This paper proposes a methodology for automatic hierarchy classification of subtitles in a engineering document by the a fact that heading symbols of subtitles represent a hierarchical structure of the document. The proposed methodology is composed of two methods: extracting subtitles from plan text document and determining hierarchical structure of the subtitles. The subtitles in a document is extracted by comparing heading symbol patterns with predefined heading symbol groups, and the depth levels of the subtitles are determined by analyzing relative location of subtitles according to change of the heading symbol patterns. A prototype module, which can transform a plain text document into a structured XML document in accordance with a hierarchical structure of subtitles, is developed based on the proposed methodology, and the performance of the module is analyzed with 20 engineering documents.

본 연구는 첨단 신호 시스템 알고리즘의 최적해를 구하는 문제를 기호적 시뮬레이션 기법으로 해결하기 위한 방법론을 제시한다. 최근 지능형 교통 시스템의 일환으로 최적화 된 교통신호를 생성하기 위한 신호제어기법들이 많이 개발되었다. 하지만 이러한 신호제어기법은 복잡한 교통환경에서 신호제어 변수간의 다양한 상호작용의 모든 해를 제공할 수 없는 한계를 지닌다. 한편 기호적 시뮬레이션 기법은 발생 가능한 모든 사건과 시간관계를 자동 생성시킴으로써 동적으로 변화하는 다양한 교통환경에 대해서 신호제어 변수간의 모든 시간관계를 추론해 낼 수 있는 장점을 지닌다. 하지만 기호적 시뮬레이션을 이용한 모델링에 있어서 교통량과 같은 양적인 요소들의 기호적 표현에는 어려움이 따른다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 교통량과 같은 양적인 요소들을 시간에 따른 변화량으로 해석하여 첨단 신호 시스템 알고리즘의 최적해를 구하는 문제에 접근한다. 이를 위해 국내 첨단 신호 시스템을 대상으로 신호제어 전략에 필요한 양적 요소를 검토하고, 이러한 양적 요소를 시간에 따른 변화량으로 해석하여 모델링 하고, 기호적 시뮬레이션 실험을 수행하여 최적신호 제어 알고리즘을 생성한다.

The form of web-based MMORTS game has changed the way users recognize games. This paper focuses fact that users' semiosis in MMORTS game shows different aspects from MMORPG game and to analyze it through theory of Charles Sanders Peirce. Users in MMORTS make a semiotic process in a wide range of ways including keeping avatars at a distance, reading index mark, and inferring through symbol marks. It leads to call a user in web-based MMORTS an administrator, symbol interpreter, and strategist.

This paper is to make a generalization of Keyongyegimunrok(經義記聞錄) by Namdang Han Wonjin(1682~1751) whose historical positions of philosophy were contained, and to examine its established periods and the summaries of Ligi-Simseong Doseol(理氣心性圖說, illustrated Account of principle, Vital force, and Heart-mind) given in Appendix of Chap. 6. Total seventeen explanatory diagrams cover over the theory of principle and material force, theory of Heart-mind, theory of cultivation. These explanatory diagrams were produced systematically and easily to understand the pursuits of study, so-called Ho-hak(湖學), since Namdang becoming a member of the Yellow River(黃江) school. The philosophical argumentations of Namdang was usually succeeded by the orthodox stream of Ki-ho(畿湖) School transmitted from Ii, Song Si-yeol, Gwon Sang-ha. Ligi-wollyu-do(理氣源流圖), Ligi-dongjeong-do(理氣動靜圖), irwon-bunsu-do(一原分殊圖, 4 diagrams) are diagrams equivalent to Ki-ho School's ontology. As Ki-ho School's theory of Heart-mind, there are Seongjeong-hoenggan-do(性情橫看圖), Seongjeong-sugan-do(性情竪看圖), Seongjeong-chonghwoi-do(性情總會圖), Oseonghoju-do (五性互主圖), Oseongchubon-do(五性推本圖), Simseongmyohap-do (心性妙合圖), Simseongiji-do(心性二岐圖), Jungyongcheonmyeong-do(中庸天命圖), Insim dosim-do(人心道心圖), focusing on Simtongseongjeong-do(心統性情圖), and last diagram is Wihakjibang-do(爲學之方圖), which adapted from the diagram established by Ii and Song Si-yeol. The significance of Keyongyegimunrok(經義記聞錄) is comprehensive of the pursuits of the Yellow River school's studies, and provides evidence of a leading figure in Ho-hak.

