mismatch and noise. A robust detection presented by Kwon et al.(1994) for SISO systems has been here extended to the multivariable systems are derived. The model mismatch includes here linearization error as well as undermodelling. Comparisons are made with alternative fault detection method which do not account noise. The new method is shown to have good performance.

  • We treat the problem of the robust tracking of a class of nonlinear systems which can be asymptotically decoupled in approximate sense by state variable feedback. A nonlinear control law is derived such that the tracking error in the closed loop system is uniformly bounded and tends to a certain small neighborhood of the origin. Simulation results show that simultaneous lateral and longitudinal maneuvers in airplane can be accurately performed in spite of uncertainty in stability derivatives.

  • For the design of multivariable fuzzy control systems decomposition of control rules is a efficent inference method since it alleviates the complexity of the problem. In some systems, however, inference error of the Gupta's decomposition method is inevitable because of its approximate nature. In this paper we define indices of applicability which decides whether the decomposition method can be applied to a multivariable fuzzy system or not.

  • 전력사업에 있어 그 기본이 되는 발전소는 현재 복잡화되어 가고 있는 산업사회의 전력수요에 대한 대폭적인 증가 추세에 따라 발전소에서는 보다 효율적이며 합리적이고 경제적인 전력공급을 위해 전력생산에 대한 신뢰성 향상 및 안정성 확보는 물론, 효율성이 높은 운전이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 상호간섭이 많은 다변수 비선형 시스템인 발전소를 제어하기 위해 적용된 선진국들의 분산제어시스템(DCS, Distributed Control System)의 구조를 분석하고 향후 발전소용 DCS의 기술동향 및 선택을 위해 고려될 사항들을 알아보고자 한다.

  • In this paper, we design the robust controller for MIMO system using multiple fuzzy logic controller. Based on the knowledge of system input/output data, we introduce the simple adaptation laws to approximate the decoupling matrix from input channel to output channel. The proposed control algorithm is applied numerical example.

  • In this paper, we get state equations based on wheel's rotation, tilt and steering are independent each other in balancing robot. Accordingly, we propose two LQR controllers which are appropriate for rotation and steering control of a balancing robot. And its superiority and appropriateness are demonstrated by a comparison to a PID method. Simulation results verify the possibility of upright balancing, rectilinear motion and position control. Moreover, experimental results show that it guarantees the performance to apply the two LQR controllers to balance the robot.

  • The Stewart Platform is one example of a motion simulator which generater 6DOF motion in space by six actuators in parallel. The presented control methrol of 6DOF motion simulator is generally classified into two types, one is SISO and the other is MIMO control type. The SISO control can't compensate for external load variation and different dynamic behavior of 6DOF motion, trerefore this type don's control motion precisely. On the other hand, the MIMO control compensates for a interference of 6DOF motion because MIMO controller is designed with 6DOF motion simulator synamics. But MIMO control of motion simulator has a complexity of 6DOF displacement feedback, because in oder to obtain feedback value we must solve the forward kinematics using measurement of cylinder length or design a state estimator, unless measurement of 6DOF displacement is possible. In this paper, a multivariable controller using H .inf. optimal control theory is designed to consider a interference of 6DOF motion and to obtain robust,precise control of system. Also in order to solve the mentioned problem of MIMO control, this paper presents a modified MIMO control model which control 6DOF motion by using feedback of measurement od cylinder length.

  • 중형항공기용 터보펜 엔진의 성능모사와 LQR 제어기 설계에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 동적 성능모사를 설계점으로 선정한 지상최대이륙조건과 탈설계점으로 선정한 최대상승조건과 순항조건에 대하여 Step 증가, Ramp 증가, Ramp 감소, Step증가 후 Ramp 감소의 4가지 연료공급에 조건에 대하여 수행되었다. 성능모사 결과 모든 비행조건에서 연료를 Step 증가시킬 경우 고압터보빈의 입구온도가 제한온도인 3105$^{\circ}$R을 초과함을 확인하였고, 최대 상승조건에서 연료를 Step 증가시킬 경우가 4.5초 이내에 Ramp 증가시킬 경우 고압압축기에 서지가 발생함을 확인하였다. 따라서 고압터어빈의 오버슈트와 고압압축기의 서지를 동시에 제어할 수 있는 다변수 제어기의 설계가 필요함을 확인하였다.

  • This paper presents an LMI(Lincar Matrix Inequalities) method for designing the optimal decoupling controller. The proposed controller based on the Two Degree-of-Freedom configuration considers both the performance of controller and decoupling properties. A minimal set of assumptions for existence of the decoupling controller formula is described in the state space formulas. The decoupling controller parameters are obtained from LMI methods for computational efficiency.
