Gate Sizing Of Multiple-paths Circuit (다중 논리경로 회로의 게이트 크기 결정 방법)

  • Logical Effort [1, 2] is a simple hand-calculated method that measures quick delay estimation. It has the advantage of reducing the design cycle time. However, it has shortcomings in designing a path for minimum area or power under a fixed-delay constraint. The method of overcoming the shortcomings is shown in [3], but it is constrained for a single logical path. This paper presents an advanced gate sizing method in multiple logical paths based on the equal delay model. According to the results of the simulation, the power dissipation for both the existing logical effort method and proposed method is almost equal. However, compared with the existing logical effort method, it is about 52 (%) more efficient in space.

  • 최근 에체멘디는 초과생성과 미달생성의 문제를 들어 타르스키의 모델이론적 논리적 귀결의 정의의 외연적 적합성을 공격하였다. 그러한 공격의 기저에는 우연성 문제가 도사리고 있다고 보이고, 실질적으로 타르스키류의 정의를 적용함에 있이 무만 공리를 통해 논리외적 요소기 개입할 위험이 있다는 것이 그의 근본적 가정이라 생각된다. 이 글에서는 무한 공리가 논리적 진리일 기능성을 조심스레 타진이고, 논리상항과 비논리상항을 기리는 문제가 에체멘디가 생각하듯 신화가 아니라 논리적인 것과 논리외적인 것을 구별하는 문제와 동일한, 진정한 철학적 문제임을 보이는 데 노력한다.

On the Concept of Generality of the Tractatus ("논리-철학 논고"의 일반성 개념에 관하여)

  • Both 5.52 and 5.521 of the Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus raise several questions. In this paper I will explicate Wittgenstein's concept of generality by answering such questions. These questions and problems are closely intertwined. I will try to show what follows. It is ${\xi}$-conditions that are most decisive on the concept of generality of the Tractatus. Except Ramsey, commentators such as Anscombe, Glock, Kenny etc. failed in accurately grasping the Wittgenstein's thoughts concerning ${\xi}$-condition and their claims are not fair at all. Futhermore, from a view point of history of logic, 5.52 has very important significances. That is to say, it anticipates for the first time a possibility of infinitary logic and the concept of universe of discourse in model theory.

  • 격납건물 사건수목 방법은 확률론적 안전성 평가시 격납건물 해석의 핵심을 이루는 부분으로서 계통안전 분석으로부터 파악된 주요 노심용융 사고경위와 격납건물 방호계통의 적절한 조합에 의하여 선정된 발전소손상군을 초기조건으로 하여 격납건물 파손 및 방사선원 방출에 영향을 주는 격납건물 내부에서 발생 가능한 주요 사고진행 과정을 체계적으로 다룰 수 있는 유용한 수단이다. 원자력 안전성 향상연구이후 격납건물의 건전성을 확보하기 위한 많은 노력의 결과 현재까지 격납건물 해석 및 논리체계는 상당한 기술적 진보를 이루어 왔으나 아직도 이를 기술하는 방식에는 논쟁의 여지가 많고, 중대사고와 관련된 여러 현상들을 반영할때 그것의 논리적 타당성을 객관적으로 평가할 수 있는 방법이 아직 확고히 정착되지 못함으로 인하여 격납건물 해석결과에는 많은 불확실성 이 존재한다. 또한 아직까지 기존 방법론에 대한 어떠한 종류의 체계적 분석도 이루어지지 않음으로 인하여 이들에 대한 논리적 한계점을 파악하는 데 많은 어려움이 있다. 본 연구에서는 지금까지 주로 개발, 사용되어 온 다양한 격납건물 사건수목 분석 방법론을 소개하고 이들 각각이 지니고 있는 기술적인 문제점을 고찰하며 이를 바탕으로 격납건물 사건수목이 갖추어야 할 기본논리, 구조에 대한 안내지침을 제시함으로써 효과적인 격납건물 해석 및 방법론 개발에 도움을 주고자 한다

The Relationships of Graphing Abilities to Logical Thinking and Science Process Skills of Middle School Students (중학생의 그래프 능력과 논리적 사고력 및 과학 탐구 능력의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships of graphing abilities to logical thinking and science process skills of middle school students. The subjects for this study were selected 481 students from four middle schools for TOGS(the Test of Graphing in Science), GALT(Group Assessment of Logical Thinking) and TIPS II (Test of Integrated Process Skills). This study shows that the correlation coefficient between abilities of students to construct/interpret graphs and the logical thinking was 0.45, and the correlation coefficient between abilities to construct/interpret graphs and science process skills are 0.32. As a result, abilities of students to construct and interpret graphs arc more correlate the logical thinking than science process skills.

  • Conservation reasoning makes operational thought possible as a functional tool and it is the essential concept not only in the area of science and mathematics but also in several aspects of daily life. The abilities to solve mathematical problems and that of scientific reasoning and abstract way of thinking depend on whether thereis conservation reasoning or not and they are critical concepts that enables us to confirm the steps of cognitive development. Therefor in the study, we emphasized the issue that is the ways to speed up the scientific era by analyzing the correlation between the formation of conservation reasoning and neuro-cognitive variables. About 50% of 1-3 grade students did not had conservation reasoning skills. The formation of conservations was not linear. Scientific reasoning ability, planing and inhibiting ability were significantly different in levels of conservation, And, conservation reasonings were significantly correlated with cognitive variables. Scientific reasoning and planning ability significantly explained about 20% of the conservation reasoning ability of 1-3 grades.

  • This paper aims to compare meaning of the seclusion which appeared in Samgukyusa with Kangho-Sijo. There is true meaning of seclusion so that a Bodhisattva implements a spirit. And in Samgukyusa, it has a dialectics logic. There is true meaning of seclusion in order to solve a trouble of a participation-retirement through the moral training. And in Kangho-Sijo, it has a plane-divided logic.

  • OPS(Operating Procedure Synthesis) systems can reduce the time and effort involved in OPS, make the analysis more thorough and detailed, and minimize or eliminate human errors. And OPS systems capture the expertise needed to create operating procedures and allow this experience to be used in the new situations. But there are the limitations of the OPS techniques that have been used. So in order to resolve this Problem, in this work we have proposed a new approach to utilize temporal constraints and specific process knowledge in temporal logic and description logic. We have demonstrated its remarkable effectiveness in a boiler plant.

  • 우리나라 ESCO사업은 정부가 직접적이고 적극적으로 지원을 한다는 점에서 ESCO의 기술력이나 자금력을 통한 시장논리에 의해 진행되는 미국, 캐나다와는 차이를 보이고 있다. 덕분에 발전 속도가 무척 빨라진 것은 사실이지만 ESCO의 기본은 기술과 자본이다. 이제 ESCO들은 일방적인 정부의 지원만 바라볼 것이 아니라 기술력을 배양하고 자금력을 확보할 수 있도록 노력해야 할 것이다.

  • This study analyzes a phenomenon observed in the problem-solving process using ICT that field learners prioritize functional and logical fields. The purpose of this study is to anticipate the future direction of education utilizing ICT and to explore what effort is needed to increase balanced ability of utilizing ICT in the area of education. To analyze the patterns of ICT usage in education, students were asked to solve the problems including functional and logical requests by using the program of framing document. That results were marked in accordance with standards framed in both functional and logical fields. As a result, students utilized the ICT functional field more than logical one. Therefore, we confirm learning through ICT is more effective on functional sides than on logical sides. We also confirm the excellency of ICT's functional sides in such variables as major, grade, computer capability and qualification, etc.
