An Optimal Route Algorithm for Automated Vehicle in Monitoring Road Infrastructure (도로 인프라 모니터링을 위한 자율주행 차량 최적경로 알고리즘)

  • The purpose of this paper is to devise an optimal route allocation algorithm for automated vehicle(AV) in monitoring quality of road infrastructure to support the road safety. The tasks of an AV in this paper include visiting node-links at least once during its operation and checking status of road infrastructure, and coming back to its depot.. In selecting optimal route, its priority goal is visiting the node-links with higher risks while reducing costs caused by operation. To deal with the problem, authors devised reward maximizing algorithm for AVs. To check its validity, the authors developed simple toy network that mimic node-link networks and assigned costs and rewards for each node-link. With the toy network, the reward maximizing algorithm worked well as it visited the node-link with higher risks earlier then chinese postman route algorithm (Eiselt, Gendreau, Laporte, 1995). For further research, the reward maximizing algorithm should be tested its validity in a more complex network that mimic the real-life.

  • This paper proposes to analyze a security level about information property systems. This method uses objective and quantitative risk level assessment. The method analyzes administrative, physical and technical aspects of information property system commonly. This method also uses administrative, physical and technical weights. Individually according to requirements security assessment purpose. And it shows risks weighting mean and importance of information property by graph. The most right and up systems in maps is prior to other systems. Also, Quantitative analysis presents more objective and efficient results for security level assessment of information system.

Risks and Network Effect upon Cloud ERP Investments: Real Options Approach (위험 및 네트워크 효과가 클라우드 ERP 투자에 미치는 효과에 대한 연구)

  • We propose network effects upon the investment decision of cloud-based ERP. Using the survey data collected from 82 companies in 2015, we examine whether IT managers have an intention to adopt real options in order to manage the risk of cloud-based ERP investments and how the network effects influence upon the intention to adopt real options. Based on prior literature, we propose a research model with 4 hypotheses. We find partial support of the hypotheses from the empirical analysis: technological risks has a positive impact upon the adoption of real options such as defer, contract, and abandon. In contrast, we find no significant impact of security risks upon real options. We validate positive network effects upon the adoption of real options such as defer, contract, and abandon. This work empirically find that IT managers in Korean middle and small sized firms have an intention to adopt real options when the managers realize economic, technological, and relationship risks and when they expect network effects.

  • 터미널 호스트(Terminal Host)란 사용자가 네트워크를 통하지 않고 직접 사용하고 있는 호스트를 말한다. 사용자가 네트워크를 통해 특정 호스트에 로그인할 경우, 특정 호스트를 지키던 방화벽을 해당 사용자의 터미널 호스트를 인증하는 것이 아니라 해당 사용자가 네트워크을 통해 직접 특정 호스트에 연결시킨 호스트만을 인증하게 된다. 만약 사용자의 터미널 호스트가 보안상 위험에 노출되어 있다면 특정 호스트는 방화벽으로 보호를 하고 있음에도 불구하고 역시 똑같은 위험에 노출되게 되어 보안상의 커다란 위험이 된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 위협을 없애기 위해 통합 방화벽에 적용가능한 효율적인 터미널 호스트 추적 기능을 제안하고, 터미널 호스트 추적 기능을 갖춘 FreeBSD기반의 통합 방화벽의 설계 및 구현 내용을 기술한다.

  • 기업 활동에서 인터넷과 정보통신 시스템에 대한 의존도가 점차 심화됨에 따라 보안사고의 발생시 기업이 감당해야 할 사업적 위험도 함께 증대하고 있다. 따라서 최근 다양한 사이버 공격의 징후를 조기에 감지하고 대응함으로써 피해범위를 최소화할 수 있는 조기경보 체계의 구축에 많은 기업들이 관심을 갖기 시작했다. 하지만 조기경보 체계의 구축과 운용을 위해서는 비용과 기술적인 장애를 극복해야 한다. 본 논문은 대부분의 기업들이 네트워크에서 실시간 위협탐지를 위해 사용하는 네트워크 침입탐지 시스템(N-IDS)과 정기적인 보안감사용으로 주로 운영하는 취약점분석 시스템(VAS)을 이용하여 경제적이고, 효과적으로 사이버 공격의 징후를 신속하게 파악할 수 있는 조기경보 시스템의 설계방법을 제시하였다.

