For the increasingly complicated and technology dependent 21st century, ICT literacy is being emphasized by education authorities as a key ability needed to succeed in a knowledge-based society. Accordingly, since 2007, several studies have been conducted to measure the ICT literacy levels of students. This study aimed at analyzing how ICT literacy levels vary according to students' skill sets from the viewpoint of educational convenience. To fulfill this goal, the ICT literacy abilities of 167 elementary students and 159 middle school students (all receiving education at "gifted students" education centers) were compared with the following results. First, elementary students displayed differences with regards to 'computer and network' and 'information society and ethics' among the content elements, and 'critical mind' and 'information communication' among capability elements according to their skill sets. Second, middle school students displayed differences with regards to 'information society and ethics' and 'information organization and creation' elements according to their skill sets. The significance of this study lies in the fact that it measured the ICT literacy levels of --and made suggestions for education to-- students specially gifted in information, science and mathematics rather than general students.

This study analyses the relationship between learning style and library skills. The components of learning style and library skills were extracted through literature review. The relationship between learning style and library skills was verified by using T-test. The results indicate that there was Sub-variables of library skills such as 'decimal classification', 'using reference sources', and 'recognizing the parts of a book' had a significant relationship with global variables of learning style. Thus, when the user education for each type of learning style will be considered.

This study was performed to deduce the constituents of competence for the practical duty in technical high school's heat treatment and tensile test practice. In order to accomplish this purpose 1) the constituents of competence for the practical duty were deduced through the job analysis and the skill hierarchy analysis of heat treatment and tensile test, 2) the deduced constituents of competence for the practical skill performance were correspond to the Mager's five performance type, that is, discrimination (knowing when to do it, knowing when it's done), problem solving (how to decide what to do it), recall (knowing what to do, knowing why to do it), manipulation (how to do it) and speech (how to say it). The results of this study will be helped to the selection of learning objective, learning content, instruction and evaluation method.

The purpose of this study was to examine the constituents of vocational competency affecting the professionalism of dental hygienists. The subjects in this study were 230 dental hygienists who worked in university hospitals, dental hospitals, dental clinics and public dental clinics. A survey was conducted from December, 2013, to February, 2014. To assess their vocational competency and professionalism by general characteristics, one-way ANOVA and t-test were utilized, and the level of significance was set at p<0.05. To determine what elements of vocational competency affected their professionalism, multiple regression analysis was made, and standardized regression coefficients were calculated to represent the influence of the elements. As a result, it's found that the professionalism of the dental hygienists were under the influence of their self-development skills, organizational understanding and mathematical ability. To foster self-development skills, discussion method should be utilized, and team teaching should be used to improve organizational understanding. Besides, internship and on-the-job training should be managed in a more systematic way.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of multiple intelligences-specific observation strategy on observation skills, achievement and scientific attitude in elementary science class For this study, the observation learning for the multiple intelligences-specific observation strategy was applied to elementary science class. The results of this study were as follows: To examine this learning materials were applied to elementary science curriculum, and an experimental group and a control group were selected from 4th graders at elementary school J located in Incheon. The results of this study were as follows.: 1. this study was found statistically significant difference in the pupil's enhancement of the observation ability(p<.05). Specifically, analysis of elements of the observation abilities, it was effective to increase abilities of classification of statements, qualitative observation and quantitative observation. 2. science academic achievement of the group using this developed program was significantly higher compared with a control group. 3. there weren't differences between the comparison and experimental groups in term of the scientific attitude. But the experimental group showed greater increases in the openness, spontaneity and creativity that are the elements of scientific attitude. In conclusion, the Multiple Intelligences Observation Training was useful to develop the elementary school student's the observation ability, science academic achievement, scientific attitude(openness, spontaneity and creativity) and better be widely applied to science education.

