A Supervised Learning Framework for Physics-based Controllers Using Stochastic Model Predictive Control (확률적 모델예측제어를 이용한 물리기반 제어기 지도 학습 프레임워크)

  • In this paper, we present a simple and fast supervised learning framework based on model predictive control so as to learn motion controllers for a physic-based character to track given example motions. The proposed framework is composed of two components: training data generation and offline learning. Given an example motion, the former component stochastically controls the character motion with an optimal controller while repeatedly updating the controller for tracking the example motion through model predictive control over a time window from the current state of the character to a near future state. The repeated update of the optimal controller and the stochastic control make it possible to effectively explore various states that the character may have while mimicking the example motion and collect useful training data for supervised learning. Once all the training data is generated, the latter component normalizes the data to remove the disparity for magnitude and units inherent in the data and trains an artificial neural network with a simple architecture for a controller. The experimental results for walking and running motions demonstrate how effectively and fast the proposed framework produces physics-based motion controllers.

A Comparison on the Learning Effect of Simulated Nonlinear Data Using a Modified Generic and Backpropagation Algorithm (개선된 유전자 알고리즘과 역전파 신경망 알고리즘을 이용한 비선형 모의자료의 학습비교)

  • 본 논문에서는 개선된 유전자 알고리즘과 역전파 신경망 알고리즘의 특징을 살펴보고, 비선형 모의자료를 이용하여 개선된 유전자 알고리즘 기반의 신경망 학습 효과와 역전파 신경망 알고리즘을 이용한 신경망 학습 효과를 비교해 본다. 유전자 알고리즘을 이용한 신경망 학습에는 개선된 신경망 제어기를 이용한다. 역전파 알고리즘을 이용한 신경망 학습에는 일반화 성능향상을 위한 인자들의 결합효과를 이용한다. 모의실험을 통하여 두 가지의 학습에서 학습 수령의 정도와 학습 속도 등을 비교하는 모의실험 결과를 개선된 유전자 알고리즘과 신경망 알고리즘의 학습 결과와 항께 제시한다. 모의실험의 결과로서 유전자 알고리즘을 적용한 개선된 신경망 제어기를 통한 학습 결과가 일반 신경망 학습 결과보다 초기 가중값을 작은 범위에서 발생시킬 때 수렴 정확도 및 학습 속도에서 좋은 결과를 나타내 주고 있다.

  • PID controller is widely used as automatic equipment for industry. However when a system has various characters of intermittence or continuance, a new parameter decision for accurate control is a bud task. As a method of solving this problem, in this paper, a teaming gain regulator as PID controller functions is presented. A propriety teaming gain of system is decided by a rule of Delta learning. The function of proposed loaming gain regulator is verified by simulation results of DC motor.

  • 기계학습에서 분류는 훈련 예제들로 학습하여 생성한 분류기를 활용하여 새로운 예제에 어느 한 범주를 부여하는 것을 말한다. 일반적으로 분류의 성능 즉 정확도의 향상은 학습 알고리즘을 개선하거나 훈련예제 집합을 변형시킴으로써 가능하다. 본 논문에서 소개하는 가상예제를 이용한 분류기 성능 향상 방안은 후자에 속한다. 실세계 분류문제에서 많은 수의 훈련예제들을 수집하는 일은 대상문제에 따라 비용이 많이 드는 경우가 있다. 또한 적은 수의 훈련예제를 학습해 생성한 분류기는 분류성능이 좋지 않을 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이런 문제를 해결하기 위해서 가상예제를 생성해 훈련예제 집합에 추가하는 방안을 제안하고자 한다. 가상예제를 이용한 분류성능 향상방안이 $Na{\ddot{i}}ve$ Bayes 학습 알고리즘 성능 개선에 효과가 있음을 실험을 통해 확인하였다.

온라인 문자인식기술

  • 편입력 기능을 창작한 시스템의 문자입력 기능에서 사용자들의 다양한 형태의 필기문자를 인식하여 사용자의 만족을 극대화 시킬 수 잇는 고성능의 인식기를 만들기 위해서는 상황과 장소에 따라서 변하는 필기형태를 학습할 수 있는 다이나믹한 인식기 개발이 절대적으로 필요하다고 판단된다. 또한 국제 경쟁력을 갖기 위해서는 사용자의 국적(nationality)에 따라 다양한 자종을 인식할 수 잇는 기능이 있어야 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 다양한 사용자의 요구를 만족시키기 위하여 인식기 설계시 필요한 design issues와 philosophy를 제시하고, 이를 기초로 학습기능, 국제화, 소형화의 특징을 갖는 학습기능 다중언어(multilingual) 인식기 설계 방법을 제안하고자 한다.

