As interest in "beauty" increases due to the improvement of a high cultural level, job stress and emotional labor caused by nail workers working are gradually increasing, and it is judged that it should be solved in the beauty industry. This study investigated the effect of working stress and emotional labor on turnover intention of nail workers, and the survey tool was a questionnaire for 250 nail industry workers in Daejeon and Chungcheong. The SPSS 21.0 statistical program was used to analyze the collected data, and the research results showed that job stress and emotional labor of nail workers had a statistically significant correlation with turnover intention, indicating that there was a correlation between general job stress and emotional labor. Therefore, it is considered very important for research in this field to analyze the impact of job stress and emotional labor on turnover of nail industry workers and to provide basic data necessary for the development of this field, job satisfaction improvement, and work stress response. In order to establish the nail field as a part of the growing beauty industry, it is expected that there will be better research results if the turnover rate is reduced and compared and analyzed to improve job satisfaction through analysis of the causes of job stress and emotional labor of nail industry workers.

As the nail industry has grown, concerns on damages to natural nails due to nail services and interests on nail products have been increased. This study is on nail convergent strengtheners which reduce damages on natural nails, and especially focused on the use and awareness of nail strengtheners by nail technicians. First, documentary research on previous studies was conducted to define nail services, nail damages, and nail strengtheners. Preliminary survey and main survey was conducted by KSDC on-line survey tool and the result was analyzed by frequency analysis, cross analysis, and correlation analysis by KSDC advanced statistical program. As a result, nail technicians have the high level of awareness on characteristics, effects, how to use, and application process of nail strengtheners. Nail technicians are the mid level of awareness on the ingredients of nail strengtheners.

1990년 증강현실이라는 용어가 처음 사용된 후 2000년대 중반까지는 연구개발 및 시험적용단계에 머물러 있었으나, 최근 카메라와 그래픽 처리 능력을 높인 단말기, 충분한 속도의 무선통신, GPS 등의 기능을 갖춘 스마트 폰이 등장하면서 실용화 단계에 진입을 하였다. 국내 네일 산업은 2008년 시장규모 4830억 원으로 매년 고속 성장을 하고 있으며 일본의 경우 2010년도에 약2015억 엔으로 2009년도의 약1971억 엔에 비교하여 2.2% 증가하였다. 이처럼 시장의 규모는 매년 커지고 다양해지면서 여러 번의 시행착오를 거쳐야 마음에 드는 네일 케어를 받을 수 있기 때문에 상당히 힘들고 번거롭다. 그래서 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 시대를 맞이하여 증강현실을 이용한 네일 샵 적용 방안을 연구하였다. 증강현실 기술을 이용하면 색을 칠하기 전 색이 자신의 손에 맞는지를 알아볼 수 있고 예상되는 결과를 알아 볼 수 있어서 다양해진 소비자들의 니즈를 충족시켜 줄 뿐만 아니라 네일 케어를 받기 전 시행착오를 겪는 소비자들에게 도움을 줄 것이다. 따라서 본 논문에서 제시한 증강현실을 이용한 네일 샵 적용은 국내뿐만 아니라 세계적으로 네일 산업분야에 큰 발전을 도래 할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

In addition, as the rapidly growing and digitalized decorative beauty nail industry has become a major industry in the world, it is expressed as a formative beauty art that requires creative and original decorative expression. To treat a kind of nail damage, this study proceeded with gel polish procedure oriented to 19 women in their twenties and thirties, dividing into three experimental groups, such as the A group with non-treatment (n=6), the B group taking Nutritional Convergent supplement (n=6), and the C group simultaneously taking Nutritional Convergent supplement and Nail Convergent Strengthener (n=7), and inquired into the superficial change of nails, changes of thickness, analysis of damage degree and satisfaction rate. The analysis shows that the C group simultaneously applied with dietary supplement and complex nail supplement presented the best result in all areas. As for the morphological changes of the surface of nails measured by the scanning electron microscope, there were definite changes as compared with the B group. According to the result, it is proved that complex dietary supplement helps to improve the thickness and the surface of damaged nails and it is reasoned that a higher effect can be expected when complex nail supplement is simultaneously used.

The beauty industry has evolved into a highly competitive service sector, expanding alongside economic growth. Nail art, in particular, has witnessed a remarkable surge in popularity. To efficiently manage individual time, nail salons have adopted reservation systems. However, the issue of no-shows, where customers fail to keep their appointments, has emerged as a significant societal and economic concern. This study seeks to identify and address the root causes of no-shows in nail salons, providing essential data for the industry. A comprehensive survey was conducted, involving 476 customers from nail salons in the Daejeon and Chungcheong regions. Survey responses were analyzed using SPSS 24.0 software. Results revealed that a change of mind was the primary reason for no-shows. This underscores the importance of promoting reservation awareness among both businesses and consumers. To mitigate no-shows, suggestions included implementing non-refundable reservation deposits and imposing cancellation fees. Notably, the beauty industry currently lacks systematic regulations concerning no-shows, highlighting the necessity for future research aimed at developing reservation-related guidelines and standards.

