A calibration algorism for the bias of sensor axis in pedestrian dead reckoning system (보행자 관성 항법시스템에서의 센서 축 편향 보정 알고리즘)

  • PDR은 일반적으로 IMU센서로 부터의 가속도와 각속도를 측정하여 보행자의 위치를 추적하는 시스템이다. IMU센서로부터 측정된 가속도와 각속도 값은 센서를 기준으로 하기 때문에 보행자가 인지하는 고정 좌표계와는 차이가 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해 회전행렬을 사용하며 이후 계속해서 측정되는 각속도를 통해 회전행렬을 업데이트 한다. 업데이트된 회전행렬을 통해 좌표계를 환산하고 환산된 좌표계의 가속도 값으로부터 보행자는 고정좌표계 기준으로 위치 추적이 가능하다. 하지만 회전행렬을 업데이트 하는 과정에서 센서의 세 축이 이상적으로 수직이 아니라면 업데이트 과정에서 각속도의 오차가 누적되고 이는 좌표계를 환산에 영향을 끼쳐 위치 및 속도 추적 정확성을 낮춘다. 물리적인 Bias가 PDR 시스템에 누적오차를 발생시킨다. 이에 제안하는 센서 축 편향 보정 알고리즘은 IMU 센서의 물리적 축 오차를 보정해주어 더 정확한 위치 추적을 가능하게 한다. 또한 Matlab을 통해 데이터를 분석하고 알고리즘의 필요성을 보인다.

  • Trilateral adjustment can complement the problem of transforming cadastral maps into World Geodetic Coordinate system. First, it is possible to determine adjusted coordinate of common points that match each other over a wide area. Second, calculations that focus on specific points can be performed. Third, a solution that maintains the shape of the regional network can be obtained through constraints. Thus, the point coordinates can be determined appropriately for the survey system. In addition, heterogeneous survey results that span regions with different coordinate origins can be calculated on a single origin coordinate. This improves the efficiency of the workflow in tranforming cadastral maps into World Geodetic Coordinate System.

  • This tutorial summarizes the coordinate transforms for formulating geophysical problems. To ensure mathematical consistency, this discussion begins with the right-hand rule. Further, the concepts of active and passive transforms are introduced. By extending these concepts, the coordinate transform and its inverse between two coordinates are related to the matrix transpose. The yaw-pitch-roll rotation and the azimuth-deviation-tool face rotation transforms are described as the most frequently used schemes, and the relation between the Rodrigues' rotation formula and these two transforms are mathematically explained. The "Gimbal Lock" problem inherent in yaw-pitch-roll rotation is schematically presented and mathematically derived. As a useful tool overcome this problem, the principle and usage of the quaternion is also described.

Analysis Change of Parcel Boundaries and Area by Transformation World Geodetic System (세계측지계 전환에 따른 지적 필지별 면적 변화 분석)

  • 현재 우리나라의 측량체계는 크게 측지분야와 지적분야로 이원화되어 있으며 측지분야에서는 2001년도에 측량법을 개정하여 ITRF2000좌표계와 GRS80 타원체를 측량기준으로 사용하는 세계측지계를 도입하였다. 하지만 지적 분야에서는 국민의 재산권과 직접적으로 관련이 있는 필지의 경계와 면적의 변화 연구는 미미한 상태이다. 따라서 본 연구는 2010년 세계측지계 도입 후 지적분야에서 발생할 수 있는 필지별 면적 변동에 따른 사회적 혼란 여부를 판단하기 위하여 서울특별시 종로구 숭인등 숭인4구역주택재개발지구를 연구 대상지로 선정하여 세계측지계 전환에 지적 필지별 면적 변화를 분석하였다. 분석결과 연구대상지는 세계측지계와 지역측지계가 종선(X)축으로 305.87m. 종선(Y)축으로 70.87m 편차로 두 좌표계 간 북동방향으로 313.97m의 차이가 있고, 현행성과와 비교한 결과 종선(X) 방향으로는 평균 +4.0cm, 횡선(Y) 방향으로는 평균 -3.0cm의 차이가 나타났으며, 필지별 면적의 변동량은 $1.0m^2{\sim}3.0m^2$ 차이가 있지만 허용오차 범위 내에 있으므로 세계측지계 전환에는 문제점이 없는 것으로 판단된다. 하지만 본 연구의 결과는 그 대상범위가 한정되어 있고 기 검증된 지적기준점 성과를 사용한 결과이므로, 향후 보다 효율적인 세계측지계 전환과 도입을 위해서는 현 지적기준점체계의 정확한 세계좌표계 변환 성과를 기준으로 한 대단위의 필지별 면적 변동량 및 허용범위 분석과 같은 추가적인 연구가 조속히 이루어져야 할 것으로 판단된다.

