A Study on the Level Estimation of Key Competencies in Automobile Production Management Fields (자동차 생산 관리 분야 직업기초능력의 수준 평가 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to estimate key competencies according to their levels in order to understand person's ability in automobile fields of school and workplace. For this study, key competencies consisting of mathematical skills, problem solving skills, communications skills, self management and development skills, resources recycling skills, interpersonal relationship skills, technological skills, information skills, organizational understanding skills were determined. We examined the related literatures to determine the level of key competencies and diverse opinions were accommodated with visits to workplace in order to enhance the validity of the results of this study. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that the estimation of key competencies according to their levels was possible and valid.

  • 국제해사기구의 MSC 98차 회의에서 새로운 도출 의제로 MASS(Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships)가 포함됨에 따라 선박 자동화와 무인화는 해상분야의 국제적인 이슈로 떠올랐다. 유럽의 선급과 연구소 및 제조사 등은 선박자동화의 수준을 다양하게 정의하고 있으나 기술요소와 시스템을 기반으로 하고 있어 선원의 역할과 교육분야에 대한 고려는 반영되어 있지 않다. 본 연구의 목적은 자동화 수준에 따라 항해사 또는 육상관리자에게 요구되는 해기능력을 식별하여 각 면허에 대한 적용안과 교육 및 양성에 필요한 기초연구 자료를 제시하고자 한다. 선박 자동화 수준에 대한 다양한 정의를 조사하고, 현재 항해사 및 선장 에게 요구되는 STCW 해기능력을 항목화 하였다. 선박의 자동화와 원격운항의 적용에 따라 제외되거나 추가적으로 요구되는 해기능력을 식별하고 자동화 수준별로 분류하였다. 제시된 해기능력과 면허의 구분에 대한 안을 기반으로 업계와 해기교육기관 전문가들의 검토를 통해 선박자동화와 인적요소에 대한 자동화 수준의 명확한 정의가 필요할 것이다.

The Teaching Competency and Educational Needs of Electricity·Electronic·Communication Technical Teachers (전기·전자·통신 계열 공업교사의 교수능력과 교육요구)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the present teaching competency level and the educational needs of electricity electronic communication technical teachers. The population was electricity electronic communication technical teachers, 750 teachers were sampled for this study. A survey questionnaire consisted of teaching competencies scale including 3 domains based on Performance-Based Teacher Education Modules. The professional competencies scale consisted of 5-point Likert-type 30 items for them to rate the importance and also to indicate the teaching competency level. A questionnaire was mailed to the sample and 443 returned questionnaires were analyzed after data cleaning. The educational needs of teachers were calculated by using the Borich's needs assessment formula. The findings of this study were as follows. 1) electricity electronic communication technical teachers perceived all the thirty competencies as highly important ones. 2) They perceived that their current teaching competency level was just beyond the ordinary level but was lower than the good level. 3) The highest needs were 'determining learning level & interests of students', 'applying problem solving techniques', 'reconstructing lesson contents', 'establishing lesson objectives'. 4) They have a different level of educational needs on the competencies according to their gender, terminal education level, year of teaching experience, practical work experience, school type(national public school/private school), and school location.

  • The Korean government developed an organizational maturity model for public data quality management based on international standards to evaluate the data quality management level of public organizations, However, as the model has too many indicators to apply on the site, a new model with reduced number of indicators is proposed in this paper. First, the number of processes is reduced by integrating and modifying the processes of the previous model. Second, a new maturity evaluation method is proposed based on capability levels focused on the activity, not on the process. Third, the maturity level of public data quality management is represented by five discrete levels or real values of 1 through 5. Finally, characteristics of the proposed model are compared with those of the previous model.

An Analysis of Relationship Between Self-Cognition Level of Information Literacy and Library Anxiety (정보활용능력 인지 수준과 도서관 불안 간의 관계 분석)

  • The study analyzed the relationship between self-cognition level of information literacy(SCLIL) and library anxiety(LA). SCLIL was 3.72 point, LA was 2.47 point, and these results are similar to previous studies. SCLIL and LA are correlated each other significantly(r=r=-0.493, p<0.05). Higher SCLIL leads to lower LA. Also, the study found the main factors of LA was lack of methods to access information', 'lack of confidence in evaluating the information's relevance.' For those who are going to major in Library and Information Science, it is found that they have less LA and lower SCLIL compared to those who are not willing to major in Library and Information Science, and this shows a tendency to downplay their own abilities, while tending a more positive image of libraries. Based on the results, recommendations were made to use social and psychological standard tests in order to elaborately and diversely reflect individual information user's psychological aspect.