본 연구는 u-Campus 환경에서 교수능력(teaching skill)을 향상시키기 위한 평가시스템을 설계하고 개발하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 수업효율성과 교수평가에 관한 이론을 고찰하고, 선행 프로그램들을 분석하여 시스템에 포함되어야 할 효율적인 수업행동 평가요소를 추출하였다. 추출된 평가요소를 바탕으로 u-Campus 환경에서 교수능력(teaching skill)을 향상을 위한 요소 즉, 교수-학습활동, 교수-학습활동 평가, 포트폴리오 활용 및 공유, 유비쿼터스 기술, 데이터베이스 영역을 반영하여 시스템을 설계하고 프로토타입(proto type)을 개발하였다. 그리고 이러한 프로토타입(proto type)의 개발은 기존의 평가 방법과 달리 교수 자신의 평가에서 시작하여 본인의 의지에 따라 영역을 넓히면서 평가에 대한 부담을 덜며 교수능력(teaching skill)을 향상시킬 수 있고, u-Campus 환경에서 평가가 어떠한 과정과 방법으로 이루어져야 하는지에 대한 안내를 제공할 것이다. 본 연구가 제시한 u-Campus 환경의 교수능력(teaching skill) 향상을 위한 평가시스템은 교수자의 발전은 물론 대학교육의 질적인 발전에 도움이 될 것이다.

From several commercialized games the technique of changing facial expressions is imported, and a design method of a game character for the player's empathy is expected to be diversified in the future. In this paper, as a design method of a game character for the player's empathy, this makes walking motion for the game character applied with 'human-emotion' factors as statistics variation of a game character in RPG genre. After this paper implements analyzed emotions of human facial expression and walking motions applied with emotion in examples of character animation theory, this paper divides walking motion applied with human-emotion factors into 8 types through relationship to statistics factors in RPG genre. And then these are applied to a knight character, which has the most similarity with human's physical feature of the game characters in RPG genre, and makes walking motion as variable statistics. As a game player controls the game character applied with 'human-emotion' factors, the effect of the player's empathy about the game character becomes higher, and the level of immersion in game play is also expected to increase.

The growth of a game character is represented by the addition and subtraction of the status value. The status factors are variously defined and used depending on the kind of games. In this paper, we propose how character 's status elements are defined and used. We also propose a method for assigning a status value when generating a character considering growth. This method is designed using genetic algorithms to link the growth of a character with an element of time and to generate a character with the appropriate status value according to the change of time. The proposed method is verified through experiments based on time variation.

이 논문에서는 가압중수형(Pressurized Heavy Water Reactor) 프리스트레스 콘크리트 격납건물의 1/4 축소모델에 대한 극한내압능력과 전반적인 비선형거동에 관한 유한요소 해석을 수행하였다. 가압중수형 격납건물은 원통형 벽체와 돔으로 구성되었고, 4개의 부벽을 갖는다. 유한요소해석을 위해서 상용코드 ABAQUS를 이용하였고, 콘크리트, 철근 및 텐던에 대한 수치모델링을 작성하여 자중과 내압하중을 적용하였고, 텐던의 2% 변형률을 기준으로 극한내압능력을 평가하였다. 이때 사용된 재료모델로 콘크리트는 Concrete Damaged Plasticity 모델을 사용하였고, 철근과 텐던은 Elasto-Plastic 모델을 적용하였다. 유한요소 해석결과 콘크리트의 초기균열 0.41MPa에서 발생하였고, 극한내압은 0.56MPa 정도로 평가되었다.

The goal of cyber teaching is to reduce the cost of private lessons, dissipate the educational disparity amongst regions, make classes apt to the given level of every group of students, make up for systematic defects of the public education, and ultimately strengthen its role. This study intends to analyze the capabilities of cyber teachers and clarify their qualifications, as the whole new e-Learning system is about to take root. In this study, the activities of cyber teachers are analyzed and some standards of applicability of cyber teachers, or the so-called ISSCT, are presented. Firstly, the activities are divided into teaching, counselling, process management, development of professionality. Based upon these four activities, nine tasks have been formed and the structure of 22 sub-tasks has been completed. This is the way the standards of applicability of cyber teachers are established in consideration with their activities. Secondly, the standards of information capability of cyber teachers have 53 elements in total, and the aforementioned ISSCT are presented in relation to the ISST, based upon the standards of information capability of cyber teachers.
