A Study on the Extraction of Specific Audio Feature In Basketball Video (농구 비디오에서 특정 음성 특징 추출에 관한 연구)

  • 최근 멀티미디어 정보 시스템에서의 음성 핀 시각적 내용의 분류에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 농구 경기의 비디오 데이터로부터 특정 음성 정보를 추출하는 방법과 이를 농구 게임의 중요 이벤트 검출에 이용하는 방법을 제안한다. MFCC 특징들과 LPC 엔트로피의 조합을 이용하여 검출된 관중들의 환호 소리로부터 중요한 이벤트의 위치를 예측할 수 있다. 농구 경기의 다양한 소리들 중에서 관중들의 환호 소리를 분류하여 이를 농구 비디오 데이터에서 중요한 이벤트들을 검출하는데 사용함으로써 매우 효과적 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

  • 벤처기업 CEO의 본질적 역량과 역할은 조직의 자원을 얼마나 효율적으로 운영하는가에 따라 관리자로서 조직성과에 큰 영향을 미친다. 이러한 중요성에도 불구하고 CEO 역량 수준이 조직이 내재하는 자원에 미치는 영향에 대한 이론적 고찰과 CEO의 역량 수준과 조직성과 간의 관계가 조직 구성원의 역량에 따라서 어떻게 달라지는가에 관한 실증연구는 매우 부족한 실정이다. 기존 선행연구의 한계점을 보완하기 위해 본 연구에서는 자원기반이론(resource-based view of the firm)을 바탕으로 프로스포츠 산업에서의 조직 구성원의 역량에 따른 관리자의 감독역할에 대해 실증적으로 분석하였다. 구체적으로, 본 연구에서는 기존의 스포츠 기업가정신(sport entrepreneurship) 연구 분야의 이론을 경영전략의 자원기반관점과 융합하여 벤처기업 CEO와 프로스포츠 감독의 역할이 조직구조와 성과 메커니즘의 측면에서 매우 흡사하며 조직의 자원을 효율적으로 운영하고 성과를 도출하는 측면에서 모두 기업가(entrepreneur)적 특성을 반드시 내재해야 한다고 본다. 이러한 맥락에서 프로스포츠팀에서의 관리자로서의 감독 역량과 조직성과 간의 관계에서 조직의 자원 효율성의 매개효과와 조직 구성원 역량에 대한 조절효과를 설명하고자 한다. 미국프로농구(NBA) 30개 구단과 한국프로농구(KBL) 10개 구단의 9개 시즌(2013~2014시즌 - 2021~2022시즌)의 감독과 팀 데이터를 실증분석에 있어 프로세스 매크로 58 모형을 적용하여 본 연구의 가설을 검증하였다. 실증분석 결과, 미국프로농구과 한국프로농구 데이터 모두에서 (1) 프로농구팀의 자원 효율성은 감독의 역량과 승률 간의 정(+)의 관계를 매개하고, (2) 조직 구성원의 역량은 농구팀의 자원 효율성을 통한 감독 역량이 승률에 미치는 간접효과를 조절(p<.05) 하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 비교적 객관적으로 조직의 성과측정이 가능한 프로스포츠 데이터를 활용하여 프로스포츠 산업에서 벤처기업의 CEO와 유사한 기업가적 역할을 수반해야 하는 감독 및 조직 구성원의 역량이 조직의 성과에 미치는 영향을 실증분석하는 한편 스포츠 애널리틱스(sport analytics) 분야와 경영학 연구를 융합하였다는 의의가 있다.

  • The purpose of this to study a more accurate scoring method in accordance with the change in the game due to the fast-break and external shots of modern basketball. We will make to design and develop a smart basketball device with a digital pressure sensor. The basketball is a sport that combines complex techniques such as dribbling, passing, and shooting, and the game wins or loses with the most goals in all sports on the planet. In particular, shooting, which determines the win or loss of a game, is the technique that is most directly linked to the score, so the angle of projection is important to make a more accurate shooting. The purpose of this to develop an assistive device in order for the player to have a certain shooting rhythm by measuring the throw angle through a sensor that can measure the throw angle of the ball during shooting. This smart basketball device, it is possible to increase the accuracy of shooting through a certain throw angle at the basketball game field or during shooting practice, and accordingly, the performance can be expected to improve.

