In the city, the urban park contributes to the quality of citizen life in many ways, and the importance of the urban park as an urban planning facility is growing each day. In this study, evaluation of park service supply adequacy in Suwon-si, the difference in analysis methods, and the type of land use at urban park catchment area analysis were analyzed. As a result, there were remarkable differences between the two analysis methods. In Suwon-si, the catchment area by network analysis was only about 41% of catchment area by buffer analysis. However, when basic local authorities establish planning of parks and green areas, they use buffer analysis to calculate the park service area. It means that such calculations of urban park service areas may be wider than actually used. Also, because there were differences between urban park catchment areas by land use types, guidelines of planning parks and green areas will be adjusted. Although quantitative expansion of the park area is also important for the realization of green welfare, it is necessary to consider city characteristics such as the population size, population density, land use types, and so on.

The development of science and transportation technology leads to the increase of inter - city networks that play an important role in urban growth. Overall, numerous studies based on network theory pay attention to positive effects of urban network on urban growth. However, some studies have pointed out the negative effects of inter-city interactions such as straw effects. This implies that the network between cities may not be positively correlated with urban growth, and that the direction of the influence may vary from a certain threshold, such as the marginal utility curve. In this context, the purpose of this study is to measure the impacts of network with central city on urban growth in the capital region and examine the relationship between urban network and growth. Two multiple regression models are employed with changes in population and employment as dependent variables. The urban network index and other control variables are used as independent variables. Especially, the urban network indexes are used in quadratic forms to examine non linear relations with urban growth such U-shape or an inverted U-shape. The results show that the relationships between networks with the central city and urban growth are not a simple linear, and the influence can be changed from the critical point.

Continuous subway line expansion over the years in Seoul metropolitan area has contributed to improved accessibility to public transport. Since public transport accessibility has a significant impact on housing decisions, quantitative analysis of correlation between housing prices and public transport accessibility is regarded as one of the most important factors for planning better housing policies. This study defines the reduction of traveling time resulted from the construction of new metro stations despite them not being the closest stations as 'Network Expansion Effect', and seeks to understand how the Network Expansion Effect impacts on housing prices. The study analyzes monthly rent data converted from upfront lump sum deposit, so called Jeonse in Korea, from 2012 to 2018, through 'A Modified Repeat Sales Model.' As a result, the effect of 'Network Expansion' on rental prices in Seoul has stronger during the period of 2017 to 2018 than the base period of 2012 to 2014, which suggests the 'Network Expansion' has a meaningful effect on rent. In addition, in comparison between the most and the least affected group of apartments by 'Network Expansion Effect', the most affected group has more price increase than the least affected group. These findings also indicate that different levels of 'Network Expansion Effect' have various influences on the value of residential real estate properties.

As creative city is increasingly considered as a paradigm of urban development, it was explored that some of major concepts consisting of creative city such as creativity, creative class and creative industry have an implication. Those concepts reveal a diverse meaning rather than universal one in the application depending on regions and countries across the world. This study tried to grasp the meaning of creative city in the northern region of Gyeongbook where the concept itself was not apparently distinctive. The result is that the inherent meaning of creative city was expanded to culture and athletic fields, though it was originated from taking advantage of nature, agricultural products in the region, and cultural and historical based tourism. On the other hand, the role of regional authority was examined to explore how the concept of creative city is realized in practice. There are some differences among the local authorities in the aspect of leadership. network system within the region, and social network with outside.

Intelligent transportation system (ITS) has been introduced to maximize the efficiency of operation and utilization of the urban traffic facilities and promote the safety and convenience of the users. With the expansion of ITS, various traffic big data such as road traffic situation, traffic volume, public transportation operation status, management situation, and public traffic use status have been increased exponentially. In this paper, we derive structural characteristics of urban traffic according to the vehicle flow by using big data network analysis. DSRC (Dedicated Short Range Communications) data is used to construct the traffic network. The results can help to understand the complex urban traffic characteristics more easily and provide basic research data for urban transportation plan such as road congestion resolution plan, road expansion plan, and bus line/interval plan in a city.

A variety of activity happens around the sidewalk in the city. Particularly, a large variety of activity happens in shopping area, but it causes an obstruction of economical revitalization since the pedestrians require time and cost to find what they want. So, this study will develop the path searching method to minimize the economical loss of shoppers by providing the significant path and supporting the walking movement. Firstly, consider existing network expression techniques and approach three points which are physical and environmental factor, the recognition of the pedestrians' space when changing the direction, and the recognition of restriction of vision and accessibility. Try to design the network DB and simulate the algorithm. As a result, it is now possible to do the path searching that considers variety of recognition factors and show the method how to make the path-searching algorithm for pedestrian.

u-City는 첨단 IT 기술을 도시에 적용하여 도시 내에서 발생하는 여러 가지 부작용들을 해결하고 시민들의 복지를 향상 시킬 수 있는 새로운 개념의 도시이다. 또한, u-City는 USN, BCN, IPv6, Wibro 등 네트워크 기술이 복합적으로 적용되어있고 모바일 폰, UMPC, PDA, PC 등 다양한 형태의 정보화 기기들을 통해 새로운 형태의 서비스를 이용할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 정보화 단말이 무선 인프라를 이용하여 u-City 서비스에 접속하기 위한 통합 인증 모델을 제시한다.

To preventand minimize damages from disaters, it is necessary to build a fire detection or a guide system that can gather and organize proper information and that can analyze about disasters. This research aims at suggestion of fire detection and guide system in building on the base of sensor network. To do so, it examines the effects of this suggesting model system based urban disaster management system.
