Anti-islanding using Active Frequency Shake Method for Grid-connected PV Generation System (계통연계형 태양광발전시스템의 AFS 기법을 이용한 단독운전 방지)

  • The islanding detection and prevention function in the important performance of the grid-connected inverter is the essential details which should be considered for worker's safety to maintain the system. This paper tries to suggest the active frequency shake islanding detection technique in the grid-connected PV generation system using sunlight. The existing active frequency drift method algorithm is described to suggest active frequency shake method algorithm. And, the algorithm which can reduce the non-detection zone, improve THD, and improve the detection speed in comparison with the existing algorithm is suggested. And we applied the proposed algorithm to the 3kW grid-connected photovoltaic inverter generation and verified the feasibility of the technique through the simulation and experiments.

  • In a Vehicle, Safety is the most important factor for drivers. It is well known that tire pressure lower than normal reduces the safety of the vehicle. In a consideration of active safety, tire pressure monitoring system is absolutely required. Tire pressure monitoring using in-tire pressure sensors with an RE data link have proven to be best approach to measuring tire pressure over the widest range of operating conditions. In this paper, we describe the parameters of TPMS, the characteristic of tire pressure and temperature compensation. These are the main factors to design the decision logic. We will show the guidelines for TPMS logic development considering environment variables and vehicle conditions.

  • The wire and/or wireless data communication system for anti-disaster system of natural gas governor station was developed. In oder to prevent accidents of governor station, the operator was replaced by RTU(Remote Terminal Unit) which gather and transmit safety situation of governor station. The database and MMI(Man Machine Interface) were also developed to analyze the situation of governor station. The data communication between server and RTU was designed to switch automatically from wire to wireless communication and vice versa when one of them failed communication. We also have developed the patrol car management system which was applied GPS(Global Position System)/GIS(Geometric Information System), and the earthquake detection/transmission system which was adopted three dimension acceleration sensor. When a earthquake may occur, the earthquake detection/transmission system monitors data such as PGA(Peak Ground Acceleration), Sl(Spectrum Intensity) and orders the emergency shutoff valve close immediately.

  • In thls Paper, we Propose a new scheme, protecting information about the location of a mobile user against attacks from inside users of the mobile communication, especially the network providers. There have already been some proposals about how to protect location information of user in mobile communication environments〔1-5〕. Among them, Kesdogan et al.〔2, 3〕 proposed a new method, using so-called temporary pseudonyms and also described protection method against a passive and an active attack of network providers. However, the description of protection method against the active attack between the two is not clear. Moreover, there is an additional load that it should append a reachability manager〔1, 6〕 to the proposed system. Therefore, we propose a new scheme improving the above method of Kesdogan et al. and analyze its security and effectiveness.

A Study on the Improvement Strategy of Specialized Institution for Efficient Operations of Maritime Traffic Safety Audit Scheme (해상교통안전진단제도의 효율적 운영을 위한 전문기관의 발전방향에 대한 고찰)

  • To improve and modify the problems in Maritime Traffic Safety Audit(MTSA) Scheme, "Maritime Safety Research Center(MSRC)" in Korea Ship Safety and Technology Authority(KST) was designated as specialized institute for MTSA through general revision of "Enforcement of MTSA"(March 2012). However, the roles of the MSRC such as preliminary review of safety audit report, comments on target project and etc. had not been defined clearly on the related maritime safety laws compared with other specialized institutes in other similar audit scheme. In this research, the improvement strategies were proposed for development of specialized institute through SWOT analysis, gathering the opinion from related professions and also comparison with the roles and current status of operation in other similar specialized institutes. In conclusion, the 'Screen & scoping system', 'Consultant system' were proposed for efficient operation of the MTSA Scheme, and the systematic and operational improvements such as a revision of maritime safety lan and etc. were also suggested for integrated management about costal development works, development of specialized institute.

