A Study on the Analysis of Internal and External Factors of Software Threat Elements (소프트웨어 위협 요소의 내부적·외부적 요인 분석에 관한 연구)

  • When implementing software, there can be side effects that pose a threat to human life. Therefore, it is necessary to measure the impact of software on safety and create alternatives to mitigate and prevent threats. To conduct a software safety assessment to measure the impact of threat factors, the following components are necessary. This paper aims to classify the threat factors of software into internal and external factors and quantitatively demonstrate the impact of these threat factors.

  • The automobile industry has been rapidly developing and the manufacturers in Korea as well as auto makers in other advanced countries are putting every ounce of their energies in securing their competitive edges in technology and in marketing. To that purpose, each company focuses on (i) reducing costs and (ii) improving productivity. We believe that the improved productivity can be capitalized by a set of various factors including improved organization-internal environment and employees' job satisfaction. The present research aims to identify how the internal elements contribute and lead to improved productivity. The present paper is a report of an empirical survey performed to 161 employees working in small and medium-sized firms in the automobile industry. After testing reliability and validity of the collected data, we have performed structural equation analysis using Amos of SPSS and tested a set of research hypotheses and models. The reported results will clarify the factors that influence productivity and job satisfaction and also shed light on the directions for strategic polices to keep up with the ever changing climate of the industry.

  • The main scope of this study is to define such system of space composition factor to diversify the interior space of the apartment housing. Staring from the space analysis, identification of the design factors, characters of the anthropometry for the dwelling behavior, and analyzed dimensions of the interior furniture from the market data have uniformly integrated to engage with such system for innovation and diversification of the space design method. The elements of the composition factors are as follows: 1. Finished material elements - $\circled1$Structural material $\circled2$Doub1e shell $\circled3$Color & Tone $\circled4$Lighting system For the design system selected space in restricted in 3way directional axis X,Y,Z to form its volume and direction of the space composition factors. X-axis is stands for horizontal length of the factor, Y-axis is for the space depth, and lastly, Z-axis is for the hieghts of the space based on anthropometris.

Investigation on backscatter According to Changed in Components of Linear Accelerator Using Monte Carlo Simulation (몬테카를로 시뮬레이션을 이용한 선형가속기 구성요소 변화에 따른 후방산란에 관한 연구)

  • It should be accurate dose calculation to increase the efficiency of radiation therapy, and it is priority to figure out the beam characteristics for this purpose. The target and primary collimator in head components of the linear accelerator have the greatest influence on determining the beam characteristics which is caused by backscatter and it is the factor to consider the shielding structures and equipment management. In this study, we made modeling of the linear accelerator through the Geant4 Monte Carlo simulation and investigated backscatter according to the change of the size and shape in head components. For the scattered electrons, it showed the greatest number of distributions inside of the inner radius at primary collimator. But, for the scattered photons which have the high energy, it was mostly located outside of the inner radius at primary collimator. Scattered positrons showed a small occurrence in about 0.03%. According to the change of the inner radius at primary collimator, it was great changes in the inside of inner radius for all three scattered particles. According to the change of the outer radius at primary collimator, it was shown some considerable effects from more than 60 mm outer radius. It was no significant effect according to the change of target thickness. In this study, we found that backscatter should be considered, and figured out that geometric size and shape of the peripheral components are the factors that influences the backscatter effect.

The Study on the Interior Spatial Characteristics of Korean Single-Family Houses which were Designed by Architect (우리나라 단독주택 내부의 평면적 구성방식과 입체적 구성방식에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to analyze interior spatial characteristics of Korean single-family house which were designed by architects. For that purpose, plans, pictures and data of Korean single-family 113 houses which appeared in architectural publications from 1998.7 to 2002.6. were collected. The results of this study are the followings; 1) the ratio of southern-facing is higher in living room and master bedroom than in dining room and kitchen; 2) spatial elements of master bedroom are bedroom, bathroom and dressroom, those of dining room and kitchen are dining room, kitchen and multipurpose room and those of family bathroom are bathroom and restroom; 3) the living room does not located in the center of the plan; 4) the ratio of exterior door is higher in kitchen and master bedroom than in dinning room and living room; 5) stairs located in hall, corridor, livingroom etc., 6) there are void spaces in about half of houses which were collected.

