The Analysis of the Learning Elements in 'Curriculum Reconstruction' of Elementary Pre-service Teachers in Connection with 'The Weather and Our Daily Life' ('날씨와 우리 생활'과 연계한 초등예비교사들의 '교육과정 재구성' 학습요소 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the Learning elements in 'Curriculum Reconstruction' of Elementary Pre-service Teachers in Connection with 'The weather and our daily life'. The pre-service teachers who participated in the study formed a research group of 29 students in 2nd grade who are attending the first semester of A university of education and taking courses in 'teaching research 1'. Participants described the learning topics and contents they would like to add to curriculum 'The weather and our daily life'. Each response was analyzed and classified based on scientific terms related to weather or climate. The results of the study were as follows. First, there were three learning topics related to weather, such as water phenomena in the atmosphere, fine dust and yellow dust phenomena, and light or electricity phenomena, and two topics related to climate such as abnormal climate and global warming. Second, interest in the problem of fine dust and yellow dust in the atmosphere was relatively high. Third, the interest in learning in the knowledge area was relatively higher than in the learning in the function or attitude area. Through these research results, it can be confirmed that it is necessary to develop a climate change or climate crisis education program.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate and analyze pre-service teachers' eye-movement in science textbooks in the learning process, whether they perceived "arrow" presented in textbooks, and changes in eye-movement by arrows. For the study, an eye-tracker, a eye-movement tracking device, was used, and 10 pre-service teachers attending a teacher training college were selected and conducted. The science textbook unit used in the research was the "Weather and Our Life" unit, one of the areas of earth science. As a result of the study, first, it was investigated that pre-service teachers devote more time to texts rather than illustrations in the learning process of science textbooks. Second, it was analyzed that pre-service teachers did not pay attention to the "arrow" presented in science textbooks. Third, it was confirmed that in order for "affordance of the eye-movement by arrow" to occur, sufficient concentration on "arrow" should be made. These findings suggest the importance of the learner's visual attention to learning elements in science textbooks such as "arrow". In addition, it suggests the importance of developing a textbook editing design that can induce visual attention to learning elements in textbooks through eye-movement research data for effective learning.

Pre-service Elementary School Teachers' Understanding of the 'Fog' Generation Experiment Presented in the 2009 and 2015 Revision Elementary Science Textbooks (2009 개정 및 2015 개정 초등 과학교과서에 제시된 안개 발생 실험에 대한 초등 예비교사의 이해)

  • This study investigated the understanding of pre-service teachers in relation to the 'fog experiment' in the 5th grade 'Weather and Our Daily Life' unit of the 2009 and 2015 revised elementary school science textbooks. Pre-service teachers who participated in this study were 100 students, who are attending the university of education and taking courses in teaching research. After pre-learning about the 2009 and 2015 revised elementary school science textbooks and guide book, pre-service teachers conducted the experiment in groups. After that, the pre-service teachers individually presented answers to three questions, and the results of analyzing the answers are as follows. First, there were 24 (24%) preservice teachers who explained the difference in fog generation in the 2009 and 2015 revised curriculum with related scientific concepts such as condensation and water vapor, and only 1 (1%) of them explained the difference using the concept of saturation. Second, there were 48 (48%) pre-service teachers who found out the reason for the change in the fog experiment method according to the change in the curriculum. Third, pre-service teachers valued the reproduction and success of experiments rather than the importance of scientific knowledge, and such pre-service teachers suggested the use of alternative experiments or website.

  • 일상생활에서 빈번히 사용되는 주변 생활 제품은 기술의 급속한 발전과 더불어 지능화 정도가 가속화 되고 있는 추세에 있다. 일반적으로 LED 조명이나 실내 에어컨을 자동으로 조정하거나 자동청소로봇 등은 이미 일반화된 제품들이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 우리 생활에서 가장 필요한 용품인 거울에 대한 지능적인 제품은 비교적 고가이어서 소비자가 쉽게 접근하기 어려운 생활용품이 되고 있어서 지능화 제품의 보급이 더딘편이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 Raspberry Pi 3B+ 를 기반으로 하여 음성제어가 가능한 스마트 미러를 설계하고 구현하였다. 이를 위하여 저렴한 raspberry pi의 WiFi를 통해 네트워크에 연결하도록 하여 미러가 시간, 날씨 및 뉴스 정보 기능을 자동으로 업데이트 할 수 있도록 하였고 기상 조건, 사전 시간 또는 음악 재생과 같은 음성 제어가 가능하기 위하도록 Google Asistant 음성 인터페이스를 적용하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 제품이 실용화될 경우 저가이면서 고기능 사양을 제공하고 있어서 스마트 미러 보급에 많은 기여가 예산된다.

