This purpose of this study was to analyze the formation and look into design characteristics by types and method of expression on multifunctional eco-friendly fashion design. Total 191 pieces of multifunctional fashion design photographs were collected through fashion collection from 2000 S/S to S/S 2010 F/W on the website. First, the characteristics of multifunctional eco-friendly fashion design used squared silhouette, achromatic colors, plain patterns for pollution control, hard materials to prolong the product, it was clear that details were minimized to save resources. Second, there were 5 changeable types of multifunctional eco-friendly fashion design which were changes in changing forms, material changes, item changes, detail changes and complex changes. Third, as the result of changeable types by method of expression, the changing forms were expressed by removable, material changes by reversible, detail changes by open and close and item changes by shifting. Forth, the formative properties of multifunctional eco-friendly fashion design had flexibility, multifunction, versatility and amusing. Therefore, this study will be helpful in planning multifunctional eco-friendly fashion design according to the kind of formative characteristics, changeable types, method of expression and provide concrete fundamental materials for the expert in clothing on the base of objective data through statistical analysis.

To cope with the threats posed by climate change actively, this study tries to examine multi-functional fashion design with the moral awareness of environment, which could be a direct cause of climate change. Literature and patents on multi-functional fashion design following climate change at home and abroad are examined to find the trend of multi-functional fashion designs. And fashion design that can protect human body to cope with climate change is analyzed. This study found that first, it is necessary to recognize the environment problems in the design process so that material is used to the minimum to minimize pollution and enable welfare and continuation of human society; second, environmentally friendly production and rational consumption such as manual production without waste of energy and material need to be favored to minimize the destruction of environment; third, to cope with environment and climate changes, design that allows an item to have diverse functions is needed so that it can have varied lengths, widths, and thicknesses, and it can be put on and taken off.

The purpose of this study was to analyze critical needs and demands for the multifunctional traveler's jacket and to develop design prototypes based on the findings from the analysis. A self-report questionnaire with the stimuli was applied. Total 163 travelers were purposively sampled for the survey and the data were analyzed quantitatively as well as qualitatively. The results were as follows: 1. The respondents were divided into three groups - "digital-functionality-needs group", "non-digitalfunctionality-needs group", "no-need group", according to their preference and needs for the multifunctional traveler's jacket. 2. The three groups were analyzed (1) to have meaningful differences in experiencing inconvenience in their traveling, (2) to have statistically significant differences in their needs for the multifunctional traveler's jacket, (3) while some imperative consensus in their needs were found in part. 3. Based on the findings of the analysis mentioned above, three design prototypes were developed and visualized with conclusion.

패션산업은 새로운 이미지를 창출하는 지식산업의 하나이다. 특히 패션제품을 생산하는 디자인 제품기업은 이제 새로운 지식기업으로 전환을 해야 한다. 새로운 이미지의 디자인은 디자이너의 창의력으로부터 시작된다. 각개 디자이너로부터의 새로운 이미지와 디자인의 창출보다는 자율 독립권을 갖는 디자인 팀의 지식 및 정보공유를 통한 동시공학을 활용한 디자인 및 제품개발이 보다 더 신속한 제품 디자인 및 개발이며 고객 지향적이다. 또한 공급자와 지식 및 정보공유를 기초로 한 Just-in-Time II의 개념에 의한 생산 및 공급자 관계 유지는 생산 속도의 빠름은 물론 제품의 품질 향상과 원가 절감에 기여 할 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to understand the ideas of characteristic of convergence design related to slow fashion design. Convergence design in digital stage can be defined as a social phenomenon which different function of product move toward one direction for greater efficiency. Slow fashion is based on the Slow Movement. (This is a movement with similar principles to the Slow Food Movement, as it promotes an alternative mass production, such as fast fashion.) The aims of this research are to study slow fashion that has appeared in the fashion industry through various approaches for convergence designs, and to find the possibility of use for slow fashion. The research method consisted of carrying out case studies and analyzing literatures and proceeding cases. The characteristics of convergence designs are classified into technical convergence, emotion-oriented convergence and complex convergence. Technical convergence has an effect on slow fashion as a multi-functional design. Second, emotion-oriented convergence affects social-cultural design. Slow fashion related to a complex convergence design reveals emotion-oriented deign. Slow fashion is related to convergence design is to expect contribute to provide a good source for the future fashion industry and fashion market.

This study aims to develop a multi-functional cage for dogs as a house to reduce their anxiety when they go out using cages. This study investigates the types and characteristics of cages and cage preference by surveying men and women in their 20s who use them. The cage product reviews are also analyzed. The research results are as follows: First, domestic dog cages are classified into crate, shoulder, cross (sling bag), backpack, carrier, and stroller types. The crate type is easy to clean and can be used as a house, but it is bulky and therefore inconvenient to carry when using public transportation. The shoulder type is a fabric material with good air permeability but has the disadvantage of being easily soiled. It can be used as a house and is light weight, making it convenient when using public transportation. Second, as a result of consumer research, respondents prefer the shoulder-type fabric over the crate-type plastic material. Third, from the shoulder-type product review, the shape stability, companion dogs' psychological safety, the wearability of companions, and management convenience are derived. Fourth, based on the survey results, a multi-functional cage is developed taking into account the companion dog, companion person, and functional factors.

센서를 활용한 IoT 디바이스의 사용이 증가함에 따라 센서 기반의 상황 인식을 통한 융복합형 다기능 스마트 주얼리를 개발하였다. 현재 시장에서 공급되는 평범하고 단순한 디자인의 패션 주얼리에 사용자와의 상호작용을 고려한 스마트한 기능과 디자인을 추가였고 본 논문 에서는 스마트 주얼리에서 착장된 센서에서 개인의 생활습관 정보 데이터를 입력받아 네트워크와 연동하고 건강관리 기능을 추가하였다. IoT 기반의 스마트 주얼리 센서가 발생시키는 데이터를 신속하게 관리할 수 있도록 온톨로지로 모델링하고 건강 정보를 서비스 할 수 있도록 스마트 주얼리 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 스마트 앱을 통해 서비스의 상태를 표시된다. 앱은 맞춤형 서비스 사용자에게 위험을 결정하여 질환에 관한 가이드라인을 제공한다.