A study on the coordinates conversion procedures to activate the transformation of local into world geodetic reference system (세계측지계 전환활성화를 위한 변환방법 연구)

  • According to the revised law of survey, all the geographic information data including 1/1,000 digital topographic maps have to be converted to world geodetic reference system by the end of 2009. National Geographic Information Institute (NGII) formulated the policy to promote the conversion from local geodetic reference system to world geodetic reference system. However, the current conversion rate is lower than planned due to some impeding factors. Therefore, in this paper, those impeding factors are investigated and then efficient conversion strategies are established and provided. The research involves the validation of affine transformation, the determination of critical value for outlier detection and optimal number of common control points for coordinate conversion, and the treatment of old and new control points.

A Study on the Current Status and Improvement Plans of Expected Cadastral Coordinate Mapping for Cadastral Confirmation Surveying (지적확정측량을 위한 예정지적좌표도 작성 현황 및 개선방안 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the current status of expected cadastral coordinate maps by type of district boundary surveying and the problems of non-coincidence with the surrounding land parcels, and to suggest ways to improve them in the future. Currently, the expected cadastral coordinate maps are drawn using various methods such as reference point adjust adjustment, reference point adjust adjustment and present condition, reference point and present condition. As a result, there was a problem of non-coincidence such as overlapping or blanking in expected cadastral coordinate maps for cadastral confirmation surveying and surrounding individual parcels. In addition, detailed unified standards for minimizing the occurrence of non-coincidence problems are lacking. In order to improve the problems analyzed, the study suggested the acquisition and management of digital coordinates for the parcels around the district boundary, the preparation and dissemination of cadastral surveying results determination standard manual for the preparation of expected cadastral coordinate maps, and the preparation of educational programs for cadastral surveying results determination.

  • This study aims at generating a continuous map by coordinates transformation between cadastral maps with different surveying origins. The continuous cadastral map is useful in various fields of GIS. For this purpose, an experimental study was conducted at Osan-Si, Kyonggi Province in cooperation with related institutions. In this study, three control point zone, large, medium, and small zone were to!;ted. For each control point, the currently used data were compared with the data at the surveyed time. About coordinate transformation method, we tested Helmert, Affine, and Polynomial methods which are the most representative among 2-dimensional coordinate transformations. These three transformation methods were evaluated according to variation of transformed parcel shape and agreement with neighboring areas. As the result of the evaluation, Affine transformation in large zone is the most appropriate coordinate transformation method fer Osan-Si.

  • 비접근지역이나 넓은 지역의 3차원 위치정보를 취득하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 KOMPSAT-1호 EOC 스트립 영상과 헤더자료를 이용한 3차원 기하모델링 기법을 개발하고 오차특성을 분석하였다. ECEF 좌표계로 제공되는 위성 헤더자료를 위성궤도 모델링에서 일반적으로 사용되는 ECI 좌표계로 모델링하는 경우와 ECEF 좌표계로 모델링하는 경우에 대해 비교 분석하고 단영상으로 제공되는 KOMPSAT-1호 EOC 영상을 스트립영상으로 재구성한 후 기준점 배치에 따른 오차보정기법을 제시하고 오차특성을 분석하였다.

  • In Korea, the use of world geodetic system(WGS) has been mandated in year 2010. Accordingly, the national geographic information institute(NGIS) provides the digital maps according to the WGS. Nevertheless, most of the digital geological maps are still based on the Tokyo Datum(TD). Therefore, users should conduct 2D/3D geological spatial analysis after converting the coordinates of digital geological maps to WGS. The conversion process is often tedious and troublesome for certain users. Therefore, in this study, the method to transform coordinate from TD to WGS using ArcToolbox is introduced for users not familiar with the process. For a better appreciation, the Chungju and Hwanggang-ri digital sheets of 1:50,000 scale was chosen as an example. Here, Chungju and Hwanggang-ri sheets were defined based on the TD-central origin and TD-east origin, respectively. The two sheets were merged after the transformation of TD-east origin of Hwanggang-ri to the TD-central origin, and eventually transformed to WGS-central origin. The merged map was found to match exactly with the digital map(Daeso 367041). The problem of coordinate determination in previous digital geological maps was solved effectively. The proposed method is believed to be helpful to 2D/3D geological spatial analysis of various geological thematic maps.

  • A general stiffener element which includes transverse shear deformation is formulated using the p-version finite element method. Hierarchic C/sup o/-shape functions, derived from Integrals of Legendre polynomials, are used to define the assembled stiffness matrix of the stiffener with respect to the local reference frame is transformed to the plate reference system by applying the appropriate transformation matrices in order to insure compatibility of displacements at the junction of the stiffener and plate. The transformation matrices which account for the orientation and the eccentricity effects of the stiffener with respect to the plate reference axes are used to find local behavior at the junction of the stiffener and the relative contributions of the plate and stiffener to the strength of the composite system. The results obtained by the p-version finite element method are comared with the results in literatures, especially those by the h-version finite element analysis program, MICROFEAP-II.