And the score information is obtained by recognizing the digits on the score caption and analyzing the variation of the score. Generally, important events of basketball are the 3-point shot, one-sided runs, the lead changes, and so on. We have detected these events using score information and made summaries and highlights of basketball video games.

  • 대한민국의 대표적인 구기 종목 중 하나인 농구는 입문 시 기본 동작에 적응하고 기본 규칙을 이해하기 위해 많은 시간이 소비된다. 또한 기존 농구 학습 분야에서 평가 수행 시 평가 대상자의 실력을 정량적으로 도출하는 것이 힘들어 중 고등학교 체육교과의 수행평가에서 객관적인 평가가 이루어지기 힘들었다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 농구 학습의 한계점을 해결하기 위하여 3축 자이로 센서와 스위치가 적용된 웨어러블 시스템을 기반으로 농구 학습을 도와주는 동작인식 기법을 제안한다. 그리고 실험을 통하여 제안하는 동작인식 기법의 성능을 검증하였으며, 생활체육 활성화를 통한 국민 건강증진과 객관적인 수행평가 실현에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

Comparison of Temperament and Cognitive Function Between Basketball and Baseball Players (농구 선수와 야구 선수의 기질 및 인지 기능의 비교)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was investigating the differences in temperament, personality, and cognitive function among athletes and non-athletes, as well as differences within athlete groups participating in different-paced sports like baseball and basketball. Methods : A total of 57 professional basketball players, 51 professional baseball players, and 44 non-athletes subjected to temperament and characteristics inventory assessments and computerized neurocognitive function test. One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was employed to analyze the average differences in demographic characteristics, temperament, personality traits, and cognitive functions among the three groups, followed by Bonferroni post hoc tests. Comparisons between starters and non-starters within the athlete groups were conducted using the Mann-Whitney U test. Results : In the analysis of temperament, the basketball and baseball player groups exhibited higher reward dependence and persistence compared to the control group. Additionally, in the assessment of personality traits, both basketball and baseball player groups scored higher in self-directedness and cooperativeness compared to the control group, whereas self-transcendence scores were lower. In cognitive ability assessments, baseball and basketball players outperformed the control group in emotional perception tests. Both baseball and basketball players showed lower card movement counts compared to the control group. Conclusions : This study compared the differences in temperament, personality, and cognitive abilities between professional basketball and baseball players and non-athletes. These results provide valuable insights into the temperament, personality, and cognitive abilities of professional athletes, contributing important information for athlete development and coaching goals in the future.

'Female Basketball Athletes Entered the College of Education': A Story about Education and Career of Student Athletes ('여자농구선수들, 사범대학에 오다': 학생선수의 학업과 진로에 대한 이야기)

  • The purpose of the present study is to observe in-depth what kind of changes the establishment of a female basketball team in a college of education and the experiences the female basketball players have within that situation bring to their lives and their paths in life and social implications. To achieve this purpose, the female basketball team at the Department of Physical Education in P University was selected as a research environment and its members as research participants and qualitative research was conducted. Research results showed first, that female basketball athletes were already on a set path before they entered college. They had not thought about their path in life independently and had a passive attitude towards their life paths and were experiencing a culture in which studies were not permitted. Second, female basketball athletes discovered a new path upon college entrance. While meeting various friends, they gained friends and not just colleagues and after becoming aware that the main character in their lives is 'themselves', they showed autonomy. Based on this, factors for their change, which are the implications of this study, were first, the environment of P University's college of education which has strict regulations and a strong emphasis on academics when compared to other universities, second, the identity of being the first enrollments into the female basketball team of P University's college of education and the distinct characteristics of being a female athlete, third, the group's leader who contributed to their positively directed change. Ultimately, these factors served an important role in leading their change in the large frame of a university environment.

A Study on the Shooting Traning of Basketball Sports Club using Video File (영상 자료를 활용한 학생 농구부 슈팅 훈련 지도방안)

  • In this study, we analyzed the angle of shooting based on the footage of shooting training of basketball student athletes taken by the basketball team leaders. In the shooting video, the shot height of the player and the trajectory of the ball were drawn through a solid line, and the player was shown to guide the player to adjust the angle of projection to a situation where the success rate was higher. Through this study, the video shows that efficient guidance can be made available to basketball players.