Analysis on the Temperature of Multi-core Processors according to Placement of Functional Units and L2 Cache (코어 내부 구성요소와 L2 캐쉬의 배치 관계에 따른 멀티코어 프로세서의 온도 분석)

  • As cores in multi-core processors are integrated in a single chip, power density increased considerably, resulting in high temperature. For this reason, many research groups have focused on the techniques to solve thermal problems. In general, the approaches using mechanical cooling system or DTM(Dynamic Thermal Management) have been used to reduce the temperature in the microprocessors. However, existing approaches cannot solve thermal problems due to high cost and performance degradation. However, floorplan scheme does not require extra cooling cost and performance degradation. In this paper, we propose the diverse floorplan schemes in order to alleviate the thermal problem caused by the hottest unit in multi-core processors. Simulation results show that the peak temperature can be reduced efficiently when the hottest unit is located near to L2 cache. Compared to baseline floorplan, the peak temperature of core-central and core-edge are decreased by $8.04^{\circ}C$, $8.05^{\circ}C$ on average, respectively.

  • Sigma-delta converter is frequently used for conyerting low-frequency anglog to digital signal. The converter consists of a modulator and a digital filer, but our work is concentrated on the modulator. In this works, to design second-order sigma-dalta modulator with 14bit resolution, we define maximumerror limits of each components (operational smplifier, integrator, internal ADC, and DAC) of modulator. It is first performed modeling of an ideal second-order sigma-delta modulator. This is then modified by adding the non-ideal factors such as limit of op-amp output swing, the finit DC gain of op-amp slew rate, the integrator gian error by the capacitor mismatch, the ADC error by the cmparator offset and the mismatch of resistor string, and the non-linear of DAC. From this modeling, as it is determined the specification of each devices requeired in design and the fabrication error limits, we can see the final performance of modulator.

  • 최근 금융기관이 직면한 내외부적 요구로 인해 금융기관은 운영리스크 관리의 선진화를 위한 내부통제체제의 조속한 정립을 요구 받고 있다. 이를 위해서는 내부통제에 대한 정확한 정의와 표준적 구성요소에 대한 파악과 더불어 현재 내부통제체제의 문제점과 개선방안을 도출할 필요성이 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 문제점 및 이에 대한 개선방안을 조직적 측면과 시스템적인 측면으로 분리하여 살펴봄으로써 효과적인 내부통제체제를 바탕으로 선진 운영리스크 관리 시스템 확립에 대한 다각적인 접근을 시도하고자 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 필기 문서 영상을 분석하여 단어 단위로 요소들을 분할하는 방법을 제안한다. 일반적으로 인쇄 문서에 비하여 필기 문서에서는 글자 간 간격이 일정하지 않을 뿐만 아니라 필기자 또는 작성된 언어에 따라 특성이 매우 다르게 나타나기 때문에 단어를 분리하는 것은 어려운 문제로 간주되었고 많은 연구가 진행되었다. 제안하는 방법은 이 문제를 해결하기 위하여 글자 획의 두께를 고려하여 정규화시킨 각 연결 요소간 간격과 간격 안에 존재하는 글자 픽셀의 수로 구성된 2 차원의 특징값을 추출하였다. 이 특징값을 바탕으로, 제안하는 방법은 k-평균 클러스터링을 이용하여 각 텍스트라인을 구성하는 연결 요소간 간격을 단어 사이의 간격과 단어 내부 글자간의 간격으로 분류하였다. ICDAR 2013 Handwriting Segmentation Contest 데이터베이스에 대한 실험 결과 제안하는 방법은 가장 우수한 성능을 나타내었다.

Study on Moisture Variation in Light Frame Wall with Different Wall Assemblies (I) - Evaluation of Improvement with Laboratory Test - (벽체구성에 따른 목조벽체 내 수분변화에 대한 연구(I) - 실내 실험을 통한 개선 가능성 평가 -)

  • The purpose of this study was reducing the moisture accumulation in a wall, which can threaten the structural safety of light-frame wall and make residential environment poor. For the purpose, the laboratory test was carried out with different wall assemblies. Vapor retarder and air gap for ventilation were added to the typical wall. The improved performance of the proposed walls was examined through the test with distinct difference of temperature and relative humidity between outdoor and indoor air conditions. Increased dampproofing performance of additional vapor retarder was effective on reduction of moisture transmission from inside the house into the wall. However, unexpected high relative humidity was shown in the wall with two additional vapor retarder because of excessive dampproofing performance or inadequate location of vapor retarder. And, the open air gap induced the moisture transfer from inside the wall into outdoor air by ventilation. If the alternative to the induction of moisture transmission from inside the house into the wall with open air gap can be found, moisture reduction effect of that will be increased obviously.