This paper is a study on the concept and methodology of documentation storytelling. After 'use of records' has emerged as a hot topic in the archivologic field, various methodologies are being sought for utilization. Storytelling is one of them. This study defines storytelling as a methodology for the utilization of records as 'documentation storytelling' and conceptualizes it as 'the totality of various discourses generated in the process of realizing the value of records as records'. This study introduces various theories such as archiving, storytelling, semiotics, and linguistics to establish the foundation of the theory of documentation storytelling. Archivology in the digital era ,conceived by the analog era, has the task of systematizing the academic trends of the two eras. One of the tasks is about documentation in the digital age. Documentation storytelling is also a theory required in the digital age. This study defines 'documentation' in the digital age as a variable and practical act, and defines the result of documentation as 'documentation storytelling', that is, 'a semiosis in which the value of records is constantly created'.

The cartoon communicates its messages by cartoon semiotics as a vehicle of emotion, face expression, act, glance, and texts along the story. this style of communication showed in the cartoon can be defined as "Cartoon communication style". Since, the cartoon is cultural and social product, an understanding of "Cartoon communication style" plays a major role in understanding culture and society as well as its production and interchange. To understand what is the "Cartoon communication style", systemic and objective research method through "Cartoon Analysis" is required. The study review cognitive tendency of cartoon expression through semiotic analysis of total 35,225 cuts of Korea, Japanese and Chinese published cartoons and consequently, classifies the cartoons by 3 forms - One-Root, One-Idea and One-Style to encode.

본 논문에서는 노동자문화정치의 관점에서 파업을 새롭게 정의하고, 파업을 비롯한 노동자 문화실천의 정치적 효과를 분석하기 위한 방법론적 요소들을 검토하였다. 여기서 파업은 참여주체들의 다양한 사고와 합리성들을 중심으로 형성되고 확장되는 내재적인 정치의 장인 동시에, 다양한 기표적 실천들이 전개되는 문화정치의 장으로 정의되었다. 파업의 발생과 전개의 각 과정과 국면에 대한 문화정치적 분석 요소로서 장소성, 공간, 시간, 정서, 기호자원, 담론이 고려되었고, 이 요소들에 초점을 두고 민주노조 파업에서 드러나는 문화정치적 제약들을 H사 노조 사례를 통해 검토하였다. 문화정치적 제약들은 노동자 문화의 생산과 수용에서의 제약으로 드러난다. 노동자문화 관련 텍스트들의 분석과 조사 자료를 통해서 볼 때, 그것들은 첫째로 노동자 문화 활동가들의 생산 실천 상의 제약과 관련있고, 둘째로, 노동자 대중의 노동자 문화 수용 혹은 소비에서의 도구성과 시 공간 상의 제약과 관련있는 것을 확인했다. 본 논문은 이러한 제약들이 70년대 이후에서 90년대 전반에 이르는 시기와는 달리, 현 시기 노동운동의 문화적 자원들이 신기술과 사회문화적 변화에 걸맞게 변화 확장되지 못하고 오히려 축소된 데 기인한다고 추론하였다. 따라서 지속적인 운동의 조건과 기반을 능동적으로 조성하기 위해서는, 파업을 비롯한 노동자 문화의 생산과 수용 전반에 걸쳐서 작용하는 재현체계 상의 제약, 특히 기호자원의 한계라는 근본적인 제약을 넘어서기 위한 노동자 문화정치의 필요성이 제안되었으며, 문화실천에 몸담고 있는 문화활동가나 노조활동가들이 파업과 일상 활동 속에서 문화정치적 주제들을 찾아 이론화하고 정책에 반영하는 문화활동 방안이 제안되었다.

Thomas Harriot has been introduced in middle school textbooks as a great mathematician who created the sign of inequality. This study is about Harriot's symbolism and the theory of equation. Harriot made symbols of mathematical concepts and operations and used the algebraic visual representation which were combinations of symbols. He also stated solving equations in numbers, canonical, and by reduction. His epoch-making inventions of algebraic equation using notation of operation and letters are similar to recent mathematical representation. This study which reveals Harriot's contribution to general and structural approach of mathematical solution shows many developments of algebra in 16th and 17th centuries from Viete to Harriot and from Harriot to Descartes.

A recognizable form having meaning is called a sign in semiotics. The sign is transformed into a physical counter form in this work. Its internal structure is restricted on the linguistic concept structure. We borrow the concept of a mathematical function from the utility function of a rational personal in the economy. Universalizing the utility function by introducing the consistency of independency on the manner of construction, we construct the probability. We introduce a random variable for the probability and join it to a position variable. Thus, we propose a physical sign and its serial changes in the forms of stochastic equations. The equations estimate three patterns (jumping, drifting, diffusing) of possible solutions, and we find them in the one-day stock-price flow. The periods of jumping, drifting and diffusing were about 2, 3.5, and 6 minutes for the Kia stock on 11/05/2014. Also, the semiotic sign (icon, index, symbol) can be expected from the equations.
