이 연구의 목적은 2003년부터 농촌진흥청에서 이루어져 왔던 이러닝시스템에 대한 실태와 참여농가의 만족도를 파악하고 향후 이러닝시스템의 발전방향을 모색하는 데 있다. 농촌진흥청은 2003년부터 웹과 비디오화상시스템에 기반을 둔 이러닝시스템(e-learning system)을 이용하여 농가에 대한 지도와 교육사업을 전개하여 왔다. 2003년에는 이러닝을 통한 교육과정에 251명의 농민이 등록하였으며, 이 중 최종적으로 126명이 오이, 고추, 토마토에 대한 생산과 경영관리 교육과정을 수료하였다. 2004년에는 503명의 농민이 이러닝 교육과정에 등록하였으며, 이중 313명의 농가가 버섯, 딸기, 수박에 대한 생산과 경영관리 교육과정을 수료하였다. 이러닝 교육과정에 참여하는 농민의 76%가 이러닝시스템을 통한 교육에 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러닝을 위한 시스템 형태에 따른 선호도는 비디오화상시스템만을 이용한 경우는 23%. 웹만을 이용한 경우는 13%, 이 두 시스템을 통합하여 운영한 경우에는 59%로서 통합시스템운영이 더 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 현재 진흥정이 구축한 통합시스템은 동시에 1000명 이상의 농민을 대상으로 교육을 실시할 수 있다. 지도사업의 예산과 인원이 과거에 비해 줄어들고 있는 상황에서 이러닝시스템은 향후 농민들을 대상으로 한 지도와 교육에 효과적인 대안이 될 수 있다.

Farm village business performance may be influenced by village leader's leadership and conflict management between villagers, so the objective of this study is to analyze the relationships among farm village leader's leadership, conflict management between villagers and farm village business performance. The questionnaire was performed for 376 villagers in Jeollabuk-do Province. The collected data was analyzed by structural equation model and Sobel test. The result shows that farm village leader's leadership such as human-relationship ability, management ability, communication skills, and industrial knowledge ability have statistically significant positive effects on the conflict management between villagers. The conflict management between villagers also showed a statistically significant positive effects on the social and economic performance. The farm village leader's leadership such as human-relationship ability, sensibility·awareness ability, management ability, communication skills, industrial knowledge ability showed no statistically significant effects on the social and economic performance. But, they showed a statistically significant effects on the farm village business performance in indirect manner with the mediating effect of the conflict management between villagers. It is worthwhile that in this study, the effect of village leader's leadership on the conflict management between villagers and farm village business performance was verified, and then, it is meaningful to present the role and importance of farm village leader's leadership.

This paper explores agricultural extension systems, extension challenges, research and extension models, governance structures of agricultural extension and advisory services in Sudan. Agricultural extension services in Sudan are provided by a variety of governmental department and corporation. The Technology Transfer and Extension Administration under the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation, had been launched during mid 2000's aims at making extension systems farmer driven and farmer accountable by way of new institutional arrangements for technology dissemination in the form of community participation approach at the state level, to make the extension reforms have the active participation of farmers/farmer groups. The main problem facing agricultural extension services in developing countries is poor link between extension organization and research. Both extension administration and Agricultural Research Corporation (ARC) are operating as departments of ministry of Agricultural and irrigation for very long time. There are three recommendations to achieve the effectiveness of the Agricultural Research Corporations (ARC) in reaching farmers. Firstly, extension staff members should be assigned to every ARC station. Secondly, the ARC might increase positions for Agricultural development specialist or Farming System Research (FSR) specialist. Their role would be to reflect the needed of farmer and translate them to the researchable topics. Thirdly, researcher should conduct more research on farmer's fields.

이 연구의 목적은 농촌진흥청에서 시행하고 있는 농촌여성 일감 갖기 사업장을 운영하고 있는 농촌여성 소규모 창업자의 특성과 사업 성과와의 관계를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 농촌진흥청이 실시하고 있는 농촌일감갖기 사업에 참여하고 있는 71명을 대상으로 자료를 수집한 이 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 39개의 창업가 특성 항목은 9개의 요인으로 구분되었는데, 각각 1) 새로운 것을 학습하고 불확실성을 감수하고자 하는 정도, 2) 혁신성과 자신감, 3) 네트워킹과 유연성, 4) 관심, 5) 자아성취동기, 6) 도전정신, 7) 자발적인 관여, 8) 커뮤니케이션 능력, 9) 사업에 대한 지식 등으로 명명이 가능하였다. 이들 9개의 요인은 전체 변량의 76%를 설명하고 있다. 둘째, 사업성공 변수는 전반적인 사업장 운영상태와 상품의 판매 상태 두 가지로 측정하였는데, 전반적인 사업장 운영 상태는 본인들의 사업과 관련된 메모를 명확하게 작성하고 다른 사람들과 불안감 없이 커뮤니케이션할 수 있는 능력에 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 상품의 판매 상태는 예상되는 사업에 대한 지식과 시간 일을 할 수 있는 능력에 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 두 변수를 합산함으로써 측정된 전반적인 사업성공 정도는 사업의 성장과 사업 자체에 대한 관심에 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구는 71명의 사례에 바탕을 두어 연구를 하였기 때문에 그 결과의 일반화에는 다소의 한계가 있지만, 농촌여성 소규모 창업자들의 사업성과와 창업자 특성과의 관계를 분석하는 기초 자료로서의 활용은 가능하다고 판단된다.