  • Introducing algorithm and programming education to the middle school 'Information' curriculum is appropriate to develop higher thinking skills like problem solving ability and creativity that is the most important ability to the people living in the knowledge and information society. But to providing reduced algorithm and programming contents of higher education increase the cognitive burden on the students in the concrete operational period who is not yet reached to the formal operational period, and moreover transfering principles and strategies learned in the algorithm to the programming for the problem solving is difficult. For this study, student's developmental characteristics in the concrete operational period among cognitive developmental periods was considered, and FAAP(First-Algorithm After-Programming) learning model which can transfer algorithm to programming was developed, and finally the effectiveness of learning motivation and achievement to the concrete operational period's students was verified. Results of the tests showed that learning motivation and achievement of the concrete operational period's students that learned FAAP model were different significantly.

Comparative study of the effects in using geofix and cabri 3D on folding nets' activities (전개도 과제에서 지오픽스와 Cabri 3D를 활용한 학습의 효과 비교)

  • The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the effects of physical manipulative and exploratory geometry software on the spatial sense for 5th grade elementary school students in learning nets. For this purpose, ton experimental group used Geofix, an operational learning tool, and the experimental group used Cabri 3D, an exploratory geometry software to learn the nets of solids. The comparison group was learned by worksheet only without any manipulative or software. Spatial sense tests were conducted before and after to determine the level, and eye tracking were used to analyze the strategies of students in solving nets problems. As a result, it was confirmed that the using Geofix group was the most effective for the spatial sense, and Cabri 3D could also be a good tool for learning the nets of solids. In addition, after learning the nets of solids, the analytical strategy, which was the most effective strategy for students' solving strategies, increased. In the process of solving spatial tasks such as the spatial sense tasks, eye tracking technology become a very useful tool for exploring students' strategies, so it is expected that objective and useful data will be collected through more active use in the future.

  • 관계추출기의 학습을 위해서는 많은 학습 데이터가 필요한데, 사람이 모으게 되면 많은 비용이 필요하여 원격 지도 학습을 이용한 데이터 수집이 많은 연구에서 사용되고 있다. 원격 지도 학습은 지식베이스를 기반으로 학습 데이터를 자동으로 만들어 내는 방식이기에 비용이 거의 들지 않지만, 지식베이스의 질과 양에 영향을 받는다. 본 연구는 원격 지도 학습을 기본으로 관계추출기의 성능을 향상 시키고, 지식베이스를 확장하는 방안으로 반복학습을 제안한다. 실험을 적은 비용으로 빠르게 진행하기 위해 반복학습을 자동화 하는 시스템을 설계하여 실험을 하였고, 이 시스템으로 관계추출기의 성능이 향상 될 수 있는 가능성을 보였으며, 반복학습을 통한 지식베이스의 확장 방안을 제시한다.

Improving a Korean Spell/Grammar Checker for the Web-Based Language Learning System (웹기반 언어 학습시스템을 위한 한국어 철자/문법 검사기의 성능 향상)

  • The goal of this paper is the pedagogical application of a Korean Spell/Grammar Checker to the web-based language learning system for Korean writing. To maximize the efficient instruction of our learning system \\`Urimal Baeumteo\\` we have to improve our Korean Spell/Grammar Checker. Today the NLP system\\`s performance defends on its semantic processing capability. In our Korean Spell/Grammar Checker. the tasks accomplished in the semantic level are: the detection and correction of misused derived and compound nouns in a Korean spell-checking device and the detection and correction of syntactic and semantic errors in a Korean grammars-checking device. We describe a common approach to the partial parsing using collocation rules based on the dependency grammar. To provide more detailed semantic rules. we classified nouns according to their concepts. and subcategorized verbs referring to their syntactic and semantic features. Improving a Korean Spell/Gl-Grammar Checker makes our learning system active and intelligent in a web-based environment. We acknowledge the flaws in our system: the classification of nouns based on their meanings and concepts is a time consuming task. the analytic unit of this study is principally limited to the phrases in a sentence therefore the accurate parsing of embedded sentences remains a difficult problem to solve. Concerning the web-based language learning system. it is critically important to consider its interface design and structure of its contents.

  • Technology-based convergence education is being emphasized for students in the era of the fourth industrial revolution. In math education, students need to increase their capabilities in the future by having them experience mathematical problems using robots and sensors, a key technology in the era of the fourth industrial revolution. To this end, it is necessary to present educational uses for educational robots in relation to math and curriculum from a 'mathematics education perspective' and analyze its educational use in relation to the mathematics and curriculum, considering the role of mathematics at the base of the process of exploring real-world phenomena and solving problems. Based on the analysis of Van Hiele levels of development in geometry and the LOGO activity level of Olson et al.(1987), this study analyzed and presented the level of LEGO Mindstorm activity, a representative educational Robot capable of collecting and analyzing data and programming in the form of block language, in the first to fourth level.