  • 과거 활용되던 재난관련 정보는 재난 발생을 신속하게 전파하거나, 피해규모, 복구자원 현황을 파악하는 등 재난피해 복구에 초점이 맞춰져 있었다. 그러나 최근에는 IT 기반이 확충되고 컴퓨팅 성능이 향상됨에 따라 그 양상이 변화하고 있다. 정형 및 비정형 데이터를 활용한 빅데이터 분석 기술은 재난의 예방과 대비를 위한 기술에 활용되고 있으며, 재난현장의 실시간 정보획득을 위해 IoT 기술이 도입되고 있다. 이처럼 재난정보의 수집, 관리, 분석 제공에 관한 중요성이 증대됨에 따라서 재난의 양상에 능동적으로 대처하고 정보의 효율적인 관리 및 이용을 위해 클라우드 컴퓨팅에 대한 관심이 부각되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 재난관련 정보 활용 양상 변화에 대처하기 위해 재난관리시스템에 클라우드 컴퓨팅 서비스의 적용 방안을 검토하고자 한다. 사회가 복잡해짐에 따라 재난은 이제 사회 전반의 모든 정보를 다뤄야 하기 때문에, 과거 빅데이터의 3대 요소인 크기(Volume), 속도(Velocity), 다양성(Varsity)을 넘어 정확성(Veracity)과 가치(Value)를 뽑아낼 수 있는 방안에 대해 설명한다. 나아가 재난정보시스템의 효율적인 활용을 위한 클라우드 컴퓨팅 서비스의 활용방안에 대해 논의한다.

  • 지능형 차량정보 시스템은 21세기 교통체계로 기대를 모으고 있는 ITS(Intellligent Transport System)의 구축에 핵심이 되는 시스템이다. 이러한 시스템을 구현하기 위해서 종래의 네비게이션, 차량용 무선통신, 차량진단 등의 단일화된 시스템을 통합적으로 수행하며, 계측 또는 수집된 데이터를 분석하여 지능적으로 차량의 주행 상태를 분석 / 진단함으로써 차량에서의 안전한 운행과 운전자 및 승객들이 요구하는 정보 또는 다양한 서비스를 제공하기 위한 새로운 모듈의 개발이 절실히 필요한 실정이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 CAN(Controller Area Network) BUS을 이용한 차량의 상태수집 모듈과 능동 데이터베이스에 관해 기술하고 이를 통합하기 위한 임베디드 보드를 이용한 CAN BUS연계형 차량용 복합통신모듈의 프로토타입 H/W을 구성하여 실용화 가능성 및 유용성을 제시하고자 하였다.

A Key Management System for Cloud Services Based on Proxy Server Using Self-Creating Algorithm (셀프 생성 알고리즘을 사용한 프락시 서버를 기반으로 한 클라우드 서비스를 위한 키 관리 시스템)

  • A key role in cloud computing systems that is becoming an issue is implementing a database on untrusted cloud servers requiring the complexity of key management. This study proposes a key management system using Self Proxy Servers to minimize key executions and improve the performance of cloud services by generating Self-Creating Algorithms where the data owner is not directly concerned with related keys when a user sends an encrypted database a query. The Self Proxy Server supports active and autonomous key managements as a distributed server if any trouble should arise from a cloud key server and for an efficient cloud key management. Therefore, the key management system provides secure cloud services by supporting confidentiality of a cloud server database.

  • Airport GIS is a comprehensive information system to improve security and efficiency of airport. At the initial stage to make it real, the current status of domestic and international regulations along with relevant standardization bas been reviewed. Gimpo Airport becomes a test-bed to get some ideas about how to bring the airport GIS into workflow by building service model and basic design based on current status and demand analysis of the airport. The 6 service models primarily brought into the project are as follows: (1) Local vehicles safety management in airside, (2) Intelligent traffic control between flights and vehicles at main cross points, (3) Dynamic safety management against FOD in airside and breakage on pavement, (4) Special support vehicle management such as deicing remotely controlled, (5) Response and support for fire vehicles and ambulances of signatory institutions in emergency. The upcoming research topic aims at drawing a specific design and building integrated system in the future.

Methodology of Calibration for Falling Objects Accident-Risk-Zone Approach Detection Algorithm at Port Considering GPS Errors (GPS 오차를 고려한 항만 내 낙하물 사고위험 알고리즘 보정 방법론 개발)

  • Real-time location-sensing technology using location information collected from IoT devices is being applied for safety management purposes in many industries, such as ports. On the other hand, positional error is always present owing to the characteristics of GPS. Therefore, accident-risk detection algorithms must consider positional error. This paper proposes an methodology of calibration for falling object accident-risk-zone approach detection algorithm considering GPS errors. A probability density function was estimated, with positional error data collected from IoT devices as a probability variable. As a result of the verification, the algorithm showed a detection accuracy of 93% and 77%. Overall, the analysis results derived according to the GPS error level will be an important criterion for upgrading algorithms and real-time risk managements in the future.