  • 다가올 21세기를 한 마디로 규정짓는다면 정보화 사회라고 말할 수 있다. 이러한 정보화 사회는 국가의 힘과 부, 개인의 삶의 수준이 기술, 정보, 지식, 문화 등 지식 자산의 수준에 의하여 결정된다. 지적 자산의 수준은 본질적으로 개개인의 학습 능력과 창의력에 의존하고, 더 구체적으로는 정보를 획득하고 평가하는 능력, 정보를 조직하고 관리하는 능력, 정보를 해석하고 유통 활용하는 능력 등의 함양 여부에 달려 있다. 우리나라의 교육에서도 정보화 교육이 이루어지고는 있지만, 아직까지 초보적인 수준을 벗어나지 못하고 있다. 특히 각 교과 활동에서 정보를 수집, 분석, 유통, 활용하는 능력을 신장시키기 위한 다각적인 노력을 기울이고 있다. 이 논문에서는 초등학교에서 데이터베이스 개념활동을 통해 정보소양능력을 기르는 방안을 제안하고자 한다. 정보소양 능력을 향상하는 방안으로 기존의 컴퓨터를 통한 데이터베이스의 사전 지식이나 이론의 도입 없이 데이터베이스 개념을 통한 활동 중심적인 프로젝트를 수행함에 따라 자연스럽게 정보소양능력이 향상되는지 알아보고자 한다.

Engineering basic competencies level and educatkonal needs analysis of engineering college graduates (공대 졸업생들의 공학기초능력 수준과 교육 요구 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze engineering basic competencies about the time completed a course and educational needs of engineering college graduates. Survey method using questionnaire was the major research method of this study. A survey of 807 engineering college graduates was carried out. Questionnaire were made of the level of engineering basic competencies of engineering college graduates, its priorities of actual vocation and level of engineering basic competencies of major. Major results of the study, some recommendations for future researches were made as follows: The level of engineering basic competencies of engineering college graduates was 3.3 average(5 full marks). Engineering basic competencies that educational needs were high respectively, were an ability to communicate effectively, an ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs, an ability to function on multi-disciplinary teams, an ability to understand global culture and cooperate internationally, an ability to design and conduct experiment as well as to analyze and interpret data, and an ability to engage in life-long learning.

  • The purpose of this research is to find the effects of learner-centered instruction based on constructivism (LCIC) on their knowledge generation level and reasoning ability. To look for them, after fraction units are re-planed for implementing LCIC, instructions using it provide students in a class. From the data, some conclusions can be drawn as follows: LCIC has more positive influence of students on recall ability, generation ability, and reasoning ability than tractional instruction method. With the data it can be said that the interaction exists between learners' reasoning ability and generation level.

  • 소프트웨어 프로세스 능력 수준에 영향을 미치는 요인을 찾아내어, 강점은 격려하고 약점을 개선하는 프로세스 개선활동은 기업의 경쟁력 향상을 위하여 매우 중요한 일이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 요인을 찾아내기 위하여 SPICE(ISO/IEC 15504) 프로젝트에서 국제적으로 실시된 소프트웨어 심사 결과를 이용하였다. 분석 요인으로 IT부서 사원수, ISO 9001 인증여부, 안정성, 경제적 손실도, 보안성, 환경 영향도를 사용하였으며, 본 자료가 범주형이므로 분석 방법으로 통계적인 방법론인 "수량화방법 II"를 이용하였다. 수량화방법 II에서는 요인의 중요도를 나타내는 지표로 범위와 편상관을 사용한다. "범위"를 지표로 할 경우, 보안성이 능력수준과 가장 높은 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, "편상관"을 지표로 할 경우, ISO 9001 인증이 가장 관련이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 보안성이 높게 요구되는 회사의 경우, 품질시스템이 잘 갖춰져 있고, ISO 9001 인증을 받는 둥의 품질관리를 하여 프로세스 능력수준 또한 높게 나왔다고 추론할 수 있다.

Analysis of Relationships of Scientific Communication Skills, Science Process Skills, Logical Thinking Skills, and Academic Achievement Level of Elementary School Students (초등학생의 과학적 의사소통능력과 과학 탐구능력, 논리적 사고력, 학업 성취도 수준과의 관계 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to acquire teaching insights for improving scientific literacy by analyzing the effects of scientific communication skills, science process skills, and logical thinking skills of elementary school students on academic achievement level. The participants are 64, sixth grade elementary school students. Survey materials include the results of Scientific Communication Skill Test (SCST), Test of Science Process Skills (TSPS), Group Assessment of Logical Thinking (GALT), multiple choice test & short answer test, descriptive answer test on science, and academic achievement level test on all subjects. Based on these data, the study analyzed the relationships of science process skills, logical thinking skills, and scientific communication skills, and each category's effect on academic achievement level. Furthermore, under the assumption that scientific communication skills are affected by science process skills and logical thinking skills and directly influence the academic level, the research discovered three types of correlations as a structural model. The results show that there are considerable correlations in scientific communication skills, science process skills, and logical thinking skills. Also, these three abilities have meaningful correlations with learner's writing and descriptive question level on science curriculum and overall academic achievement level; the level of correlation differ a bit by subcategory factors. In conclusion, setting the model, science process skills and logical thinking skills influence scientific communication skill, and the skill directly influences the learner's academic level. Further analysis of the results show that scientific communication skill influences the academic achievement level of all subjects the most.