The Effects of the Creative Thinking and Creative Personality Using the 'Weather and our life' on Science-Based STEAM (과학 기반 STEAM의 '날씨와 우리생활' 학습이 창의적사고 및 창의적 인성에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of science-based STEAM on creative thinking and creative personality. For this study the 3 grade, 2 class was divided into a research group and a comparative group. The class was pre-tested in order to ensure the same standard. The research group had the science class with science-based STEAM, and the comparative group had the class with teacher centered lectures for 5 months. The science-based STEAM was focused on finding stories in lifes, composition of knowledge, completion of knowledge. The results of this study are as follows. First, science-based STEAM was effective in creative thinking. Second, science-based STEAM was effective in creative personality. Also, after using science-based STEAM was good reaction by students. As a result, the elementary science class with science-based STEAM had the effects of developing creative thinking and creative personality. it means the science class with creative personality has potential possibilities and value to develop creative thinking and creative personality.

What Pre-service Elementary School Teachers Focus on When Developing Assessment Items: Focusing on the Unit 'Weather and Our Lives' (초등 예비교사가 평가 문항 제작 시 주목하는 것은 무엇인가? : 날씨와 우리 생활 단원을 중심으로)

  • Summative assessment provides information on how well students have achieved learning objectives, making the development of high-quality assessment items essential for accurate evaluation. This is one of the competencies that teachers must possess. This study aims to analyze summative assessment items created by pre-service elementary teachers, examining their intentions and the difficulties encountered in the item development process. The study involved 45 second-year students enrolled in an elementary teacher training university. They were grouped into teams of three and tasked with developing ten items, documenting the purpose of each item, the answer key, and the challenges faced during item creation. The collected summative assessment items were analyzed using a two-dimensional purpose classification table that includes Klopfer's taxonomy of educational objectives. The intentions behind the summative assessments and the difficulties faced during item development were inductively organized and analyzed through qualitative data analysis. The results revealed that pre-service elementary teachers adequately reflected scientific content elements but did not evenly cover assessment domains. The most challenging aspect for them was adjusting the difficulty level. Although they considered most factors that should be taken into account during item development, these considerations were not reflected in the actual items. These findings suggest that knowledge and experience are crucial in developing summative assessment items, and systematic lectures are necessary for pre-service elementary teachers.

  • 인터넷의 비약적인 발전으로 우리는 생활에 필요한 많은 것들을 인터넷을 통해 얻는다. 날씨, 뉴스, 만화, 나아가서는 전공 공부까지 많은 정보를 인터넷에서 얻을 수 있다. 또한 이러한 여러 서비스를 제공하고 있는 포털사이트에서는 무료 번역기 또한 무료로 제공하고 있다. 하지만 무료로 제공하는 만큼 번역기의 신뢰도가 높지 않아, 실제 사용함에 있어 실제 번역에 제약이 있기 마련이다. 이러한 점에서 본 논문에서는 수많은 사람들이 작성한 정보를 통해 문맥 속에서 쉽게 틀릴 수 있는 전공 용어의 올바른 해석을 위해 오피니언 마이닝 기법 중 PMI-IR 수식을 이용하여 번역기의 신뢰도를 개선하는 방법을 제안한다.

심혈관질환의 예방 및 영양관리

  • 뇌졸중, 심근경색 등의 심혈관질환은 암과 더불어 우리나라의 주요 사망원인이다. 2002년 통계청이 발표한 2001년 사망원인통계를 보면 인구 10만명 당 암이 123.5명으로 1위, 뇌졸중 등 뇌혈관 질환이 73.8명으로 2위, 심장질환(허혈성 심장질환과 기타 심장질환 포함)이 34.2명으로 3위였다. 이러한 심혈관질환의 예방을 위해서는 평소 뇌혈관질환을 일으킬 수 있는 위험인자들을 잘 관리할 필요가 있다. 사망률이 높은 심혈관질환의 주요 위험요인은 성별, 연령 등 선천적으로 타고나는 고정요인과 흡연, 비만 등 본인의 노력에 따라 생활습관을 바꿔 위험을 낮출 수 있는 변동요인으로 나눌 수 있다. 성별, 연령은 바꿀수 없지만 생활습관은 바꿀 수 있다. 심혈관 질환 예방에 있어서 가장 중요한 것은 기본적인 건강관리 수칙인 금연, 과음하지 않기, 균형있는 올바른 식생활, 규칙적인 운동, 표준체중 유지하기, 정기검진 등이다.특히 심혈관 질환은 채소류와 식물성 단백질, 식물성 지방 등을 위주로 한 식이요법이 도움을 줄 수 있고 튼튼한 혈관을 가지기 위해서 질 좋은 단백질과 비타민ㆍ무기질을 충분히 섭취해야 하며 콜레스테롤의 배설을 돕기 위해 섬유소가 충분한 식사를 한다. 갑자기 추워진 날씨로 생명을 다투는 뇌졸중이나 협심증, 심근경색 등 심혈관 관련 질병이 발생하기 쉬운 겨울철이다. 행사가 많은 연말에 과음을 삼가며 금연하고, 평소 담백한 한식 위주의 식사, 꾸준한 운동 등으로 건강관리에 힘써서 치명적인 심혈관 질환에 미리미리 대비하도록 한다.
