The Effect on the IS Psychological Empowerment on the Mitigation of IS Policy Resistance Through IS Role Stress: Focusing on the Moderation of IS Justice Climate (정보보안 심리적 권한이 업무 스트레스를 통해 정책 저항 완화에 미치는 영향: 공정성 분위기의 조절 효과)

  • An insider's information security incidents continue to occur, there is a growing demand for strengthening information security within the organization. However, when strict information security policies and rules are applied to employees of the organization, it can result as an information security stress and resistance behavior. The purpose of this study is to suggest the causes of insiders' negative information security behavior and factors that mitigate the cause. In particular, the study identifies how the mutual influence of individual (psychological empowerment) and organizational (justice climate) factors mitigates negative behavior. In this study, a sample was obtained by surveying workers of organizations that reflect information security policies to insiders, and hypothesis testing was performed by structural equation modeling. As a result of the analysis, role stress had a partial mediating effect on the effect of psychological empowerment on security policy resistance, and the justice climate strengthened the effect of psychological empowerment. Our results suggest a direction for reducing insider information security policy resistance, so it helps to establish a strategy for achieving internal information security goals.

Identifying Antecedents of Service Innovation: Based on Service-Dominant Logic and Resource-Advantage Theory (서비스 혁신의 선행요인에 관한 연구: 서비스 지배적 논리와 자원 우위 이론을 중심으로)

  • Service innovation is one means of gaining an advantage in a highly competitive environment. Although numerous studies have stressed the importance of service innovation, traditional good-dominant logic is still used in service innovation literature. Furthermore, few studies have been conducted on the link between service innovation and its antecedents in terms of service-oriented approach. To fill the gap, this article theoretically and empirically examines service innovation and its antecedents and consequences. Based on service-dominant logic and resource advantage theory, the current study aims to understand the effect of antecedents on service innovation as well as to identify the effect of service innovation on firm performance (i.e., non-financial and financial performance). Three service innovation activities, namely service creation-focused innovation, service delivery-focused innovation, and customer interaction-focused innovation, and four antecedents of service innovation, including human resource management capability, collaboration capability, marketing capability, and information technology capability, are identified based on Den Hertog (2000)'s service innovation framework. By using the empirical data collected from 189 service firms in Korea, this study explores the causal relationship among antecedents, service innovation and firm performance. Findings indicate that human resource management and marketing capabilities influence the three types of service innovation, whereas collaboration and information technology capabilities have a significant effect on both service creation-focused innovation and service delivery-focused innovation. In particular, human resource management capability is strongly related to customer interaction-focused innovation. The three types of service innovation have a positive influence on non-financial performance, whereas service delivery-focused innovation and customer interaction-focused innovation positively influence financial performance. These results support the crucial effects of antecedents, such as human resource management, collaboration, marketing and information technology capabilities, on service innovation.

Analyzing the Technical Efficiency of Korean System Integration Firms (자료포괄분석을 이용한 국내 SI회사의 효율성 분석)

  • 본 논문은 자료포괄분석(Data Envelopment Analysis, DEA)을 이용하여 국내 SI회사를 대상으로 효율성을 측정하고 효율성의 연도별 추세를 분석하여 개별기업 및 산업차원에서 변화의 방향을 파악하였다. 기업집단의 소속여부에 따른 비효율성의 차이와 효율성에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인에 관해 실증적으로 분석하였다. 평균적으로 국내 SI회사의 기술적 효율성은 약간 하락하고 있으며, TE 및 PTE의 표준편차와 최대값-최소값의 범위는 상당히 증가하고 있어 양극화가 심화되고 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 기업집단 소속인 기업과 그렇지 않은 기업의 효율성을 분석한 결과 그 차이는 통계적으로 유의함을 검증하였다. 한편, 효율성에 영향을 미치는 각종 요인과 TE 및 PTE 간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 내부매출비중, 정보생산성, 인당매출, EBITDA율, 부가가치율, 투하자본 수익률(ROIC) 등과 TE 및 PTE 간에 모두 강한 상관계수를 보이고 있다. 이와 같은 효율성의 분석을 통해 SI산업의 지속 가능한 경쟁력을 확보하고 개별 기업의 효율성을 향상하기 위한 전략적 벤치마킹과 정책적 의사결정에 기여할 수 있다.

Determinants.influencing Consumer Perceptions of Web Site Trust and Outcomes (웹사이트 신뢰에 대한 소비자 지각과 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구)

  • Unlike the traditional bricks-and-mortar marketplace, the online environment includes several distinct factors that influence Web site trust. As consumers become more savvy about the Internet, the author contends they will insist on doing business with web companies they trust. This study examines 1) how Web site trust is affected by the following web purchase-related factors: security, privacy, brand name, word-of-mouth, good online experience, and quality of information, and 2) how it influences outcomes. Unlike Urban and colleagues' study (2000), the author argues that not all e-trust bUilding programs guarantee success in building Web site trust. In addition to the mechanism depending on a program, building e-brand trust requires a systematic relationship between a consumer and a particular web site. The findings show that Web site trust does not build one or two components but are established by the interrelationships of complex components. By carefully investigating these variables in formulating marketing strategies, marketers can cultivate brand loyalty and gain a formidable competitive edge.

