보안성과 편리성이 향상된 노크코드 기반 인증 기법 (An Improved Knock Code-Based Authentication Scheme)

  • 스마트폰에 저장되는 개인정보가 늘어나면서 이를 보호하기 위한 여러가지 인증기법이 제안되었다. 이중 안드로이드 OS에 탑재된 패턴락은 가장 많이 사용되는 인증기법 중 하나이지만 Smudge 공격과 Shoulder surfing 공격에 취약하다고 알려져 있다. LG 전자는 패턴락에 비해 보안성, 편리성이 뛰어난 노크코드라는 기법을 고안하였다. 노크코드는 꺼진 화면에 사용자가 정한 영역을 순서대로 '터치'함으로써 인증을 완료한다. 본 논문에서는 '터치'만을 사용하는 기존 노크코드 기법에 '슬라이드'를 입력으로 추가할 수 있도록 변형시킨 기법 두 가지를 제안하였다. 분석 결과, 기존 기법에 비해 패스워드의 길이가 n(6~8)으로 같을 경우 패스워드의 개수가 $4^n$배까지 증가했음을 정량적으로 보였고 슬라이드 입력을 이용해 Smudge를 직접적으로 제거함으로써 Smudge 공격에 대한 저항력을 높일 수 있음을 보였다.

콘크리트 재료의 인장변형 모니터링을 위한 메카노크로믹 센서의 활용 가능성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Applicability of Mechanochromic Sensors for Monitoring Tensile Strain of Concrete Materials)

  • 본 연구에서는 메카노크로믹 센서의 건설 구조물 건전도 모니터링 활용 가능성을 검토하기 위한 기초 단계의 실험적 연구를 진행하였다. 콘크리트 재료의 마감 유형에 따른 메카노크로믹 센서의 변형 및 변색 특성을 파악하였다. 그결과, 콘크리트 시험체의 인장변형률이 증가할수록 메카노크로믹 센서의 변형 및 변색 반응도가 증가하는 것을 확인하였다. 또한, 콘크리트, 우레탄, 에폭시, 수성페인트 및 유성페인트의 마감 환경의 차이는 메카노크로믹 센서의 변형 및 변색 특성에 영향을 미치지 않았다.

  • A new method of knock detection in SI engines, using a change of ion concentration in the combustion chamber, was developed. In order to measure in-cylinder ionization current, ionization probes were installed at spark plug and cylinder head of production engine. It was found that the electric current generated by ionized gas in core burned gas region of knocking cycle is between 2 and 10 times larger than that of normal cycle, because the burned gas temperature which is the dominant parameter of a change of ion concentration increases. However, a change of ionization current in boundary region of burned gas is relatively weak. Hence a change of ion concentration in core burned gas region can be used for knock detection.

  • Knock and misfire, kinds of abnormal combustion, are highly undesirable effect on the internal combustion engine. So, it is important to detect these avnormal combuition and control the ignition timing etc. to avoid these mal-effect factors in real engine system. In this study, the system which detects the knock and the misfire using by spark plug is presented. This system is based on the effect of modulation breakdown voltage(BDV) between the spark gaps. The voltage drop between spark plug electrodes, when an electrical breakdown is initiated, depends on the temperature and pressure in combustion chamber. So, we can detect knock and misfire that produce changes in gas temperature and pressure (consequently, its density) using by BDV signal change which carries information about the character of combustion.

대형 LPG 엔진의 노크 특성에 관한 연구 (The Study on Knock Characteristics of Heavy Duty LPG Engine)

  • LPG has been well known as a clean alternative fuel for vehicles. Recently, several LPG engines for heavy duty vehicles have been developed, which can replace some diesel engines that are one of the main sources for air pollution in the urban area. Because cylinder bore of heavy duty LPG engine is larger than that of gasoline, the study of knock characteristics of LPG engine are needed. In this study, the knock characteristics were investigated with various engine speed, air excess ratios and LPG fuel compositions. Experimental results indicated that the Knock occurrence probability decreases with increasing engine speed and propane fraction of fuel. The Knock occurrence probability is highest at excess air ratio of 1 and decreases as the mixture strength became leaner.

대형 수소-천연가스 기관의 수소첨가율에 따른 노크발생 한계압축비 (The Limit Compression Ratio of Knock Occurring by $R_{dH2}$ in the Heavy Duty Hydrogen-CNG Fueled Engine)

  • A heavy duty hydrogen-natural gas fueled engine can obtain stable operation at ultra lean conditions and reduce emissions extremely. Reduction of $CO_2$ in its engine is one of the most benefit. In this study, rate of hydrogen addition($R_{dH2}$) and compression ratio($\varepsilon$) were investigated including performance of this engine. As results, it was found that phenomenon of pressure oscillation when increasing $R_{dH2}$ and $\varepsilon$, it means occurring knock. It consider that pressure oscillation was increased due to fast burning speed of hydrogen. Even if same compression ratio, pressure oscillation was remarkable increased according to increasing $R_{dH2}$. Therefore, limit compression ratio of knock occurring was reduced by increasing $R_{dH2}$.

노크이론 확립을 위한 말단가스 온도 및 압력 경과이력 (A study on the development of temperature and pressure at the end-gas zone during the combustion period to establish the knock theory)

  • Present-day there are two of theories which have considerable scientific support to explain the knock phenomenon in S.I. engine, the detonation theory and the autoignition theory. But they still have some problems to explain effects of knock parameters, i.e.. compression ratio, spark timing, mixture quality, engine speed, ect, on knocking process in S.I. engine. Accordingly, it is essential to find out whish is more adequate theory of two and to develop the method of analyzing knock phenomenon, that is the aim of this paper. The Authors develop the method of predicting transient temperature and pressure at the end-gas zone during the combustion period and analyze knocking process by this method based on the knock theories. The caluculated values based on the autoignition theory show reasonablly correct relations between knock parameters and knock process but there is no evidence of knock occurred by detonation theory through the calculation according to the all parameters. The authors find out that the autoignition theory is more adequate than detonation theory to analyze knocking process in S.I. engine.