  • The purpose of this paper is to review the direction of the slicing security policy, which is a major consideration in the context of standardization in 5G communication network security, to derive security vulnerability diagnosis items, and to present about analyzing and presenting the issues of discussion for 5G communication network virtualization. As for the research method, the direction of virtualization security policy of 5G communication network of ENISA (European Union Agency for Cybersecurity), a European core security research institute, and research contents such as virtualization security policy and vulnerability analysis of 5G communication network from related journals were used for analysis. In the research result of this paper, the security structure in virtualization security of 5G communication network is arranged, and security threats and risk management factors are derived. In addition, vulnerability diagnosis items were derived for each security service in the risk management area. The contribution of this study is to summarize the security threat items in 5G communication network virtualization security that is still being discussed, to be able to gain insights of the direction of European 5G communication network cybersecurity, and to derive vulnerabilities diagnosis items to be considered for virtualization security of 5G communication network. In addition, the results of this study can be used as basic data to develop vulnerability diagnosis items for virtualization security of domestic 5G communication networks. In the future, it is necessary to study the detailed diagnosis process for the vulnerability diagnosis items of 5G communication network virtualization security.

Analysis of the Impact Relationship for Risk Factors on Big Data Projects Using SNA (SNA를 활용한 빅데이터 프로젝트의 위험요인 영향 관계 분석)

  • In order to increase the probability of success in big data projects, quantified techniques are required to analyze the root cause of risks from complex causes and establish optimal countermeasures. To this end, this study measures risk factors and relationships through SNA analysis and presents a way to respond to risks based on them. In other words, it derives a dependency network matrix by utilizing the results of correlation analysis between risk groups in the big data projects presented in the preliminary study and performs SNA analysis. In order to derive the dependency network matrix, partial correlation is obtained from the correlation between the risk nodes, and activity dependencies are derived by node by calculating the correlation influence and correlation dependency, thereby producing the causal relationship between the risk nodes and the degree of influence between all nodes in correlation. Recognizing the root cause of risks from networks between risk factors derived through SNA between risk factors enables more optimized and efficient risk management. This study is the first to apply SNA analysis techniques in relation to risk management response, and the results of this study are significant in that it not only optimizes the sequence of risk management for major risks in relation to risk management in IT projects but also presents a new risk analysis technique for risk control.

  • It is important to assess vulnerability of network and information system to countermeasure against a variety of attack in effective and efficient way. But vulnerability and risk assessment methodology for network and information systems could not be directly applied to sensor networks because sensor networks have different properties compared to traditional network and information system. This paper proposes a vulnerability assessment framework for cluster based sensor networks. The vulnerability assessment for sensor networks is presented. Finally, the case study in cluster based sensor networks is described to show possibility of the framework.

  • The need for recognition of partially occluded objects is increasing in the area of computer vision applications. Occlusion causes significant problems in identifying and locating an object. In this paper, an annealed Hopfield network (AHN) is proposed for detecting threat objects in passengers' check-in baggage. AHN is a deterministic approximation that is based on the hybrid Hopfield network (HHN) and annealing theory. AHN uses boundary features composed of boundary points and corner points which are extracted from input images of threat objects. The critical temperature also is examined to reduce the run time of AHN. Extensive computational experiments have been conducted to compare the performance of the AHNwith that of the HHN.

A Research for the Realness of Game Risks based on ANT (ANT를 통한 게임 위험의 실재성에 대한 연구)

  • The risk is subjectively perceived by the subject to judge. In the case of the game, game organizations and watchdog groups also recognized differently occurrence probability and intensity of risk to form a physical relationships of the game with each. Thus, we look only at the risk of their own subjective opinion, the fundamental solution is not possible. In this paper, we conducted a study on the form, occurrence point, and generating processes of risk by analyzing the physical components that make up the network of the game based on ATN in order to confirm definitely the substance and the presence of the game risk. In view of ANT, the game and humans constitute a network through their ability to act as each actor. If the gamer does not clearly recognize the nature of the ability to act of the game, the reverse control and the excess flow occur through remediation properties of the game. Therefore, it requires a more in-depth study in the future with respect to complex structure and relationships of the game-gamer network.