  • Despite recent changes in life style, the content called bookstore has steadily stood by our side, changing its shape. In this environment, This manuscript is a quantitatively empirical study that individual innovation affects a combined bookstore's service design factors and the user's intention to word of mouth. Researchers believed that individual innovation would affect a combined bookstore's service design factors. It was also assumed that there would be considerable causality between the combined bookstore's service design factors deduced through prior study. Furthermore, the assumption that these parameters would affect internal variables, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness and satisfaction, word of mouth intentions was presented, and verified using An Integrated Model of Extended Technology Acceptance Model and Post Acceptance Model. Researchers expect that this research will contribute significantly in that it is a developer's approach to the combined bookstore that are seen as major tenants in large retail facilities.

An Analysis of the Factors that Influence the Choice of R&D Collaboration : Evidence from Korean Manufacturing Companies (기업의 연구협력 선택에 미치는 요인분석 : 한국 제조업체를 대상으로)

  • Firms must focus on innovative activities via R&D investment in order to secure competitive advantage and sustainable growth. However, their innovative activities do not always result in successful outcomes and are often obstructed by uncertainty and non-appropriability of technology being developed and by insufficient internal resources and capabilities to tap into it. In this situation, collaboration with external partners can be a part of good alternative strategy to solve those problems. This paper aims to analyze what factors lead to Korean manufacturing companies’ decision to collaborate with external partners for technology innovation. For empirical analysis, we used the Korean Innovation Data compiled by STEPI, government-funded research institute in Korea. The research findings are: 1) firms tend to participate in external collaboration for product innovation with greater firm size, more past collaboration experiences and when they belong to high-tech industries 2) unlike our expectation, our chosen ‘innovation-impeding’ factors are found not to contribute to the enhancement of collaboration for product innovation.

A Study on Structural Relationships between Information Service Quality and Performance (정보서비스 품질과 성과의 구조적 관계에 관한 연구: 아웃바운드 고객센터의 캠페인관리시스템을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of information service quality on user satisfaction and individual performance in Outbound Callcenter. A survey was conducted and data were collected from 330 respondents of 1 company which adopted CMS. Validity and reliability of the research instrument were tested and research hypotheses were examined using PLS Graph 3.0. As a result of data analysis, 6 out of 8 hypotheses were supported. User satisfaction is significantly influenced by information quality factors such as accuracy, currency, and relevancy. 2) Also, User satisfaction is significantly affected by internal service quality factors such as training support and reward system. 3) Individual performance is significantly influenced by user satisfaction. Implications of these findings are discussed for researchers and practitioners.

A Study on Activation factors of Social Return for Government R&D supported SMEs (정부 R&D 지원 중소기업의 사회 환원 활성화 요인에 대한 연구)

  • In this paper, government R&D supported 310 small and medium enterprises in three main sectors were surveyed and examined the relationship between major factors related to social return using the structural equation model. The main results show that although the level of public awareness of social return and willingness of government R&D supported SMEs are established to some extent, the internal culture and system of SMEs for social return implementation are insufficient, and therefore policy aiming should be placed on establishing internal system of SMEs. In addition, this study suggests that the government policy delivery mechanism should be supplemented to positively increase willingness of SMEs and it is important to pay attention to the growth of SMEs must precede for activation of social return.

  • This paper analysis spatial correlation applying commercial activating factor and categories clusters among have homogeneity in garosu street which are rising commercial issue in residential district. Based on this research we can draw several implications. Firstly, Garosu street are forming unique space around fassion feature like clothes and food and Beverage stores are supporting main functions. secondly, in terms of utilization of semi-public space in individual buildings, main Street are using display goods and put product.Also restaurants and cafes are using public space as terrace seats. These results mean principal road emphasizes displaying and passing but inner road emphasizes taking a break and staying. Third, repetitive action between high rising vacancy and new building cause negative effects city decline and lossing identity. So residents and merchants should cooperate and make communities for sustainable district.

A Study on the Relationship between the Disclosure of the Company's Internal Control System and the Agency Costs -Focused on SSE Listed Companies (기업 내부통제시스템 도입과 기업 대리 비용과의 관계연구 - SSE 상장기업을 중심으로)

  • This study conducted an empirical analysis of SSE-listed companies to verify the effects of evaluation and disclosure of internal control systems on the agency costs management and controlling shareholders. Agency costs can affect the valuation of accounting information as asymmetry of information in the relationship between a company and its stakeholders, or induce financial costs as an adverse selection. If the firm's agency costs are reasonable, the valuation of the company can also move in a relatively positive direction. In this study, the evaluation information of the internal control system was analyzed through sales management ratio and equity ratio as substitute variables to analyze the relationship between management and agent costs of the controlling shareholders. In addition, independent control ratio, capital balance ratio, and company scale were used as control variables, as a result of the analysis, the evaluation information of internal control was found to be related to the agency costs of managers and governance structure. This study can be conducted to positive factors in evaluating the reliability and corporate value of accounting information according to the evaluation of internal control of SSE-listed companies and helps to understand the financial reporting environment.