The aesthetic value of Korea is rising in various fields through the use of designs using Korean materials. Korean materials contain oriental ideas and are widely used as materials for design development due to the uniqueness of its form. The purpose of this study is to present basic data of nail art design differentiated nail art designs required at the nail art industry site by producing nail works using Korean materials. Accordingly, We proceeded on the basis of theoretical consideration and empirical research for the development of nail art design, a field of beauty in this study, and made a Korean and unique nail art design work using the Four Gracious Plants. For this purpose, we considered theoretically the characteristics of nail art and the Gracious Plants, and made nail art design works derived from empirical research. The work was analyzed by color, texture, and design elements of form. Therefore, the mixed method of Nail Art and the Gracious Plants, which is the core of this study, is considered to be meaningful in laying the foundation for creative nail art design development.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the actual conditions of students before and after acquiring national technical qualifications for nail cosmetologists, and to provide basic data for building systematic data according to students' competency and effective educational methods for acquiring qualifications. The statistical package program SPSS v 18.0 was used for the trend of acquiring national technical qualifications for nail cosmetologists among each variable according to careers in the nail beauty industry for nail beauty students residing in Gwangju. As a result of using the statistical package program SPSS v 18.0, the analysis showed that the proportion of women (80.8%), single (70.8%), 20s (47.7%), college or university graduates (26.2%), and students (42.3%) was high. In addition, as a result of cross-analysis of the period and cost according to gender for obtaining the national technical license of the nail beautician, it was concluded that the Pearson chi-square significant probability (p) was .416 and .899, respectively, and there was a difference between men and women. The field experience of the nail beauty industry was found to have a significant positive (+) effect on the training period, course cost, educational institution, and exam experience (p <.001) for obtaining a certificate. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to promote the development of nail beauty marketing and to present a constructive vision of the nail beauty industry to be pursued in the future.

일샵 종사자들의 1) 공기 중 화학물질에 대한 노출정도를 파악하고 2) 공기 중 미량으로 존재하는 아세톤 및 톨루엔과 요 중 아세톤 및 마뇨산과의 연관성을 분석하여 후자들이 아직도 생물학적인 지표로 유용한지를 알아보고자 본 연구를 실시하였다. 경인 지역소재 9개의 네일숍에 근무하는 20명의 종사자들을 노출군으로 선정하였으며 이 작업과 무관한 일반 여성 20명을 대조군 선정하였다. 작업장 공기는 한 네일숍에 3개씩 총 27개의 시료를 가능한 한 작업자의 호흡영역에서 가장 가까운 곳에서 지역시료로 채취하였다. 공기 중 유기증기 13개 물질, 포름알데히드, 요 중 아세톤, 요 중 마뇨산을 가스크로마토그래프, 자외선분광광도계 그리고 GC/MS를 이용하여 분석하였다. 유기증기 13개 물질 중 아세톤과 톨루엔은 모든 네일샵에서 검출되었다. 각 네일샵 공기 중 유기증기의 노출정도를 기하평균(GM)과 복합물질간 상가작용을 이용하여 평가를 하였을 때 노동부 노출기준의 10%, ACGIH의 13% 수준에 불과하여 네일샵 종사자들의 유기증기에 대한 직업적인 노출정도는 매우 낮은 것으로 판단되었다. 요 중 아세톤과 마뇨산은 공기 중 아세톤과 툴루엔과 약한 상관성을 보였다(아세톤의 상관 계수 r=0.49, 톨루엔의 상관계수 r=0.45). 그러나 요 중 아세톤의 농도가 노출군과 대조군 간에 통계적으로 유의하지 않았으며 마뇨산은 대조군에 비해 노출군에서 약간 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 저자들은 공기 중 아세톤과 톨루엔의 농도가 낮은 작업장에서 요 중 아세톤과 마뇨산을 생물학적 지표로 삼는 것은 적절하지 못한 것으로 결론지었다.

As the number of students participating in nail art with great interest rises, it has become crucial to form instructor-student ties through offline interactions and establish relationships with education through media under the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Therefore, it would be very important to check the quality of online and offline services and examine customer satisfaction. For this, this study investigated current online and offline nail art education, service quality and satisfaction with the education. A questionnaire survey was performed a total of 319 men and women in their 10-50s or older from Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, Chungbuk and other regions. The collected data were analyzed, using SPSS 27.0, and the results found the followings. The above results confirm that perception of online and offline nail art education is correlated with service quality and satisfaction. However, there are limitations in generalizing the results due to a difficulty in accurate measurement. It is anticipated that if a subject area is expanded, and teachers' satisfaction is added for comparison and analysis, there would be better results.
